About ten minutes after picking it up, I got home and popped open that 21st-century "Tupperware" container--and the food was still steaming hot. Not warm... not "microwave revival" hot... I mean fresh off the stove hot. The first bite was magical. It had that love-at-first-sight feeling... or like that first date when you get butterflies down in the gizzard meeting someone special. The shrimp were fresh, the vegetables were cooked just right, and there was plenty of sauce--no dry "Sahara Desert" situation going on here. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. This meal absolutely delivered. Now when you place your order, the lady on the phone might not be competing for any Southern hospitality awards--but she was efficient and clearly knew what she was doing because the meal was spot on. It was so hot that it was still warm even after we had almost finished with our entrées. My sister got the Moo Goo Gai Pan and I got General Tao's Chicken.
