Spicy Chicken Bowl
Samantha G.

We just took 5 of our seven kids there today and guess how many ate their food and loved it? 5 out of 5. Y'all. That's a huge win. We all had bowls, ranging from steak to spicy chicken to regular chicken. My husband got a large and he will be eating it tonight and probably tomorrow. My three teenagers had regular sized bowls and they all had left overs. I split a junior bowl between my two and four year olds; and it was a good amount. We also had crab rangoon and egg rolls. Every single thing was good. I also ordered a side of extra spicy sauce because I'm spicy like that, and it did not lie. My sinuses are open and clear . Staff was good, even after our two year old dumped a whole cup of water on the floor. We will 100% be back.

Maybe orange chicken? We ordered breaded orange chicken, but this is not it.

As suggested by the owner in response to my previous review, I gave it another chance. I can't even believe that it was worse than the last time. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and it took more than 30 minutes to get our food. We didn't receive what we ordered. The food was absolutely inedible. Ordered Katsu, I don't even know what we were given. I'm not even sure that it was chicken. Cooked till it was burned. Absolutely horrible and disgusting. Owner: do yourself a favor and close this location. Corporate: save your companies name and close this location. Garbage.

Their prime rib is so tender it practically falls apart with each bite. The au jus on the side enhances the meat's flavor without overpowering it. The horseradish sauce adds a nice spicy kick. It is the perfect meal for a special occasion.

A large spicy chicken teriyaki with very, very little chicken actually in it

I'm sorry to say this was not a good experience. It started off well: the place was busy but the cashier and kitchen staff were working hard and took my order quickly and efficiently. But, as you can see in the attached picture, I received a large bowl with basically no chicken in it. Now, I understand that advertisement and reality are not the same. The advertisements plastered all over the store show a bowl covered on top with grilled chicken. Appetizing. The reality is pretty far from that. All total, I managed to find 8-10 small pieces of chicken, probably less than a 10 piece nugget at McDonald's. So, I was left with a giant bowl of noodles and veggies. Which, again, isn't terrible in it of itself except that it was mostly cooking liquid at the bottom. And I didn't order mostly noodles. I ordered chicken teriyaki. This was also prohibitively expensive. This bowl plus 4 crab rangoons was $21. Too much even if it was brimming with chicken. But searching for what little was there? Terrible. I would advise just going to Panda Express. Their bowls have, at least in my one experience here, about 2-3 times as much protein. And are less expensive. This was very disappointing. I would advise not wasting your money as I did.

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl

Stoped by driving through town to get it to go. I got the teriyaki bowl with white rice and broccoli and it was the best take out food I've gotten in a while! Would recommend!

Great little restaurant. As with ANY new restaurant, everyone wants to check it out, which leads to lines to order your food and time for the staff to prepare your food, but it is TOTALLY worth the wait. They fill half the bowl with steamed or fried rice, the other half is filled with vegetables and your protein is laying on top so that you know how much meat you are getting before you start eating. They have delicious chicken fried dumplings, which they refer to as "potstickers". A Regular bowl will serve me 2 meals. The lids fits on tight to avoid spills and the bowl is microwave safe. So glad they don't use cheap Styrofoam boxes like most take out places. Highly recommend to friends and family.

I didn't think I would like this place, but it surprised me. The menu is small and the place is kinda small too, but it is "worth the wait"....which is what it says on the sign by the ridiculously high menu

I ordered by delivery and it was awfully expensive for the quantity and not good at all.

I found the food too salty, service wasn't bad for a pick up order. I can't speak to the ambiance because I took my order to go.

And of course they had me at poke bowls. It's one of my top 5 things to eat, honestly. But I ordered a Buddha bowl because it's almost the same thing and I felt a little lazy to DIY (not to mention, the Buddha bowl looked tantalizing!) They have other veg options, but I set my sights on that bowl as soon as the friendly counter guy suggested it. It's overloaded with goodness--avocado, deliciously marinated tofu, edamame (yes, it's a protein-rich bowl), tomatoes, shredded carrots, diced cucumbers, greens and more. You're literally devouring the rainbow here, friends. For drinks, they have a modest but decent selection of beer, wine (a decent bubbly in a can!) and sake in addition to soft drinks. The place is so beautiful (and spotlessly clean) with plants dangling from the ceiling and beautiful murals throughout. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be here all the time.

The food was fine and fresh, but nothing outstanding to merit the price. $30 for a small poke bowl…read moreand two bao buns. I'm not sure if I'll be back.

We started with the duck nachos, which were crispy, savory, & layered with flavor. It's a fun twist on traditional nachos and perfect for sharing! For our entrées we both ordered the ribeye, and it was excellent!! Cooked perfectly (medium for me), tender, and full of flavor without needing much extra. You can tell they put care into the quality of the steak. The ambiance really ties the whole experience together. The space has a warm, stylish feel with lighting that creates a cozy but elevated vibe. It felt like the perfect place for a date night or a relaxed but nice dinner out. My God, I thought fine dining had finally died, especially after covid. Current Charcoal Grill is…read morethe first restaurant I've been to in years that still understands and executes on everything that makes eating out enjoyable. The service is *excellent* with a capital "E." We ate at the bar, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about every single aspect of the restaurant. They have tried everything on the menu themselves. They can describe any one of the imported liquors up on the wall. These are real deal professionals who illustrate just how important the people in a restaurant's front truly are. The food? Delicious. It's a wild grab bag of East Asian fare - Chinese, Japanese, Thai - and it's all done extremely well. The portions are small, which is good, since you'll want to try half a dozen things on Current's very deliberately thought-out menu. The Peking Duck is some of the best I've had. The cocktails are also excellent, with my favorite being a delicious, earthy combination of coconut, lime, and pandan. It's like an extremely upscale tiki drink. I cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely perfect. 5 stars.

We went for the "favorites" menu which a $65/person was an absolute steal. You get two starters, dumplings and cured red snapper is what was offered. Two entrees, the bo ssam and banana leaf wrapped redfish, and one dessert, the miso tart. Everything was quite good and more than enough food. The dessert was a real winner. I thought about it days after. Looking forward to going back.
