They got back to my super fast and said to come on it to see what they can do. Well, come on in I did and one day later, it was fixed! I was astonished how fast they got it done. They even transferred all my data to a brand new and more robust drive that I sent over to them via next day Prime shipping on Amazon. The prices were reasonable considering the turn around time and the amount of data (nearly 1TB). I'm super glad that small, independent shops like this are still around! It took him about 6 months and $600, a bit over his estimate, but It was worth the wait. One channel failed within a few days, but Steve patiently took it apart again and repaired it at no charge. The amplifier runs significantly cooler and sounds amazing. You must know that Steve and his colleague are a very small shop doing a lot of different electronic repairs to stay afloat. If you want to send your gear to them, please be patient and work with them. This may mean calling every month or two to follow up. But to find someone who knows what they are doing and care about making great tech keep going, he is worth his weight in gold.
