    Roach

I love China No.1. All of their food tastes pretty fresh and authentic. I just picked up some from them today and half way through my meal, I noticed something crawling. I looked and found a roach crawling in my food and almost threw up. Will not he eating here again.

I really like this restaurant. The food is fresh and fast. I haven't had a complaint about this restaurant in the year I've been here.

Notes: 1) been here once…read more2) lots of parking Pros: 1) good food 2) decent service Cons: 1) ambiance was okay but could be better Rating: 3.5/5 The sizzling rice soup was delicious. The mu shu pork dish was not so congruent. It was not bad but it also was not the best meal that I've had. The service was decent where we would get served well but there was also a lack of people in the establishment. The ambiance also was just lacking overall. Overall: I think it's worth to try it but I would not rush to come here to taste it. Sizzling rice soup: 5/5, I was impressed and amazed. I definitely recommend this dish if you want a soup that is flavorful. Mu shu pork: not worth as it did not blend well together. The filling was too salty and had a lot going on, and the wrapping was out of place. Overall, not a good dish. 1/5

You don't have to worry if you like plum sauce or not cause you're getting it. I opened one of my pre rolled burritos, the filling was thick was the sauce like gummy. In all honesty, I think the filling was just too old and not edible I order the fried add on, the chicken had been reheated several times and was chewy and over cooked. It was the best part of the meal. I had never walked away from a meal before today, and now I have. $23.00 wasted. Did I say something to mgmt? no, I hate conflict. If they should do their own food quality testing.

They had our order done fast and on time. Service overall was good. Unable to comment on the ambiance but the drive thru option is nice and the restaurant didn't look bad from the outside. The food was majority just okay. The best dish is definitely the lo mein. The bao was okay. The twice cooked pork was okay. The beef stirfry was okay. The honey chicken was decently good. It was all relatively just an okay meal. Food ratings: Lo mein: 4.5/5, best dish there. Almost perfect with the seasoning and taste Bao buns: 3/5, pretty common tasting, nothing unique about it Beef stir fry: 3/5, pretty normal tasting, nothing unique about it Honey chicken: 4/5, was pretty good and unique Twice cooked pork: 2/5, tasted okay, not a lot of flavor overall between the meat or the veggies

Portions are large- you certainly won't leave hungry (and will probably have leftovers). The chicken with vegetables needed sweet and sour sauce, but the mandarin chicken was seasoned wonderfully. I ordered a side of fried rice, which is supposed to come with peas and carrots, but there were maybe 2 or 3 peas in the whole dish. The rice leaned on the gummy and sweet side, and it tasted very processed. The yum yum sauce was only .75¢ so I can't complain, but they did not fill it as much as I would've liked. The chicken egg roll was pretty good, but the sweet and sour sauce was very liquidy and I like it with a little more thickness. They only have pepsi products, so plan ahead. They were out of diet pepsi when I came. Not their fault, but it would've been nice to have it. I came during their specials hour so my drink was only .99¢, so I can't complain too much. Wasn't the best experience I've had, but not enough to dock more than two stars. I can at least say I've tried this place.

Young adults working when we were there. They were nice and efficient so the service was fine. They have a white meat chicken options which I liked. A bowl is very filling. Egg rolls are tasty too. Overall a good fast food alternative for Asian. I recommend it over the more popular big name places.

The shrimp and mixed vegetables were spot-on--fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. As for the "spicy" part... well, let's just say if you've been eating hot food as long as I have, you're not breaking a sweat unless there's an actual fire in your mouth. Still, delicious all the same! Now, fair warning--this isn't fine dining. Your meal comes on a plastic disposable plate, and drinks are sold by the bottle. Prices are very reasonable, but if you're hankering for a refill, you'll have to buy another bottle. So sip that water or Pepsi slowly and make it last. The dining area is spotless, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly as always. Sure, there can be a little language barrier now and then, but if this old country boy can figure it out, I promise you can too. So grab your chopsticks (or a fork, no judgment here) and swing by this clean, quiet spot next time you're in the area. China Bob's always delivers a satisfying, no-fuss meal that'll leave you smiling -- and maybe wishing it was just a little spicier.
