He does an excellent job explaining how eye health affects the rest of your body, and he's always sure to make sure I understand in layman's terms what he's saying. I also followed Dr. Smith from his LensCrafters location to here. He's an amazing eye doctor, very scientific but also has a GREAT bedside manner. Your parking is validated so if you park in the lot under their building it's FREE (90 minutes or less). You can book an appointment ONLINE with ZocDoc.com, which is AMAZING. And at the end of my appointment they asked if I'd like to buy new contact lenses, and I said yes. They looked at my insurance plan and gave me one total amount to pay for a year's supply of 2-week contact lenses, plus the eye exam. They took care of all the insurance paperwork. I gave them one check and got contact lenses delivered *straight* to my house. read more

My doctor who I usually see us Bao-Kim Nguyen. She is caring, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. The fact that the office validates for 90 minutes in the Whole Foods parking lot is very convenient as well. I've been visiting this office for several years and wouldn't consider changing. The only time I had an issue was when I went to get my eyes measured so I could order glasses from Warby Parker. The woman who happened to be working there that night was extremely rude about it and almost wouldn't help me. Fortunately I haven't seen her since. read more

I love Dr. Kublin and Pro-Optical. The office is very convenient to me and the staff and doctors are all very pleasant and approachable. I feel they take the extra steps to make sure my experience is good. They have all the high end testing gear including imaging to monitor eye health. ProOptical is a wonderful optometry office that I would definitely reccomend. It is very easy to schedule an appointment there, Dr. Nguyen and the staff are always very thorough and informative. I have been going there for 3 years and have always been happy with my experience. I would say the only drawback would be that the glasses selection leaves something to be desired. Went there a few months backs for a yearly check up and was seen by a different eye Dr. Dr. Bao-Kim. Very friendly, wicked smart and knowledgeable and the exam went by quick. I wanted to order 2 new pairs of glasses. Went to the glasses area and asked the lady who was working there exactly the kind of glasses i wanted. I wanted glasses with bigger lenses and with style. She recommended Persol. Since I don't keep up with eye fashion i assume they must be nice they were pricey but they fit my description to a T. I recently had my first visit to Pro Optical and Dr. Kublin. I would give Dr. Kublin and the examination five stars, however I would give the frame selection process and staff two stars. If you're the type of person that is content with making an arbitrary frame purchase decision based on what is on the shelf, you should be fine. If you're the type of person that likes to look at many options, compare, and make the best informed decision possible, then I recommend you go elsewhere or purchase online. Specifically, there were a few huge-name brands I was interested in learning more about. While Pro Optical carried these brands, the office had no product literature (paper or electronic) to peruse the brands' product offerings. The only option was to look at the few examples they had on their shelves. They did not have a way to adequately browse options online, nor were they even aware you could go to the manufacturers' websites to look at their products. I ended up going elsewhere, immediately had the ability to survey all the options for the brands of interest, and made an informed purchase that I am very happy with. read more

I've been going to see Dr. Kublin for 12 years. I would never consider going anywhere else. The service is excellent and the doctors are great. Plus, they use the latest technology so I don't have to get my eyes dilated. They have a good mix of high-end and affordable frames and are willing to work with you to pick them, no matter what your budget is. They also validate parking up to 90 minutes so it costs me nothing extra to continue to go to Dr. Kublin, even though I no longer live in the city. read more

Great service! I was very pleased. They have very friendly staff and I really enjoyed being seen by Dr. Bao-Kim Nguyen. She really took the time to talk to me and listen to my vision concerns. Dr. Kublin and his staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to use both my vision insurance and my medical insurance to cover almost all of my costs, and they didn't try to upsell me on anything. In fact, Dr. Kublin was quick to point out that I didn't need new contacts, and that I could probably get by with my existing eyeglass prescription. The staff was very helpful in finding frames that fit my face. Booking online through ZocDoc was easy, and offering the opportunity to fill out forms online ahead of time is a huge time-saver.
