Everything very good. Exceptionally CLEAN. Menu is much like any other mom and pops donut shop. Place was buzzing with patrons and the service line moving rapidly. Seems they have a lot of regulars. Happy place. It was a Wednesday morning about 10:20am. Stumbled upon this place by complete accident. Not from the area but was in the area for business. My client was running late and thus we took a drive to the nearest MCDonalds hoping for a quick breakfast and coffee... Their drive thru line was insane and this is how I found Jolly donuts. The plaza is busy. But there was parking. I can see why this place got all good stars on Yelp. Staff is quite helpful and friendly and very efficient even during a rush. We ordered two breakfast bagels and a couple of donuts and coffees. Everything was great. My client had the buttermilk donut and said it was the best she had ever had ever! She nearly 80 yrs old, so that's saying a lot! If I'm ever back in the area, I know where to stop and grab a breakfast bite. P.s. Coffee was meh. It's coffee. They give it black and hand you artificial creamer and others.. The vibes, service and food were top notch and are worth the return. read more

Little gem in the heart of the east side of the city. Been coming here for over 20 years, summer days at the Boys & Girls Club weren't complete without a trip to Jolly Donuts. A lemon donut & a round of Street Fighter, got no better than that.... It's been a while since we've visited, stopped by earlier tonight to satisfy the wifeys sweet tooth. Plenty of parking in the lot, we walked in to a bunch of kids getting ice cream scoops ($1.50/scoop). Perfect! gave me an opportunity to snap some pictures. We ended up going with a dozen, have to say, I was a little disappointed on the variety. Could've been cause they were closing, couldn't find business hours on here so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I'll be sure to visit during earlier hours next time and update my review. We also went with a scoop of Mint Chip Ice cream. So good.... Customer service is always great, another reviewer mentioned this is a family ran business. The food is always very delicious. The prices are fair and you don't overpay. Customer service is fast, reliable, friendly, and humble owners. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed and they take your order quickly. Ambiance is great. It's always clean, everything is always neatly organized, and stocked. Love going here before my morning class. Fresh baked donuts and the sweet smell of brewed coffee is the best way to wake yourself up. However they just don't server amazing donuts but also provided a great selection of drinks and pastries. There classic spread of donuts fill the shop with the pleasant aroma of sugar glaze, chocolate, or caramel. The prices are fair but the quality of the donuts are amazing. The donuts are light and fluffy. My favorite order is a frozen lemonade or a taro boba smoothie. The taro smoothie alone is spectacular. Pastel purple color of the taro root can't describe the sweet taste of chocolate. The smoothie is at the perfect consistency of mashed ice to juice mixture. Overall all there smoothie are absolutely perfect. The shop is quiet and provides a peaceful environment. There's a lot nice natural lights in the shop and fresh cooling AC, makes it a great place for a small lunch in with friends. The tables are are good distance from each other and help provide a comfort environment. Parking is limited but not terrible either. You could park on either side of the shop. The staff is friendly but don't seem to keep the table clean for when new costumes come in. This could be because it was empty and they didn't have as many customers they usually do. read more

I'll put it this way, I have never had a bad donut in the 8 years that I have been coming here. That should tell you this place has great donuts and the people that own it are great! One time I left my keys in my car and one of the lady's let me use the phone to call AAA. She didn't make a fuss about it, was very, very helpful and gave me the phone when they had called to tell me they were in they way. I just started doing reviews, so I felt the need to give them a 5 star to let anyone know that they should come here to try their donuts or shakes. the donuts are good but their service is kinda tricky mean. let me explain... if i want 4 chocolate bars then give me 4 chocolate bars!, not caramel bars!!!. they've done this to a lot of people i know. whatever jolly donuts have a lot of is what you gonna secretly get when you arrive home, sadly. people have been so upset about this that they stop going. if u just want 1 donut than jolly donut is great, but if you have a big order, like for your co-workers donuts list or a family dozen box, than they get an attitude because you will kinda wipe there donuts out. they hate when you get a same donut 3 times. what is the difference if u will make the same money! and that's when they start to trick you with same color donuts to save space and get rid of the donuts no one wants. always check your order! plus its cash only. read more
