I noticed this a few days after the purchase. After four return visits to the store - and multiple different Associates, the photos are gone - forever. I tried to engage Google for assitance and, Google help is simply not available to consumers. ( It is a running joke in the industry that Google avoids customer contact, and their web site is of no value as well. ) Bottom line, DO NOT purchase Google device - particularly phones - as there simply is not customer assistance available. And be very, very cautious in purchasing any new phone at the Riverhead store, and if you do, do not leave the store without a complete and detailed review of your new phone. I did not and after several visits to Best Buy - Geek Squad - I learned that the data transfer was likely done incorrectly.

I felt like the service seemed not very genuine just because it was so professional it was fake as opposed to just greeting me like a real human "welcome to verizon wireless, that you for chosing us today, what can I help you with" uhh hey what's up? Besides that it took about 20 minutes for someone to help me but there were plenty of people walking around asking if I had been signed in yet but no one actually to assist. When I finally got tended to the sales person I dealt with was intelligent and informative however he was obviously selling a sales pitch and I really just wanted a cut and dry response to my question but I understand that's part of their job. Ultimately I walked out happy & the proud owner of a new phone... an HOUR AND A HALF later.

I went in to replace the tempered glass on my iPhone bc there was a huge scratch along the face. Avi(?) the store Manager replaced the glass & I noticed a bubble underneath. (Ugh!) I mentioned it. He said it was on the edge & should work itself out. I said OK & was on my way. I was in a bit of a rush bc I was dropping my car off at Firestone & didn't want my ride home to be waiting. Unfortunately when I got home, I saw that there was a white speck under the glass that I couldn't remove AND my cell phone case was broken. (Wasaahhhhh!) I called Verizon & was told to come in. This very sweet man replaced both my glass & my cell phone case!!! (Whew!) When all is said & done he not only put the customer's needs first, he didn't make me feel bad about it & I left with a phone that is now in much better condition than it was when I first got there. Had cancelled the TV and landline well over 5 years ago along with so many others that use cell phones only and select streaming services as an option tv. Found optimum added a landline charge of $20 (plus taxes) for well over 2 years. Im still trying to get a statement history of at least 3 years, but that can only be by visiting a store. And additionally, is the only way I can submit a review and request for a credit which has grown to well over $600). I went to the Islandia location where (one employee) was servicing a line of approx 20 customers; most of which were walking out the door as frustrated as I was. I will try one more time or just let them send their in house atty to small claims court. At least someone may show up there, because God knows staffing at the optimum location is subpar. No more monopoly for optimum services in my area anymore... Thank you Jesus! I have a choice.

Then the technician said he could fix my phone for $150, which I agreed to. However, after the repair was done and I had already paid, he told me that he actually used the screen I brought from home. This was never communicated beforehand. If I had known he was going to use my own part, I would not have agreed to pay that price. I feel misled and overcharged. The lack of transparency is not acceptable. Make sure you clearly confirm what parts are being used and what you're paying for before agreeing to anything here.
