Me and my family's first time here. It was pretty good. We got the whole chicken family dinner with 3 sides. We got yellow rice, black beans and sweet plantain. we also got mango juice and passionfruit juice which both were good, Just a little to water down. I do wish the sweet plantains were fried a little longer and the rice portion was bigger for a family meal and the amount of beans provided. But other than that it was a good lunch. And they have a large vegan menu ! Service was good it was empty when we walked in but was helped right away. It was pretty clean in there and bathroom was clean. I did not get pictures of those. I've ordered here a couple times and usually get the Dorian wrap or bowl. It usually always consistent in taste. Last night I got a bowl and saved it for today. It worked out perfectly. The avocado slices stayed green overnight. Just take off the top half and heat up the cheese, meat as well as rice. It usually not so busy but they do take Uber/online orders. If you like pungent flavors I could recommend the yellow sauce. The restaurant is always clean and service ready to assist. They have a vegan menu just as large as the meat/dairy menu. It's cute inside.

Ordered the Dorian bowl, when I asked about flavors/recipe I was told it would be a little spicy. Food was freshly prepared and had nice presentation but the flavor wasn't there for me. I was expecting more boldness from the chicken. It wasn't bad but it was boring to me. The service was ok. I wasn't greeted when I walked in and as I scanned over the menu there was no engagement from the staff until I began to ask questions. The fresh juices were really good tho! I mixed the pineapple mint and the passion fruit!
I've eaten at hello chicken several times over the years and it's never disappointed. You simply can't beat the price for the quality and amount that you receive.
I am always impressed!!! I have used them twice now to cater and they have knocked it out the park every time. The food is delicious and they always go above and beyond. We always get the family meals which feeds the posted amount and more. Also please eat the empanadas-

Give your order at the counter and your food will be brought to you. There is even more limited seating now due to Covid and masks are required. I was particularly impressed with the vegan offerings in the Peruvian chicken haven. I was so starving I ordered way more than I could possibly finish. You could tell the chicken soup was really made from chickens and botany artificial flavors. I do wish they had seasons it up a bit more. The main attraction here is the rotisserie chicken. It was tender, juicy, and tasty. Loved the sauces including the passion fruit. The sides were just okay for me. The sweet potato's were very small and a little over done. Some reviews raves about the flavor of the black beans so I orders them but just found them to be satisfactory. Perhaps those reviewers did not come from South Florida where delicious beans are the norm? The broccoli was very plain. I did think my son's yellow rice was good. The servers were very friendly. Overall, a nice little place to stop by for a chicken fix at reasonable prices.
Great place for a tasty lunch in Pineville. Was working in the Pineville area. I was in the mood for a good salad with some kind of meat and hello. Chicken popped up during my Yelp review. The Dorian chicken bowl was a large portion size, and I got the Yucca fries to go with it. Only thing I would suggest is putting the salad in a bigger bowl to allow the salad to be flipped/stirred without losing half the salad on the table. The sauces that came with it were outstanding and the chicken had a great flavor. The Yucca fries were crispy and paired well with the salad and the mild green sauce. I was craving some Latin food and ended up finding this location and I'm glad I did. They have plenty of indoor seating, so it's a nice spot to actually sit down and enjoy your meal. I ordered the 1/2 dark chicken plate with yellow rice and chicken soup. The chicken soup is the only thing I wished it had a little bit more flavor but it was all good. The beef empanadas were VERY good (fyi if you go on Tuesdays, I believe they are $1) . I also grabbed their mango juice, and it tasted fresh, natural, and authentic -- definitely a highlight. Overall, this is a solid food spot with a nice variety of menu options. I didn't get any pictures this time (my bad ), but I would definitely go back and enjoy another meal here. New spot recommended by a close by business cashier and I was not disappointed. I'm mad I only ordered the empanadas but I wanted to give them a try first. They were better than good! I had 3 for ~$6.25 1 beef and 2 chicken and sauce on the side. I will definitely be back to try some more. Customer service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and quiet. read more

We ended up here on a whim, and ended up really enjoying it. This is a spot within a strip mall, my expectations were low. We quickly fell in love with the fresh juices and ordered more before departing. Everything was fresh! read more

Like many of our restaurant choices, the Yelp Charlotte Top 100 list for 2019 led us here. Covid-19: you can order and pay over the phone. They don't do curbside pickup, but employees were wearing masks and there was no one else in the restaurant when I went in to get my takeout. I got the Chicken Dorian Bowl and added sides of sweet plantains and yucca. I really enjoyed the flavor of the Chicken Dorian Bowl. It was a huge portion too, I should have saved some for later. The chicken was a little dry, so I would probably see if I could do dark meat next time. I love yucca and sweet plantains and these were no exception. The portion size seemed really small for the price though. The small portion had 4 yucca fries for $4 and 6 plantains for $4. Make sure to try their sauces. They were my favorite part. The yellow was my favorite followed by the green. It reminded me a bit of Viva Chicken, so if you've been there, you should give Hello Chicken a try. read more
I've really gotten into the concept of rotisserie chicken. In some places, it's Pollo a la Brasa or Peruvian chicken, these charcoal cooked chickens are tender, juicy and delicious. As it was today when I had lunch at Hello Chicken on Pineville-Matthews Road. Warm greeting and a short wait for my lunch. Delicious! My very small complaint is that their sides are almost all carbs with the exception of the side salad. So my chicken was with salad and salad to support my keto program that I'm on. Hello Chicken is a Columbian Rotisserie that has a menu that's far different than other Columbian Rotisseries I've been to. I got the Chicken Dorian Bowl which consist of white rice, chicken with Dorian sauce, avocado, red beans, Pico de Gallo salsa, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. It was a good amount of food and had good flavor. I probably would have like it with some kind of hot sauce or hot salsa but I would definitely order it again. I never asked what the Dorian sauce was but it was good with the combination of flavors. From reviewing their menu they use the Dorian sauce on a lot of their menu items. They also have classic rotisserie chicken and sides too. Hello Chicken it tucked away in the back of the Tower Place Festival shopping center and you have to really be on the lookout for it. I ordered the chicken Dorian bowl with a side of green salsa. The presentation was very nice. The flavor was good but didn't wow me. It definitely needed the extra salsa for flavor. PINEVILLE, NC 06/04/19 DINNER +Excellent customer service. The cashier even offered to clear my table. +The spicy and medium sauces were good. +The chicken was surprisingly moist and cooked well. You gotta love Colombian or Peruvian rotisserie. +The side salads were amazing; e.g., cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cheddar, etc. The passion fruit salad dressing is a must! +The pricing is great. It is definitely a great cheap eats contender. -No loyalty rewards program. -They use the Clover point of sale app, so no itemization of receipts and you have to click a link to access the receipt. Overall, my customer experience here was pleasant and I would return to try other items on the menu. It's definitely a go-to spot for me, if I am on business travel in the area. We wanted someplace healthy and low key for Valentine's Day. I didn't feel like cooking or battling the crowds. So, I opened yelp and found this place nearby. I'd passed it before, but didn't give it much thought. The exterior isn't much to look at. (Same for inside.) however, the staff is friendly and efficient. We enjoyed moist chicken and flavorful sides. The sweet potato was delicious! The broccoli isn't cooked much, so if you don't like it crisp, give it a pass. We visited this place after shopping in the area. To keep it simple we ordered a family meal which consisted of a whole chicken and three large sides. The service was exceptional. They set the bar high with their customer service and it will definitely set them apart. Our food took a few moments to come out and when it was ready, they brought it the table. We hadn't grabbed any silverware from the self help station, so they went and grabbed us some themselves. The chicken was technically a whole one but it's served in 4 pieces. Two breasts with wings attached and two leg quarters. The chicken was moist and juicy and the salsas that they serve with it, definitely take it another level. The rice and veggies was actually really good. Just plain white rice with a simple veggie medley of peas, carrots and corn I think but they obviously cooked it broth and seasoning. It was flavored very well. The mac and cheese seemed to be a prepackaged frozen variety that they cook in house but still pretty good. The fried yucca was good as well. Their sanitation rating is 99.5! I was asked if I needed plates and silverware (nice touches). I ordered a family meal with three large sides and a vegan fried rice. I was able to substitute white meat for all dark meats. The vegan chicken rice was moist and well seasoned. The empanadas are not my favorite, so I would probably skip it in the future (I bought it mostly for my husband). The chicken was moist and seasoned. The tostones were tough which can happen if not fried per order. I am from the Caribbean, so fried plantains is a staple in that region. The yellow rice was moist, but over salted. To remedy the saltiness, I added some white rice I had made to the yellow rice. The establishment is quaint and modest. The young lady who took my order was very sweet and attentive. My total came to $47.36. FYI: there's a 3% credit card added if you use a card. I was not notified otherwise I would have paid cash. I believe this is my third time at this establishment. I went in there a few weeks back and purchased the vegan sandwich, vegan dorian wrap, and the vegan chicken rice. My husband enjoyed everything that day. Prior to that I visited the establishment when we lived in the TRIAD and would drive to Charlotte. I think overall, the food is good. Service has been great. read more

I would come back to this place almost everyday. The flavors are just so much better than a lot of rotisserie chicken places. 1st visit: chicken empanadas, Dorian chicken wrap. Pineapple mint drink and the vegan flan (I'm not a fan of the texture but still great flavor) - OMFG!!! Wow!!!!! I mean... just visit 2nd visit (3days later) - chicken empanadas, chicken and rice plate and now my go to drink - pineapple mint LARGE!!! Then on top of that, they have a FULL vegan menu Been super impressed with the freshness and the tasty combos of flavor. I will eat, wash, and repeat!!! read more
Delicious new Colombian Restaurant just opened in Pineville! Located in the Tower Place Shopping Center this yummy new restaurant has that delicious Colombian rotisserie chicken that we love. The owners are hands on and will give you samples of nearly anything on the menu. We sampled almost 1/2 the menu ! He kept bringing samples !!! I almost got too full to eat but hey I took one for the team and had black beans with veggie rice. It was delicious! The hubs had 1/2 chicken with a sweet potato ! It was so delicious! Chicken soup, chicken salad or rotisserie chicken this place has it all ! Be aware that the chicken salad is a salad with shredded rotisserie chicken on it not the American idea of a mayo based chicken salad . The menu has a nice variety of all things chicken! The wraps and bowls will not disappoint! The sauces were delicious.... some were really spicy ! The drinks are as yummy as the food . Be sure to try the Pineapple with mint ! It is so good ! OMG! Im in love. This place is BOMB. I wish i had more pictures to post! I went there to grab food for a movie night. Bought food for 4 pple, placed my order super late, almost closing time, but i was NOT disappointed. First of all, the staff! I didn't wanna leave the restaurant! I was out there conversating with the girls, they were super nice, super welcoming, super professional holy shit customer service 1000% Thank you girls! You made my night yesterday! And then comes the food. Literally best mashed potatoes I ever had! The amount of salad and french fries they give you is great! And i got a kids rice for $5 but almost felt like it was a whole dish! Very affordable! Prices are great! My meat was cooked perfectly! THE TRES LECHES FLAN MADE EVERYTHING PERFECT! I JUST FOUND MY NEW FAVORITE SPOT! read more
