I don't know how the chef manages that...I just have no specific dish recommendations because they are all great! Highly recommended! I really love Indian food. This was okay, but there are lots of places in KC that I like better. Pros- it was the right spice level. The naan was good and reasonably priced. I hate it when people review a place without trying it. I did go in planning on lunch and I drove about 8 miles out of my way because it was something new and sounded really good. SPOILER.....DO NOT READ if you don't want the gory non-food particulars. Unfortunately, I have GI issues that forced me to the restroom first. Sat down in a big hurry, then saw they were out of t.p., too late for any options. They had a pile of hand towels on the handicap bar right next to the toilet. Huh. Not my first choice, but at least I could make do with a very unsanitary disposal in the trash can. Not my first unpleasant rodeo...I wrapped it up as well as I could. Then....upon arising I saw a unwrapped t.p. roll that had been directly behind me. There was an empty two roll dispenser in front of me. This was at 11:30 in the morning when they had just opened. Too lazy to stock the toilet paper before they open in the morning?! I did not eat I went across the parking lot to Whole Foods, where the only issue is trying to decide what to get. The food may be good but a dirty (yes, I looked) uncared for restroom is an appetite killer. I recommend you avoid it at least until they take trash out. read more

Worst first experience EVER!!! My husband and I were so excited to try this restaurant. We looked online and it said they close at 9pm on Sunday's. We arrived at 8:20pm and the door was locked. The sign clearly said 9pm so I decided to call the restaurant in case I miss read it on google and yelp about the close time. Lady employee answered the phone. I asked her what time the restaurant closed and she answered 9pm. I than responded, I'm outside the restaurant but the door is locked. She replied, oh yes sorry our kitchen is closed now. I asked, why does google and your door hours say 9pm. I got upset at this point because she started making excuses to why they were closed and how I should've called in advance. I told her I will not be back as I have bad experience.... her response back was ok whatever. This employee was extremely RUDE. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. If service is this bad who knows how they cook the food. In my opinion if you don't have patience, passion, and respect to talk to your customers than who knows how pissed off you are when you cook the food. Lunch out with hubs. He ordered the Chicken Thali and I had the Lamb Thali w Mango Lassi. It is a great lunch. Small salad, raita, paneer, the meat, a potato soup, naan , rice like and a sweet treat. This was our first time with Nepalese dishes and they did not disappoint. We have tried the following: Chicken Lunch Combo, Veg Lunch Combo, Lamb Lunch Combo, Chicken Momo's, Veggie Momo's, Somosa, Mushroom 65, Veggie Chow Mein (Regular), Chicken Chow Mein (Spicy), and the Old Delhi Chicken Curry. The lunch combos are a great way to try several different dishes. The main dish and the sides change daily. It would take too much time to go into how great each individual dish was. For an appetizer we had Momo Chaat Chicken-Crispy fried dumplings topped with a tangy tamarind, yogurt and sauce. One of my most difficult experiences, the food time was huge, it took me ages for some of the food itself to come. As I told myself, the longer the wait time the better the food, yet the food wasn't so great, it was alright judging the wait time.
