I noticed this a few days after the purchase. After four return visits to the store - and multiple different Associates, the photos are gone - forever. ( It is a running joke in the industry that Google avoids customer contact, and their web site is of no value as well. ) Bottom line, DO NOT purchase Google device - particularly phones - as there simply is not customer assistance available. And be very, very cautious in purchasing any new phone at the Riverhead store, and if you do, do not leave the store without a complete and detailed review of your new phone. I did not and after several visits to Best Buy - Geek Squad - I learned that the data transfer was likely done incorrectly.

I had gotten my Dad a new phone through AT & T (online) and they told me I could trade in his old phone to get $350 off. I said great! They told me I could just drop off at a local AT & T store. I went to Southampton, walked in AT&T Grouchy girl: how can I help you? Me: Hi! I just dropping off my trade in phone AT & T GG: Did you get the new phone here or by phone? Me: Online AT & T GG: Well, if you drop it off here, we can't guarantee we can give you what they said they were going to give you Me: OK? They told me to drop it off here and you would send it to them. AT & T GG: Well, we can only give you like $350 Me: oh that's ok, that's what they told me too AT & T GG: But you will probably only get $125 Me: ummm what? You just said $350 AT& T GG: You didn't get the new phone through us Me: I got it through AT & T. You are an AT & T store AT&T GG: we are all owned separately Me: Whatever, just take the phone and I'll deal with AT & T online if there's a discrepancy AT & T GG: No, then we can get in trouble Me: What? Just take the phone AT & T GG: No, now I'm not taking it Me: are you kidding me? AT & T GG: the manager will be here tomorrow if you want to come back but he will tell you the same thing Me: OK. AT & T sucks and I walk out Called AT & T and they were in disbelief that interaction happened. They are sending me a label to send the phone back by UPS. Gave me National retail store number to file a formal complaint which I happily did. Again, the rep was mortified they treated a customer this way (let alone a customer of 20 years).
