Went to pick up an order of a new iPhone i placed from my Verizon account as an authorized user/account manager. But was given a hard time upon pickup by an employee named Jeff at this Medford location. Once he saw my name wasn't showing up on my account he stood up, put my order back, and proceeded to help the next customer. Even when i was trying to verify with Verizon, showing him my name is down as an authorized user he still dismissed me and rudely told me to ask a different representative in the store to help me because he wouldn't give me the phone. Rather than trying to check my account again, refresh the page and offer to help or show any kind of patience he quickly dismissed me left me to figure it out on my own. Only until another Verizon rep Rolisa came to help me as she over heard the situation and even apologized to me for how Jeff spoke to me and how he treated me. Rolisa quickly and easily refreshed my account, saw my name was in fact present on my account and efficiently assisted me to my pick up order and new phone. I greatly appreciate Rolisa's help but i am deeply disappointed in how Jeff treated me in front of other customers and his own coworkers. I've never had a bad experience with Verizon customer service, my family has used Verizon for 20+ years for phone internet etc. so this encounter was quite uncalled for and shocking to me. I have already submitted a formal complaint to Verizon corporate. read more

I had brought a very old phone in and was helped by Eddie. He was extremely helpful in getting me set up with a new phone and transferring all my photos and information from my old one to the new. It did take a couple of hours because I had so many pictures but in the end he made everything seamless. read more

I bought a new phone at the Smithhaven Mall yesterday and they didn't help me set it up. I was sent home to do it myself. I had trouble so I went to the Verizon store near my house. I spoke with Matt Forman who finished up setting the phone up. A little while later I realized that the phone didn't have a port for the auxiliary cord so back I went and he sold me the proper cord. I went outside and tried it in my car but it wouldn't play through the speakers. Back inside for the third time. Mr. Forman was so helpful and so kind. Horrible there, DON'T GO THERE. They are NOT A CORPARATE STORE! They will try to sell you stuff you don't need! Wanted to return a phone case/cover they sold me which I was able to get a better one online for more than half the price. I was told I had 30 days to return the accessories I purchased there! when I brought it back I told them I bought this less than 30 days ago and they wouldn't refund me saying it's only 15 days!!! The person who did my phone upgrade and accessories purchase was there and lied right to my face!! after all that the idiots finally realized it was exactly 15 days at this point of my returning it and had to refund me! LOL. Also this idiot never applied the discount code for the upgrade!! so I didn't get the 400$ off the phone!! Had to call Verizon the get in straitened out! Thank God I saved the email I got from Verizon when they were offering this discount at the time, other wise Verizon would not have been able to apply it now!!!!! Franchise Verizon stores like this one are always looking to get you to spend money there because they make money on everything they sell, where as a corporate store you'll receive a more professionalized treatment and they won't screw things up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Went to purchase a new phone today. Young woman who waited on us asked for my old phone, took it and in attempting to remove the case, broke it. She didn't ask permission to remove the case and after breaking it, said nothing. When we pointed out the fact that the case was broken by her, she said it was an old case, they didn't have one like it in stock and offered to, "Tape it closed" as if this was a reasonable thing to do. We left, really angered and she followed up shortly with a phone call saying we should come back, purchase a new phone and they would give us a free case. I think not...awful service, limited product choice and extraordinary poor customer service. read more
