Ordered online for pick up. It was very clean looking inside. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken and shrimp with fried noodles. The noodles had a bad smell to them. I took one bite of the noodles and they tasted terrible. I ate a few pieces of the protein and veggies and had to throw the rest of it away. I'm writing this the next day and my stomach has been tore up all morning.
Environment Clean, Staff friendly, variety of all you can eat sushi items, fast and fresh service. This is my new all you can eat spot! The Squid Salad!! OMG TO DIE FOR!!
This place does AYCE well! My son invited me here for lunch. The place is decorated nicely and has a projector showing different geographic areas in Asia. I could not tell if music was playing because it got crowded quickly! If you are ordering all you can eat, you are given a paper menu to select what you would like. Items come out when its prepared so it may not come out in a certain order. They have appetizers, sushi, hibachi, and more. Multiple servers assist you, so be mindful of that. I enjoyed this place and hope to return!
OMG this was absolutely my best sushi experience thus far in Charlotte. I have never had All you can eat sushi before and let me tell you the experience, food quality, and service deserve 5 stars. Every dish came out quickly, my server "Susan" was absolutely delightful she was so attentive and helped me figure out how to order with the all you can eat. I left a happy Otaku camper! And would recommend this spot for my fellow sushi connoisseurs. Itadakimasu!
The staff is very cordial and when you make your selection they get it right back to the kitchen and so the food comes out hot fresh she'll answer any of your questions we've really enjoyed coming here, the sushi is fantastic and there's so many different dishes to choose from you just got to keep coming back and explore something different each time
All you can eat sushi, ordered from big sheets of their menu. I was here at lunch time on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. There was little wait while my appetizers and rolls and such were prepared. Delicious, fresh, low fat and high satisfaction. I did an avocado and eel maki roll that was great. Some nigiri that were delicious. Another set of eel and avocado but this time, temaki. All of it, excellent. I did three sheets and there was no pushback when I ordered that third. That's a positive. I watched some videos on my phone (with earbuds in!), enjoyed stuffing myself with yummy sushi after a workout next door, and had a pleasant meal. No regrets! I was craving sushi and ended up checking out Yummy Sushi. Now let me be real -- I'm not a "traditional sushi only" type yet -- but I AM a big fan of deep-fried rolls, and this place definitely delivered. They had plenty of fried roll options to choose from, which I loved. I ordered the Angel Hair Roll and the Volcano Roll, and both were VERY good. Crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside, and the sauces they provided were more than enough to get the job done. The yum yum sauce was also on point -- always a win in my book. If you're into fried sushi rolls, this is definitely a place worth checking out. Of course their hand roll selection, you will not be disappointed as well. I did order to-go but they had enough seating in the inside for your family to come in and enjoy the meal right there. I'm already looking forward to coming back next time I'm in the mood for that crispy sushi fix.

These places and their over charging has made me stop wanting to eat out. Charging 9.25% taxes and OPF charges to fix my food. Thus is robbery. Look at the receipt. My 1st and Last time going there.
The restaurant has nice ambiance and a spacious seating area. The servers were attentive and communicative. They were constantly checking in. The food was very good. It tasted fresh and exceeded my expectations for quality, especially being an AYCE place. I really enjoyed the salmon yuzu appetizer. The sauce is amazing! I wanted to dip all of my other sushi in it. The serving sizes for the rolls are generous and felt proportionate--not like they padded it with a ton of rice. I will definitely be going back!
Had a really good experience at this AYCE place on South Boulevard! As Mr. Tokyo's regulars, we were curious how Yummy Sushi would compare. And we weren't disappointed - this may just become our new go-to spot! Coming in for lunch on a Monday, there was plenty of space, and we felt very comfortable being there with our baby. We were immediately seated at a comfortable booth, and service was attentive and friendly. The inside is nicely decorated - casual with care. $15 per person for lunch is a great deal for the variety of food options and quality! We had crab rangoon, seaweed salad, a couple nigiri, as well as some rolls. All tasted fresh and came out pretty quickly. We actually were accidentally served an extra roll that we didn't order, and our server assured us that we didn't have to eat it/get charged. Good thing too because we were stuffed! The hardest part here is pacing yourself because you want to try a bit of everything. Awesome AYCE option for a group, especially considering that $15 would only get you 1-2 rolls at other sushi spots! See you again soon, Yummy Sushi!

Wasn't to busy went at lunch right when they opened good call started getting busy after that... service was amazing very very attentive which is good because you do have a time limit (understandable could stay for hours lol) Food was very delicious and fresh!! Love how the menu are setup makes it very easy to order!! Definitely be returning

This place is amazing! All you can eat sushi and other Japanese goodies made to order for 14.99 before 3pm. And the variety of items is impressive. Service beyond a doubt outstanding thanks to our server Noah! That guy deserves a raise. The interior is nice and spacious with plenty of booths and tables. Nice video of sea life on a giant screen. The miso soup and the Boston roll were definitely winners. But everything was delish!! Highly recommend but there is a small wait. We waited like 20 Minutes but it was worth it. read more

If you're looking for an affordable all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi spot for lunch, Yummy Sushi is a solid choice. At just $14.99, it's hard to beat the value. While the variety and selection aren't as extensive as some other AYCE places, the price more than makes up for it. I really enjoyed the soups. The clear soup includes mushrooms, green onion, and fried onion, and the miso soup has tofu and seaweed--both were flavorful and not overly salty. We tried several rolls: the Spicy Crab Crunch Roll, Eel Cucumber Roll, Eel Avocado Roll, Volcano Roll, Dynamite Roll, and Dragon Roll. The fried rolls, Spicy Crab Crunch Roll and the Dragon Roll were my favorites. The Eel Cucumber and Eel Avocado rolls were just okay. read more
I ordered takeout from here through a food delivery app. The sushi took about an hour to get here and was room temperature. That is mostly due to the delivery platform making the driver take multiple stops. However, temperature aside I just felt like the sushi lacked flavor overall. I had to use a lot of wasabi and soy to make it taste like anything. Even the seaweed wrap didn't taste like much. I would try this place again and not order delivery next time and dine in to see if that changes it. read more
We went for my daughter's birthday on a Saturday night and it was a packed house. Surprisingly we got seated immediately for a party of 5. The servers were on point, the food was good. I placed an order to go and when I brought it home the Hibachi Steak & Shrimp was a good portion that was full of flavors. We've been to Sushi Hana and never to Mr. Tokyo. Our comparison is that the ambience is nicer and more spacious at Sushi Hana but the sushi was better here. Check them out if you are craving good sushi!!! If you've ever been to "Mr. Tokyo" this is exactly the same thing. All You Can eat sushi and hibachi. Everyone was super efficient and friendly. They do close from 3-4pm. Sushi tasted extremely fresh and the hibachi meals were super tasty. Came on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm and had plenty of time to eat in an hour. Our waitor kept letting us know the time and how much time we had until the kitchen was closed so it made us not be rushed or disappointed when we wanted to order more. Such a delicious early dinner and will definitely return. Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. read more
Our family usually goes to another all-you-can-eat sushi buffet, but we decided to give this a try and it did not disappoint. There is a lot more variety of appetizers and entree plates then at the other sushi buffet. Our family also ordered 2 orders of mussels with cheese and they were fresh, and hot to our table. Very delicious. TIP: they are not part of the menu, but if you ask nicely they can be provided. Our food was always made at a fast pace, and brought immediately to our table. All of the sushi was made to order with fresh ingredients. They do close for an hour in between lunch and dinner buffeta, and our server was great at letting us know when the last call for food was. The staff was super nice and they explained how the all you can eat works. It is best to order what you know you can eat and then order more when you finish - they charge for food not eaten! This restaurant was so cute inside and outside! Sushi was amazing and fresh. This was my first time here and I'll definitely be back. They also do all you can eat it with their items so definitely want to try that next. All sushi items were but one get one half off. The crunchy roll was good it had tempura crab stick and crunchy pieces in it! Both California and Boston are of course basic roll but were still good and fresh. The mango tango roll was definitely me stepping out of my comfort zone but was so okay. Not really my cup of tea, I'm glad I tried it was definitely different. The sweetness from the mango and mango sauce on top was too sweet for me but definitely was better with soy sauce for hint of salt. A piece or too was fine but definitely couldn't finish it. I like that their spicy mayo actually had a slight hint of spice because most places don't. When I got there no one was at the front desk so I did have to wait like 5 minutes to get my food, but overall still a great experience. I also was able to get a free led star wars chop stick that are really cute and light up! read more
Awesome all you can eat restaurant. It's not just all you can eat sushi. The service was fast and friendly. The food came out fast which was nice because all you can eat takes a while. Did pick up. Don't let the area fool you. This location caters to people who think spicy mayo is too spicy. Staff gets the job done. The establishment looks clean. They didnt seem to be bothered by me, my tattoos, or anything. The food couldve been better. Catering to people who don't appreciate sushi can lead to somewhat lackluster food. Yes they're busy. But overtly fishy nori, rice that tastes of over used sugar for the mirin. An as i said before a spicy mayo that lacked presence. I mean its not bad. Its just not for me. read more

A new AYCE sushi restaurant that recently opened not too long ago. I came in maybe a few weeks after they opened. Menu is limited compared to other places however it is decently priced for an AYCE. I ordered the tiger roll - the tempura shrimp was a bit dry for me but the sushi was okay. The appetizers were good - I enjoyed the yellowtail jalapeño and yuzu salmon. The teriyaki steak was solid. read more
I like everything about this restaurant. The value for lunch is unbelievable, $14.99 AYCE, with Tax and Tips comes to about $20. It is an amazing deal. The food came out fast and the service is excellent both times there. The food quality is also excellent. The restaurant also nice and clean. Honestly probably the BEST AYCE sushi place in CLT. Which isn't saying too much but many of the other places started cheapening out and lowering their quality. Hopefully this place keeps its quality and thick cut of fish! The service was great and fast! Super friendly and nice and they even offered us free tea and ramune. Price are fair and only $15 during lunch which makes this dangerous for my diet. This is the only place that offers Takoyaki! It was great and nicely crispy but soft. My favorite was for sure the Sashimi appetizers the yellowtail jalapeño and the yuzu salmon (my favorite). The rice is DENSE! So it does fill you up quickly. read more
