They sent the progressive lenses out, and did not complete the order that I had purchased: [no border frame color]. In addition, they assured me that the Silhouette lenses would be identical to the ones I purchased elsewhere, but the new lenses did not have the same coatings. Finally, when I picked the new glasses up, the woman who did the adjustment bent the frames unevenly. She obviously did not know what she was doing. I needed to go to a different optometry shop to get them fixed. I will never buy glasses from this shop again.

The optician, Glynis, was exceptional - went above & beyond to make sure the Rx was correct for my mothers changing vision while also making my mother feel good & have a pleasant experience. I've struggled with contacts, changing prescriptions, and chronic dry eye, and her treatment has helped me so much (better quality contacts, special drops for a couple weeks, and thorough exams for accurate diagnoses and prescriptions). I've always come to Lickteig as an adult (previously the one in Natick) and have always found my experiences much better than anywhere else I've gone growing up! Plus the yearly optomaps are great to have for acute detection of any health risks or eye concerns. When I visited a few months ago for bad dry eye (successfully treated!), Dylanee (?) was so friendly and helpful at reception. Last weekend I went for annual exam for my contacts & glasses, and the receptionist was so efficient and friendly (girl with clear glasses and black hair). My mother booked an appointment with the other receptionist, and was really pleased with her service and is excited to visit.

I compared my Lunette glasses to another pair I got at the same time from a well-known chain. The vision quality of the Lunette glasses is by far superior (same prescription). The Lunette frames are also lighter and more comfortable. The staff in Dedham were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. From now on, I will get all my glasses from Lunette!

The manager told me I would have to wait for the person to come in and fix them. I let him know I had to be someplace by 10:30, it was 9:50. He told me the employee would be to work by 10. Not sure why he couldn't fix them as he was just sitting and scrolling on his phone. At 10:05 I got up and said I couldn't wait any longer, he said ok, bye. I will never use Lens Crafters again! My family and I have been long-time customers of the Dedham, MA location of Lens Crafters for our…read moreeyewear needs and they've generally provided good customer service but today's experience was a nightmare. I brought in a new pair of new frames whose lenses I wanted changed and asked the representative Ada if that is something that's easy to do. She took the frames and started to push on one of the lenses to push it from the frame but her hand was at such an angle that the outward pressure against the inside of the arm broke it off. I asked Ada what she could do to make it right, and she said she would glue the arm back on but that it wouldn't last. When I then appealed to the male store manager on duty to ask what recourse I have given what just happened, which he witnessed, he said switching out lenses is a courtesy service and if something goes wrong it's not their responsibility. He also said LensCrafters does not glue pieces back together, yet that was right after Ada had glued the arm back on. Ada accepted no responsibility for mishandling the frames and breaking the arm. I was sick to my stomach because the frames cost $650, but I kept my cool and calmly asked her if she and the manager understood why I'm upset that I brought in new frames with a question and was now leaving with broken ones that won't last, and Ada said "Don't ever come back to the store again." It was an insult on top of injury, and now I'm going back and forth with Lens Crafter corporate to try and have them replaced

I just walked out of this appointment and feel so much better! I called around looking for a…read moresame-day appointment because I woke up with these horribly irritating bubbles on the inside of my lids. I'm not one to panic, but these are my eyes! And I only get two, so I really wanted to see someone ASAP. She got me in this afternoon and was both thorough and wonderfully easy going. She took my mild hysteria and put the kibosh on it with some clear explanations, common sense and a simple starting point - hot compresses, they were only clogged oil pores. Not wanting me to waste the time away from work, she did a full eye exam as well, helped me understand why I was grumpy with my new glasses (an astigmatism that had never been accounted for) and went over how my particular astigmatism could be difficult to work with (it's on the oblique). Basically, she was easy to deal with and I left satisfied and in a much better mood. The little optical shop she's located in, Pirelli's, seemed pretty cool too!
