I've been going here since they open because I use live near by they do a good job with eyebrow threading, but don't come here for Brazilian wax. The lady waxed without pulling my skin tight and left so much hair, not stubbles, straight up, hair. And it's not cheap. Not to mention the wax room has gotten so gross. REVIEW STRICTLY ON SEMI PERMANENT EYE LASH EXTENSIONS I have been gone to Yuva multiple times to get my eyebrows threaded and I love them, so when I got a coupon for eye lash extensions I was excited. I had been looking around for eyelash extension places and when I got the coupon it could not have been a better time. I had told my mom about the deal they were having ($29 instead of the regular $45) and she said she wanted to try it too. So we booked our appointments for last Friday and were set to go. When we get there they were really nice and attended to us quickly. They were not very busy but there was only one woman attending to eye lash extensions at the time. My first red flag was the fact that they used Ardell lashes, which are store bought lashes you can find at Target, CVS, etc. but I was like hey maybe they work really well. I went first, and she asked me what length I wanted and showed me the different lengths on, and we decided on medium. Within minutes my eyes were watering like crazy. The lady had told me that it was normal because the glue was strong, and that was another red flag for me. Shouldn't eyelash glue be sensitive enough to be put near your eyes? As she was continuing on I felt little pricks on my lash line and a burning sensation whenever she put them on, but that's normal right? When she finally finished I looked in the mirror and something seemed off. I think she could tell by the look on my face that I wasn't really pleased so she kept on telling me that they looked very natural. However they looked anything but that. It looked like I had a ton of lashes and that I had just put on 5 coats of mascara. At the base my lashes were clumped, and it did not look good at all. They were also very uncomfortable like I was being poked in all the wrong places. My mom went next and she got the same result. When we left we both felt uncomfortable and unsatisfied with our results. However we thought that maybe with time our lashes wouldn't be as stiff, but we were wrong. As the day progressed I had this irritating feeling of something poking my inner eye so I looked in the mirror and a fake eyelash was half unglued sticking into my eye. Then the next morning when I woke up I had more eyelashes unsticking on my outer eye. I was so unpleased but I could not go back to Yuva because my mom and I were supposed to drive to Arizona. As the weekend progressed more eyelashes became unsticking and poking me so I had to pull those out and once Monday came I had to pull all of them out because I had so many bald spots. My mom had the same misfortune and had to start pulling them on Tuesday. All in all, if you want natural looking, comfortable eyelashes, DO NOT COME HERE. We wasted $80+ dollars (service + tip) on eyelash extensions that didn't even last 7 days. Do yourself a favor and look more in depth for a good eyelash place. read more

I've been coming here for years with my sister and mom and after this experience I have no idea if I'll be back again. I usually see the same lady(and I LOVE how she does my brows)but I came in the other day and saw that she was busy so I decided to go to the other lady that was working. Telling you she completely ruined my brows is an understatement. I cried the rest of the day when I got home because of how awful it was and I regret tipping her. I have been growing them out for over a year now and now have to wait months to get them somewhat back to how they used to be.I don't know if she's new or not but she says she specializes in acupuncture and should ONLY stick to that. She completely got rid of my arch and thinned the hell out of my brows and on top of that she left a bald patch on one of my brows. Oh and did I mention that she didn't even do a great job at cleaning them? So she basically ruined my confidence and on top of that didn't even clean the actual unwanted hairs. So I essentially payed to get my brows ruined. I'm disappointed that this establishment would even let someone who is inexperienced deal with something that can be very important to someone. I came upon this place after searching a while in Orange County for an affordable place that does eyebrow threading. This is the only service I've used here. First, the price is comparable and fair for this area and the service. It is excellent if you purchase the 5 eyebrow threading package. There is one particular woman who does an excellent job with threading. I try to return to her each time. I don't know her name, but she usually has the second chair in from the window. The other attendants do a job that range from passing to mediocre. I have learned this from multiple visits. In fact, if I go and find that my favorite stylist is not there, I just try again on a different day. Parking is hit and miss. Park of this is is because the building shares a lot with Little Caesers Pizza and also another shopping plaza. Cash, as mentioned before, is preferred here, especially for tipping. Bringing cash with you for the whole transaction is the best way to go. read more

I always go to Susan for chocolate wax and threading services. I highly recommend asking for her - she's efficient, detail-oriented, and gives great advice on skincare options. My skin has reacted terribly to other hair-removal procedures in the past, including normal wax, and left me with a lot of scars. Susan's recommendation of the chocolate wax has improved my skin so much! She's very gentle and experienced, and I have never had a bad experience with her. Susan's service is easily five stars - the reason I have given four is because the payment and gratuity is more often than not inconsistent. Came in at 6:45, so 45 minutes before closing time. I waited patiently while two ladies were threading customers. From the moment I sat down two people had just finished being attended so two girls go up to get serviced. 30 WHOLE MINUTES PASS and they only get through those TWO girls. From what I saw they were in no rush to provide quick service. Its now 7:15 and I still have a customer before me. She gets serviced and I continue to wait for an Asian lady who was taking her SWEET TIME and finally at 7:20 she is available. While I was on the phone making a quick phone call she rudely interrupts me and asks me if I had written eyebrows/lip. I responded yes and then she goes to say that I HAVE TO PAY FIRST BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOSING. I was OK with everything until she asked that. How can I pay if I am not serviced first?! MAKES NO SENSE. I go on to ask why and she said BC her coworker was going to close the register while she serviced me. I said fine, bc I understand closing register takes some time but IT IS STILL WITHIN BUSINESS HOURS SO WHY WOULD YOU CLOSE YOUR REGISTER. You were not rushing before, but now you are rushing me after waiting for 40 minutes? NOT COOL AT ALL. I hand over my debit card and she gives me a total but has the audacity to ask "Do you want to add tip"? WHY WOULD I TIP FOR NO SERVICE? MAKES NO SENSE. I waited for a very long time, not acknowledged, with no sincere apology and still makes me pay first before getting on the chair??? NO TIP I said loud and clear. Eep. I've been putting off writing this review for a few weeks because I wanted to be sure I was sharing something that was objective and fair to the business owner. I had been here once before for an eyebrow threading and they were very pleasant - a new, clean place that was inexpensive ($6) and near my house. My most recent trip there was an absolute disaster. Not only have their prices gone up incrementally over the last few months ($8 and now $10 for the threading), my bad experience was actually with their waxing services. I went in for a bikini wax, and upon entering on a Saturday afternoon, the woman who did my eyebrows the last time around (who I presume is the owner) was working on another customer. There were 3-4 young girls (one who I believe is her daughter) and presumably some of her friends, who are all working there. They were deceptively young looking (I'm talking high school age!) which made me a little nervous. A place that offers beauty services usually requires some level of experience and skill, but I chalked it up to a nice summer job for the girls to maybe do some clerical/cleaning stuff around the salon and decided to get the waxing done anyway. After some debate among the girls over who would do the waxing, I was brought into the back room. The girl repeatedly left the room while I was half-naked, making no effort to cover me up or warn me - she kept forgetting things outside the room. While they had signs advertised all around for discounted waxes, she suggested a chocolate-based wax to me. She explained its fabulous benefits (and neglected to tell me it would run me nearly $25 more than their advertised price for other waxes, which I found out at check-out). I was already starting to get nervous based on her coming/going from the room. She began to repeatedly lecture me for shaving, and would pull each waxing strip so painfully slow! She blamed my shaving for the difficult time she was having, and after more clumsy attempts I finally told her to just stop. I was in so much pain (despite having this done before at other salons) that I asked her to just end where she was and let me pay and go. She reminded me that it was my fault for shaving, and then suggested I buy a punch card for their wax services. I realize that this place is a threading studio so I perhaps should not have had high expectations of their waxing services, but I was genuinely appalled at the skill and experience level of the staff. Unfortunately, I will never be back there and will never recommend it. read more

Came by for a quick bikini ($15) and had Susan who was really sweet and efficient. She made it quick and as painless as possible! She took me into the waxing room, which is pretty minimalist at best. Don't expect a relaxing, spa-like feel from here. It's just a small room with a small bed, no frills or whistles. It didn't look the absolute cleanest in my opinion (bed cover looked old), but Susan used new sticks for every dip, so they are definitely hygienic. Check in on yelp for $1 off! read more

Well, I got Brazilian and it was my nightmare. In the beginning, the guy at desk was so nice and explained me about all great price deals. I was really considering to get facial and wax.. I'm glad I didn't get facial. it was pain and not clean and nice as I expected for a new shop. My main problem was that they don't have a baby wipe to clean after.. The lady gave me sanitizer and paper napkin. Seriously?? In addition to that, she didn't clean me good.. and their wax is something different than what Im used to. She poured a lot of oil and cleaned by paper napkin.. Of course left over wax is there.. so I came home with weird walking. I washed 10 times but there is still left over wax. I called them and asked what to do.. Then the guy told me to take off by oil first.. I did by oil and use "BABY WIPE" to clean. well, I still feel sticky... This was my nightmare... who doesn't have a baby wipe at waxing place? They asked me if I'm not happy with the service and they will give me free 2 waxings if i paid $40. well, i rather pay $28 and done with this place. Hated it! They practically scam you, I was charged a large amount for just the tip with no say in it.

They were running a $5 eyebrow threading special because of their grand opening, and the price was highly reflective of the level of customer service. The front desk attendants were warm and welcoming, but customer service stopped there. Once in the chair for my eyebrow threading, I was not greeted but merely told, "Put your hand here." The threader finished in roughly 2 minutes, and then asked me to check my brows in a mirror. There were pieces of hair in about four different spot that I asked her to clean up, and even after doing so, she did not thoroughly remove my excess eyebrow hair. I go to salons once a month for eyebrow threading, and are familiar with the process. Vinita's Beauty and Threading Studio, who I frequent, is slightly east of Yuva, and by all means is FAR superior. read more

I've been going to this place since day one. I love everything about them, friendly and clean, but they are always busy which is a downside, BUT it's worth the wait if you ask for Susan. She is my go to. She does an amazing job!!! She is the only one I ask for. Whenever I go somewhere else to get my brows threaded, I can always go back to her and she'll make my brows perfect again. My most recent trip to Yuva's was by far the best I've had there. As soon as I walked in I could feel positive energy in the room and was greeted cheerfully by the receptionist. I only had to wait 2 minutes for Mona who took care of my eyebrow threading. She inquired as to how I was doing and did an amazing job on my eyebrows. She took care of the stray hairs which I had previously noted wasn't done the last time I had visited this location. She also gave me a great eyebrow massage and didn't send me on my way until I indicated that I was happy with the outcome of my threading. I been coming to this place for a few months. Mostly just do eye brows and lips. I didn't like it at the beginning. I saw the ad on the side of the road, $6 eyebrows threading, so I give it a try and ended up buying the packages. I had different person work on me every time, and every time hurt. The last time of my package, that lady was amazing. It didn't hurt much, fast, and clean, so I purchased more store credit. Time after time, their skill improved a lot. I won't say they have the best customer service. Besides the front desk lady, most of the workers are limited in English, but still feel the kindness. If you weren't happy with them in the past, maybe give them another try. read more
