Ok so the same is a little silly, but it's definitely accurate. I got a gyro platter delivered via GrubHub and it was excellent. The gyro was ground instead of sliced which was unusual but worked better for the platter. The platter was not only delicious but very filling... I ordered a side of baklava which I could barely finish. Nice to have NYC quality Middle Eastern only about 20 min away. read more

For someone who has worked in NYC and has eaten quality halal food, this place is very solid. The food is tasty but a bit pricey. The place that is temporarily closed where I live has portions about the same size and are a few dollars cheaper and do not charge $1 per added topping. I think $3 is a bit pricey for a spoonful of onion, pepper, and cucumbers (which they forgot). And the only advice I have for them is to make employees either wear a hat or hair net and tie their hair completely back. The cashier that was there today had her bangs out and the rest of her hair was tied back a bit, but not very well and made me want to look my food over. First time going there and the server was very helpful. Asked if I wanted chicken or lamb and the proceeds to give me a sample of the chicken platter. I decided on the chicken platter after the sample. The platter has lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, rice and pita bread. They also have a loyalty card after 10 platters you get a free platter. Very good food, extremely clean something you don't get from a cart when you're in Manhattan. So I appreciate it. staff is generally very friendly and helpful although there can be a slight language barrier with certain staff. It's not really a big deal just don't be a schmuck basically. Some things are slightly different from traditional NYC halal for example ground lamb on the gyros instead of sliced but the flavor is still good. read more

Solid food stop with really nice variety of vegetables and extra you can get on your platter. The beef shawarma can be a hit or a miss at times. So we used to hit this spot when it was at the crystal run location and they ways had the rudest people working. And honestly I hate food courts. First off I will say, for what ever reason I always had this stigma that halal food was bland and repulsive(without ever trying it) I tried this for the 1st time about 5 days ago. I've been back 3 times since then. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty while eating the chicken pita, it's finger licking worthy. I'm not a fan of onions either or lettuce, but I can eat all of it together with pleasure. There's a literal explosion of flavor that occurs in your mouth. I found myself questioning how I could possibly be enjoying something so much that had onions. The food is extremely juicy and tastes fresh. My husband loves the place. He loves falafel and says it is delicious. I got something called a chicken platter. The chicken was minced, like tiny, like you couldn't tell it was chicken.
