The place has the industrial aesthetic which we really liked. Before ordering at the counter, the staff let us know there will be about a 50-minute wait. We were fine with it since we weren't in a rush or super hungry yet. So we were pleasantly surprised that our food actually came out much sooner than expected. It felt like a normal wait time you would expect at a sit down restaurant. My son had chicken nuggets and fries, my husband had chicken and waffles with a vanilla frappe, and I had the chorizo con huevo and a michelada. The food was warm and delicious, and it's like they were all made fresh. Portions were also big, so we had leftovers to take home. I thought the prices were a good value for how much food you get. The only thing we thought was overpriced was the $10 large frappe but we will just get something else next time lol. Service was great and the two ladies that helped us were lovely and friendly. They do mention on their website that food can take longer during busy times since it's made fresh, so come with patience. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

We even spoke with the manager, who explained that the employees need to leave exactly at 11 PM, so they stop serving everything in-house before closing time. If the café is technically open until 11 PM but customers can't actually dine in during the last hour, that should be clearly communicated on Yelp and to customers before they come in. We came specifically to sit down and enjoy crepes with our friends, so being told everything had to go in a to-go box was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Yesterday I spent the day at the beach with my friend and on our way to drop her off we stopped here for a quick bite, tired and sun burned we just needed something. We came in and the person behind the counter was taking care of an American customer. Then it was our turn and I ordered a extreme melt and when my friend asked for a Turkey bacon sandwich, he looked at her and said " I dont speak Spanish " my friend thought he was playing so she laughed and he walked away.. we sat down waiting for our food but then he yelled across the room, "so what do you want? " we both got up and said, she wants a Turkey sandwich, (this time in Spanish) we tried to joke with him , we just wanted our food. After paying for our food I asked him in a low tone of voice and in Spanish " why are you so agressive? He said, I am not, I said yes you are. What's your problem? He said, well I can see the sign on your forehead of where you are from and you dont want to speak Spanish... I said , you know what. You need to be more professional and treat people with respect, you are not doing me a favor, I am a paying customer and if I want to speak English then that's what I'll do, you do not own this establishment so you can not make your own rules. On all this he kept talking over me saying gibberish and other customer witnesses hes behavior... I had never experienced racism from my own race, specifically at a public place.. he was rude and he felt comfortable acting this way so I am sure he has done this before... Came in one nite to fulfill my sister-in-law pregnancy cravings. Bad place to come by late nite. The guy acted like he didnt want to work there. The display of donuts looked like they were packaged and then put back into the display.
