After reviewing their website and options, I reached out over a month ago but received no response. Assuming my message didn't go through, I contacted them again via Yelp on August 15th and received an initial response. However, after I replied, I had to follow up a week later due to no response. They responded again, and I provided the additional requested information on August 25th. I followed up on September 3rd, and it has now been two weeks since my last message. While I understand the challenges independent businesses face in the current economic climate and have been extremely patient due to their 5-star reviews, this level of communication has been completely unprofessional. As a former small business owner, I always maintained transparency about whether projects were within my scope, ability, or bandwidth. If I couldn't take on a project, I communicated that clearly rather than leaving clients in limbo.
