Lovely high end restaurant attached to our hotel. Ambience was amazing. Food was delicious and staff very friendly and attentive. Attention to detail *amazing*

Great restaurant. Beautiful interior. Spacious. Pretty good menu! We sat with Cassidy. Service was stellar. Chef sent out an amuse bouche of whipped goat cheese with a slice of peach. Very nice. Could've used a tiny pistachio on top or something to give it a crunch. Bread service was amazing. That whipped honey butter is heavenly. I enjoyed the buttermilk biscuit and the hubs had a piece of all three breads. I was surprised they brought us 6 pieces! We ended up taking the bread home. We started with the deviled eggs. I love a great deviled egg. This one was fairly traditional and separately needed salt. Cassidy was around quick to bring me salt and pepper shakers. I would not recommend the eggs- they're nothing special. For dinner, I wanted the pasta AND a steak. So I got the cacio e Pepe on their homemade pappardelle and added my husbands choice of protein- 3 to 4 scallops. We ordered the NY Stripling med rare which pretty much comes a la carte so we asked for the broccolini as a side. Steak was cooked perfectly. Small grilled onion and zucchini were great but the real kicker was that roasted garlic bulb. Yum!!! The pasta was a hit. I loved it. My husband did not leave any left over!!!! And they gave us 4 large scallops and only charged us for 3. Woohoo! Great deal. I typically do not care for scallops but I did cut one in half just to test the flavor, freshness, preparation etc and I ended up eating the other half as well. Perfectly salted. A nice thin crust/sear and no hint of fishiness at all. Amazing. We almost skipped dessert but I had seen a pic of the bread pudding so I had to have it. Bread pudding is one of my go to desserts. It was great but I was sad that there were a couple chocolate chips hidden inside the dish. I didn't like that. It was vanilla ice cream and caramel on top; the chocolate did not add anything, but rather, detracted. I could also go for whip cream instead of ice cream, but I know that's just my preference. The ice cream was gone before the bread pudding! We had one round of cocktails at the table. I had the steedbury, which was great. My husband had some tequila neat. I did notice a nice wine cellar but we had already been drinking at their lobby bar and did not want to switch to wine. I was impressed that the table flowers were real. Bathrooms are hotel bathrooms, outside the restaurant and down the hall. Spacious, clean. Overall, good food, great service. Some items could use a little tweak but I think most people would be overwhelmed by the quality and variety of the dishes. We dined on a Wednesday night and did not need a reservation but you may want to place one if you are dining on Friday or Saturday night. I would recommend this place for date night, celebrations, etc. It's really nice.

Exactly what to expect from a fine dining establishment. Service was most excellent! Manny was engaging, answered all our questions regarding the menu, checked with the chef to meet my food allergies and was very conscious about making sure those needs were meet. Shared some of the history about WEC and what's incoming new. Food was wonderful from taste to portions, including presentation. Just a lil noisy.

Pasta carbonara- don't order this.

Good but not great meal last night. Great service, attentive and pleasant staff. Kitchen was way behind, and meats were not cooked to temperature. My Rare/Mid rare filet was mid-well, one of my guests said his lamb was cooked perfectly, but was stone cold. Kitchen took so long for entrees that I didn't mention anything as I wouldn't have eaten 20 minutes+ later. Sides were said to be good to share for 4 people, but they were barely enough for 2. I know it's the only upscale place in town, but it was a birthday for a friend, and definitely didn't feel special.

Awesome dinner at STIRRUPS, located inside the Equestrian Hotel, World Equestrian Center - Ocala. World-class, 5-Star service, ambiance, and delicious food. We had their amazing Tomahawk Steak and several sauces & sides. I highly commend our servers: Gabby & Jackie. They both took very good care of us. Also, greatly appreciate the host/manager, Juan. He made sure we had an excellent dining experience. This amazing steakhouse is our favorite place to dine in Ocala!!!

Thank you so much to the entire WEC team for ALWAYS making the most presentable meals that are so incredible! Chef Yohann made our wedding cake last April when we were married at WEC in the chapel. We love the food at Stirrups and Emma's. The dishes are outstanding and the ingredients are so fresh! For Valentine's Day, the tiramisu that we had on our Wedding Day was recreated. We can't say thank you enough! All of the menu is very aesthetic and a true reflection in the chefs here passionately designing each course.

Well worth eating here. Although it he prices are in some ways a bit high, the portion sizes and quality is unmatched. Service is above par and very very attentive. Food was great with an emphasis on high quality. Ambiance is to be expected at a fine dining restaurant. Very nice restaurant and excellent food. Well worth it here visit

Inside of The World Equestrian Center is Stirrups; an elite steakhouse capturing every attention to detail(even down to the silverware). Definitely has a boutique, country club feel when you enter. Fellas in their Polo shirts, and ladies in sun dresses, cardigans, and designer bags. I'm telling you this so you don't show up in cutoffs and sweatshirts with your sunglasses on your head although they would still probably welcome you because of that good ole Southern hospitality! Anyways, both the food and drinks are lovely. My order wasn't so exciting because I was in the mood for breakfast but it sure was yummy. I'm a sucker for skin on home fries, and who could turn down a chance for cheesy grits? The blueberries for their jam is actually grown on the property and perfect on their homemade biscuits. A tip when ordering breakfast; anything that says it comes with toast is actually more than toast. You have an option of toast but also bagel, biscuit, and I think croissant. I'm kicking myself for not remembering our waitstaff's name but he had only been there for about 6 months and was amazing!! I love anything with that "turn back" service feel. You know, classy atmosphere , silverware placed in the right position, attentiveness, etc. perfect for brunch or nice dinner.

Excellent service. I tried the desert this time. I will try the main entrees hopefully next time. It's definitely a hidden place in the middle of nowhere.

The look inside the restaurant is stunning. Love the decor and all of the white. Beautiful furniture. Very classy and one of a kind. A great view of the outside as well. The serving staff was very professional and attentive. We visited for breakfast and I had the avocado toast and orange juice. Would love to revisit when in town again for dinner.

Oysters- super fresh!

While staying in the area we scoped out two restaurants - one in town and this gem in the World Equestrian Center. Located in the lobby of the hotel this is a fine dining establishment with a warm and friendly staff. The space is beautiful and offers some outdoor dining weather permitting. The menu is similar to a traditional steakhouse but offers a wider range of dishes. The wine list is expansive, albeit a bit pricey, but if you are staying in the hotel price is not your priority. I loved how the list was compiled and offered both 6oz and 9oz pours BTG. We brought a wine, corkage $40, and got yo meet one of the somms, Selvyn, who did a great job and spent time chatting with us. We were seated by Miranda, whose twin Melanie took our reservation a few days prior. They kicked off a wonderful dinner. Oysters were super fresh and the house sauce was delicious. Crab beignets were light, flavor snd had just the right amount of heat. Paired perfectly with our BTG white wine For entrees we went with the Summer Corn ravioli topped with applewood smoked eggplant - my wife loved it!! I ran with the Beef Tenderloin and we gluttonessly chose the lobster mac & cheese for a side. Excellent! Our server Haley was friendly, efficient and attentive all evening. Absolutely excellent, we will be back anytime we are in Ocala!

The food was good. The deviled eggs were pretty great and the large lobster tail along with the dessert was spectacular. The service was unparalleled... The steak was decent but the truffle pasta was a little bit of a disappointment though. It was ok ... Lacked flavor and needed more sauce in my opinion. Was awesome getting a fresh truffle shaved over the top though. We will come back but we will definitely order something different next time. I have it 4 stars because of some of the food and that impeccable service.

Celebrating one's mother properly can sometimes be difficult to do, and I wanted everything to feel thoughtful, elegant, and memorable. Steve, the manager, played an important role in making that happen, and I remain sincerely grateful for his kindness and attention to detail. Although our party was only three, we were given a beautiful table in the back that felt private, comfortable, and perfectly suited for the evening. We still enjoyed the lively energy from the nearby bar while having a quieter space of our own to celebrate. It struck the ideal balance between atmosphere and intimacy. Hailey was our primary server and was training George that evening, which meant we benefited from the care of two attentive and friendly servers. Service moved smoothly throughout the night and never felt rushed. The food was, for the most part, delicious, with steaks and dishes that reflected the restaurant's reputation for quality. There was one minor issue with my own steak, which had more butter than I would have preferred, but it was far too small a matter to overshadow the purpose of the night. What mattered most was seeing my mother genuinely happy and enjoying herself. That meant the world to me, and to her as well. My thanks to Steve, Hailey, George, and the Remington's team for helping create a birthday celebration I will remember with gratitude... and so will my mother.

I think the food was superior and the staff was great behind the bar. I do love the decor as it is very much equestrian in a classy way. As for the waitstaff in the restaurant, a bit more training on the menu might be advised. When asking for a recommendation I was recited the entire menu. Really??? The host was less than personable. This is the first and usually the last person to greet and thank their customers. Neither occurred when I was there. I have been there three times. I plan on going back again. I hope this time they will have beer for my brother as that is all he drinks. Maybe some local or specialty ones. The noise level was high all three times I was there. That can only be helped by doing something with the acoustics and adding sound dampeners. I look forward to giving them another try. I am hoping the host station will improve as well as the training of the waitstaff. I hope they are around for a long time and I wish them much luck.

The only thing that earned this review its stars was the food itself. Me and my hubby booked a table for date night. We had high hopes as we love Brazilian steakhouses! Never had heard of this one, Exciting! When we arrived at 8, an hr before closing; we didn't have a long wait. We travel with a portable high chair as we prefer not to use in house ones. Noted in our reservation. As always, we place it on the table in a safe location as it is most beneficial for stability and functionality. The host came rushing back insisting that we needed to remove the chair as it puts our child in danger of the knife's that would be coming around, per the manager. It must be placed in a chair. I'm not one to swim against the current, so we tried to comply, however, this statement was obvious that it was a plain LIE. Truth be told, it "hurt the appearance" of the finer dining atmosphere. If the staff member would have just mentioned that nicely, we absolutely would have understood. But that did not happen. It was as if she was saying, "move it or leave". The biggest issue with moving it really came down to the round chairs. A square seat is not easily attach to its opposite shape. Leaving the seat and my baby in an unsafe and compromising position. Which in return, left my hubby sitting sideways the entire meal in an uncomfortable position. Using his leg to balance the chair to stay in place. (Swapping seats each time one of us needed to get up) During this time, our server came by to ask for drinks and we almost never saw her again. Both straws were cracked from top to bottom. We flipped our card over to begin meat service, though we were not noticed. After flagging one down, We kindly asked her to find our server for us. This came with a disgruntled face. She left before serving us, and the meat that she had never came back around again. This happened more than once. The first meat I received was the lamb chop. Just one left on the skewer. I took this one knowing more would follow. I WAS WRONG! We sat by the window where you could see the meat cooking and there were less than 10 skewers. The chicken lollipops and the bottom sirloin were fabulous. The flavor and tenderness were 10/10. But would never be seen again.. Pork once; at the very end. Overcooked and dry. Same with the bacon wrapped filet and the picanha. Never saw filet, sausage or any other meat that was listed on the menu. We had to ask for more meat to be brought to us and what we received had been cooked to death. The hot and cold salad bar options were great! Once our server was finally tracked down, we asked for refills on our beverages and working straws, though no luck on the straws. They were all broken. It even cut my tongue. I requested she bring my husband two glasses of his drink this time, because he is a fast drinker, and we weren't sure when we would see her again. Thank goodness I did; Because he would have never had another drink if it wasn't for that... Before we had even finished eating, she brought the bill. We ignored it and continued our conversation, but sometime minutes later she retrieved the bill that was not yet ready. Moments later, she came rushing back frantic that she had lost our card... Finally after all this, I gave her with the card before I even had looked over the bill. The bill was higher than any steakhouse we've visited like it. Despite having the worst service. We ordered nothing other than a fountain drink each with our meal. We STILL left a large gratuity knowing tips are shared. Side note, no plates have been picked up, and are stacked up to the side... I wanted a ToGo drink, but once our bill had been rendered. We never saw our server again. I flagged down another staff member and made the request to them, (Usw tea) and was served a Sw tea. I am unable to have sugar and this was a shock when I took a sip. I immediately notified her of the mistake, not even 10 seconds after it being delivered, and she went to correct it. She came right back to tell me that the tea had been dumped for the night. WE ARE STILL EATING AND THERE ARE MULTIPLE TABLES EATING AROUND US IN THE DINING ROOM! I genuinely do not understand how this is allowed! The clock strikes closing and you treat your guests like they've overstayed their welcome?? Revoking their beverages and not cooking/providing the meat that your customers come to eat their fill of?! At this point we are seriously turned off! After leaving..OUR SERVER..the one who vanished after bringing our bill in the middle of dinner...is outside on the phone waiting for her ride. No wonder we never saw her again! She was going home! The amount of Unprofessionalism is off the charts! If it truly was a "finer dining experience"The standard of service needs immense improvement!

I was with my in-laws, and we were looking for a place to eat dinner in downtown while waiting for some other family to join us. It seems like on Mondays, there is not a ton open in the downtown Ocala area in terms of restaurants. This makes sense, but we chose to eat here primarily because it was open on a Monday, along with recommendations from those I was with. They had eaten here before, but it was my first time. The restaurant is located on a corner in downtown Ocala, near the square. Since it is in the city, there is no dedicated parking beyond what you find on the street. However, I have never had an issue finding parking in the general area when visiting this part of town, so unless it is a crowded evening or special event, you should have no issues. When we arrived, it was still early in the evening and we had no issue getting a table. As the night progressed, more people started coming in for their Bachelor viewing party. It seems like this draws a big crowd. They even announced that they were doing giveaways and other fun activities for the series season finale the following week. I imagine they hold other types of events as well, so that might be something to look out for if you are planning on stopping. We sat at a table near the front, and waited a couple minutes for the server to come by. She was, honestly, somewhat aggressive and not very kind. I tried to order a beer on the menu, and she went to make sure it wasn't out of stock. Then, I asked her about the Monday special on the menu, and she acted like she never even heard of it before. She stated that she didn't normally work on Mondays, but the manner in which this was communicated made it feel like it was my fault for inquiring about this. I ended up having a Garage Beer on tap, and it was serviceable. I also wanted to order the advertised $10 Grilled Cheese and Fries special, and got the D-Nice Way Grilled Cheese with this. I actually very much enjoyed the grilled cheese, but the fries were the star of the plate. They were crispy and crunchy, but not very thin. I had never had a fry quite like that! Would highly recommend giving them a try here at least once. Our food came out in a reasonable timeframe after we ordered. It was not too quick, but did not take forever, either. Besides what I mentioned previously, I was satisfied with the other service received. I thought the prices here, in general, were fair and on par with other restaurants that are similar. They run different specials during different days of the week, as outlined on the menu. For example, Monday is supposed to be $10 Grilled Cheese and Fries. I ordered this, but I am not confident I got it for this price. Someone I was with paid the bill, but the waitress did not seem to be aware of what this special actually was. So, if you are wanting to order a special, I would explicitly say that when ordering to be sure you get it. Overall, I enjoyed the vibes and the food at this place. It seems like they have activities several nights a week to bring in different crowds, along with specials on food and drinks. The service left a lot to be desired, as our waitress was not very friendly nor knowledgeable on the specials. I would be willing to give this another try, but hopefully with a different waitress.

This was my first visit! First of all, the bread... omg. It was so snugly soft and warm. I loved it. We also ordered the wings and I really enjoyed them. I believe they were baked, which is a plus for me because it made me feel a little guilt-free. Lol. They also have $6.49 margaritas all day, so you already know I had to grab one. And let me tell you... the bartender was NOT stingy with the liquor. My kind of bartender! For dinner, my mom ordered the ribs with a baked potato and broccoli. Mommy was reluctant to irder the ribs because she's so picky about her ribs but she sid not regret it. She loved them I got the Parmesan crusted ribeye with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious. The ribeye itself was tender perfection. The Parmesan crust had great flavor, although I will say if you get too much of it in one bite it can lean a little salty. Still very good overall. My husband ordered the Parmesan crusted chivken with a sweet potato and fries, and he had no complaints either. To top it off, I ordered the strawberry cheesecake (my mom's favorite) and it was so good. Now let me talk about our waitress. She was phenomenal! A ball of positive energy the entire time. She even had the most beautiful singing voice! I hate that I can't remember her name, but she absolutely deserves a raise. She was thoughtful, attentive, and honestly the bonus that made our overall experience even better. Overall, we had a great experience and no complaints at all. I'll definitely be back! Parking right in the front of the restaurant was a bit tight because it was a busy Friday night but there's parking surrounding the restaurant was since it shares a lot with some stores. Btw... the waitress told me that even though the menu doesn't say "Parmesan crusted" you can ask and they can basically add it to anything

I was in the area with a friend and his daughter. We visited Silver Springs and were ready for…read morelunch. His daughter said she wanted a burger and we found this spot. There are a few tables outside, right by the door. There are signs that make it clear they are non smoking tables. We decided to eat inside, were seated right away and our server came quickly. She told us what some of the popular burgers were and we made our selections based on that. I had the Jamaican burger cooked medium. This burger was cooked perfectly, had good flavor, was topped with a sweet and spicy jerk sauce. It was everything that I expected. My friend had the Brie burger and his daughter had the smash burger and they both said those burgers were very good as well. Our server was attentive to our needs throughout our meal. I would definitely go back again.

We showed up tonight to celebrate my birthday (today), my hubby's (Monday) and our daughter in…read morelaw's (this past Thursday). Couldn't think of a better place to eat, drink and be merry at! Tonight was "trivia night", which, while we didn't play, we did enjoy trying to guess the answers. Our grand daughter's face was a big "O" of amazement when realizing the upper tables were enjoying roasting their marshmallows at their table...when she was told they were making s'mores...she went nuts! She's so excited to get tableside s'mores! My wings were even better than they were last time since there was an addition of seasonings sprinkled on them along with the dill pickles, but unfortunately, our cheeseburger pizza suffered from not having enough mustard and ketchup base to it, the tomatoes were enormous chunks and so were red onions. It made it very difficult to eat without things falling all over your clothing since they were such huge chunks on top of the tiny pieces of pizza. My husband got the steak bomb sub, son got a pepperoni Stromboli, daughter in law got the Sharon's Brie burger, grand daughter the child's cheeseburger and fries. Our apps were the garlic knots, mild wings (10) and fried cheese curds with sriracha ranch dipping sauce. Everything was okay, except that it took forever for everything to come out, compared to our first visit. Even our s'mores seemed to take forever. The quickest part of the whole visit was the bill . The fella that waited on us the first time was on point. Not saying that the young lady waiting on us was rude or anything, but I think she was trying to do too many things at once and some things just fell by the wayside. Last visit we came in on a Saturday as well, but perhaps some people are just better at multitasking? I don't know. This time, our bill was over $200 with tip, but we still brought home food again. Not a lot compared to the last time, only 2 little pickle wings (I still can't get enough of those darn things!) and maybe 4 slices of pizza. My husband's loaded tots weren't to his liking, so there's something even for the dog tomorrow We may stay away for awhile and see if they manage to work out some kinks. If anything, the best rule is consistency. If the food preparation is not consistent every time you go to eat there, there's a problem. There should be NO deviation just because someone else is cooking it. All recipes should be the same. Twice we've ordered the same items and they've been different. I still recommend this place for great vibes, cocktails, food and the tableside s'mores. There's just nowhere else like it!
