I am quite familiar with Yummy's because I know the dj that djs there every Saturday night. The food is well okay, but that's nothing to say because I'm not a fan of Chinese/Asian food, but personally I think they should stick with just Chinese food. The pad Thai is not good. It's spicy and doesn't have any peanut taste whatsoever. Overall, Yummys is an okay restaurant that serves Asian fusion food, but should stick to Chinese. So-so. Not horrible but not really worth it, especially with better places around. Nothing really stood out but I do remember the chicken fingers being really dry. Drinks were also average. Very good mixed Asian cuisine, Excellent service, pleasant friendly ownership, well versed chef ( in various regional Chinese cuisines) consistent quality (very good) and portion size ( plentiful ). Absolutely the WORST Chinese food. Chicken fingers were soggy, egg rolls were stuffed with tasteless, unidentifiable red stuff - not peppers or tomatoes - the boneless ribs were tiny pieces of meat that were hard and dry (like jerky) and the Shrimp and Lobster Sauce had a strange odor and was tasteless. To add to this mess, they list Chicken Pad Thai on their menu - something I love. What arrived was NOT Pad Thai - it was a pile of noodles with slices of red pepper in a brown sauce. And it was inedible. I felt completely deceived - no tamarind paste, no scallions, no bean sprouts or eggs. We actually threw out 99% of the food. $60 down the drain. NEVER EAT HERE! read more

We go occasionally because it is convenient to all in our party. They have gone "downhill" with regard to their quality and portion sizes (both are shrinking!) Drinks are watered down (not world's best mai tai anymore). A real Townie Bar, where the regulars at the bar rule. The food was overpriced, mediocre, and they made us pay for the side of rice! The side of rice alone was the cost of an entree in other Chinese food restaurants. If it had been mediocre and cheap, that would be fine. Or, if they charged these prices for amazing food. The worst part wasn't the taste, it was the old oil burps and minor food poisoning that came after eating their General Tso's Chicken. Never again. Nothing was moldy or rotten, so I'm giving them a two. But, get your Chinese food elsewhere. read more

Okay, so we discovered Yummy about 9 months ago. My husband, who isn't a fan of Chinese food to begin with, fell in love with the Mongolian beef, and was happy going there whenever I suggested it. I was happy, as well, with the fried appetizers and pupu platters - and especially the crab rangoon - because a VERY LIGHT batter was used, and you actually got a piece of chicken or shrimp, or what have you, without its being buried in a thick breading. We really were delighted to find a place that we both could enjoy. It certainly isn't the fanciest place, but the food - and waitstaff - more than compensates for the atmosphere. More recently, after being pretty much quarantined for months, and sick of our own cooking, we decided to get take-out from Yummy. What a disappointment! I don't know if they've changed chefs or what happened, but the fried foods were ensconced in that same thick breading that caused us to give so many other Chinese restaurants a double thumbs down. SO unlike our earlier experiences there! We'll probably give them one more try in the months to come, just to see if that was an "off" night, but if we get the same thickly breaded stuff that we got with our last take-out, I'm afraid we'll be crossing them off our list. read more

If you want hot and fresh late night food with a beer or a cocktail, this is the absolute best place in all of the surrounding towns for that. Service at the bar for food is fast and very friendly. You can't get this service anywhere else! You really can't! The only downside is that I'm always confused what they're closing time is. The bar and take out will usually stay open as long as they have business, so just ask how much time you have left and how many more drinks you can have! read more

This place is as Chinese as Apple pie. I'm sure getting drinks at the bar is great. Not sure about the worlds best Mai Tie claim, but sure, why not in Dudley MA. Ordered four "Chinese meals" the curry wasn't curry. The fried food was all the same battered sludge with different sauces on top. It's certainly worth the extra drive to Putnam to get a serviceable Chinese meal, if that's what you're in the mood for. Otherwise you will be left un satisfied. Please note that rice is not included it's extra, which makes the food even more overpriced. read more

This restaurant is the worst example of food and customer service ever. I was absolutely disgusted with how they treated our waitress, they followed her around and told all of her tables she was new and degraded her and made everyone uncomfortable. They blamed her for bringing out the wrong rice when in all actuality it was a male waiter with zero personality that brought it out. The Chinese group of employees sat around in a group talking about the American employees and the guests. I was appalled, couldn't believe they were doing this. The owners are rude and nasty people. The food tasted like burnt rubber . I will never return here. They should be reported to the board of health for how dirty it is in there as well. read more

Worst possible take out..there was a 2 hour wait..had to wait more when we arrived..rice was cold and tasteless..crispy beef so hard and over cooked..hard to cut with steak knife..mustard watered down. Yuck! Never again. read more

The food here is usually really great. But the last few times they have messed up my order. And then the waiter never comes back to ask how everything is so I never have a chance to tell him that it's wrong. He just gives us our food and leaves. Then he took our sauces and gave them to another table. He didn't even ask if we were done with them. Very disappointing experiences the last few times I've been there. read more
