It was our first time here and we really enjoyed the food. I ordered a Hawaiian pork bowl which was very delicious. The pork was super tender and falling apart. Driving from SW Ocala, by the new International Horse parks and through horse country, beautiful, green grass, brown fences, sleek horses, colts.... we go to a "food truck". Lots of shade, picnic tables, a resident cat... and the food... awesome! Unfortunately, our group was fairly boring, we all had rice bowls, all different, but no wraps, burgers, sandwiches ... but 7 out of 7 of us would give it a 10! This place was an absolutely an amazing find. We were driving back after a long day snorkeling at Devils Den and spotted the food truck from the road. We took a chance and decided to try it out. I'm so happy we did. The Hawaiian pork bowl and the Mahi bowl were absolutely amazing. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and comes to find out that they are chefs trained at the Culinary institute of America in NY. He told me that he prepares each order himself to ensure quality. Spoke. As a true chef. I can't wait to go back and try more of his dishes. The taste and freshness of his ingredients creates an explosion of flavor in your mouth. Went to Ocala over the Holiday and while cruising up US 27 at the intersection of 326, I spied the Yum Yum Kitchen Food Truck.  I had heard about this rolling gourmet kitchen but to find it semi-permanently parked here, serving food under the oak trees on picnic tables, was a bit of a surprise.  It sits next to a country feed store just north of Ocala in the middle of nowhere. I ordered the Grilled Steak Gyro, 11.50 - sliced rib eye steak served on warm naan bread, Swiss cheese, diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers, diced red onions  topped with a cucumber tzatziki (dill & garlic) sauce.  This sandwich was huge but I ate it all.  This was a marvelous sandwich.  Everything was fresh and prepared perfectly.  The steak was tender and the tzatziki sauce was something special.  My sister had the Yum Yum Smoked Pork Sandwich, also 11.50 - which was smoked pork shoulder seasoned with Cedar Key garlic herb spice and served with black beans and rice, their signature coleslaw and plantains with a squeeze of lime.  She really enjoyed her sandwich, as well, and said it was the best pork sandwich she has ever had.  Said it even beat the Georgia Pig's pork sandwich (you know the Georgia Pig BBQ, out on State Road 7, in West Broward).  It was a beautiful day, so sitting out under the trees on picnic tables was a wonderful way to enjoy this marvelous food.  We finished off this culinary experience with two homemade, freshly baked Chocolate Cupcakes.  OMG!  It is hard to believe that such awesome food comes from a food truck in the woods. read more

My husband and I have never been big food truck fans.... until now. Yum Yum is a stationary food truck/trailer in the heart of Ocala horse country at the corner of Hwy 27 and 326. Picnic tables sit under shady oak trees and JImmy Buffet is being played. ALL of their food is amazing! I have not been disappointed with anything I have ordered. The salads, like their Balck and Blue, has crisp lettuce, sweet tender grilled onions, perfect blue cheese crumbles and juicy steak or grilled Mahi. In the morning they have some egg dishes and huge decadent muffins. Everything is fresh and made in house. It all has just the right amount of grill or spice. The proprietors put a lot of heart and soul into their food! We go here quite often! read more

They were both great with moist steak/or chicken, rice, black Beans and cilantro- very easy to eat. The ingredients they put in the burritos make them fantastic.
