These guys are exactly who you wish every small tech/repair center was like. They've fixed my wife's broken iPhone screen in 45 minutes and they tried to fix my non responsive screen by replacing it (also in 30 mins while I waited). It turns out the replacement screen didn't fix my problem and it seems that a chip on the motherboard is the culprit. So they re-installed the original screen and refunded my money no questions asked. Their service is prompt and professional and I cannot recommend them enough. You'd be foolish to take your damaged phone anywhere else! As a side note, I was there when a typical Hamptons resident (wealthy, pushy, alpha male) came in and spoke down to them and treated them poorly as if they didn't know what they were doing. They handled this difficult person with a level of professionalism that I don't think I'd have the patience to muster. Kudos to them. read more

Tech Connect is always on point! Their outstanding customer service is a cut above the rest & always consistent. Tom & Mike are always so courteous & helpful. I have gone in just to ask a question and always received with a friendly smile & an answer. I bought a new phone and I had trouble with it. I was told to send the phone back & they would send me another if it could not be fixed even though it was under warranty. I would be without a phone for days which I could not do since I use it for work so decided to bring it in to Tech Connect & within a couple of hours I had my phone back in working condition and at a minimal fee. Had I been without my phone for even a day or 2 it would have cost me so much more not to mention, loss of clients. I have recommended them to friends & family & always received positive feedback. read more

I was so upset when my laptop screen cracked! I tried using it for several weeks even with the crack but then the touchscreen began to have a mind of its own. Feeling the dread of the possibility of having to purchase a whole new laptop, I reached out to a few people to ask if they knew anyone who could fix a laptop screen. The message I got was...you're just better off buying a new laptop...*ugh. Purchasing a new laptop was not in my budget! I fortunately came across Tech Connect in Eastport. I brought it in and Mike said they could fix it- no problem! He ordered the new screen and I had my laptop back within the week! The pricing was very reasonable and I was delighted that I did not have to get a new laptop! I can't say enough about Tech Connect! I am so thrilled with Mike's expertise, pricing and customer service! read more

Hi. I don't normally leave reviews but in this case I just had to. So, I came in today with several issues on multiple devices. Not only was Mike knowledgable on how to repair each, but he was also much more affordable than going elsewhere or buying new devices. My cell phone had a problem holding onto its battery life and couldn't charge...HE FIXED IT! My ipad air 2nd generation was dropped and the screen was broken....HE FIXED IT! My child's ipod touch had so many pictures and videos on it, that it was full to capacity and wouldn't work right. He emptied all media's onto a SD card by transferring it all right there in his shop and the ipod touch worked great after....HE FIXED IT! If you have any issues with laptops, computers, cell phones, tablets etc... MIKE CAN FIX IT! I highly recommend TECH CONNECT! read more

Since opening eight years ago I have had numerous occasions to use their computer, cell phone and in house video/audio repair services. Never have they failed me, rather they provide excellent almost immediate services at a reasonable price. Every technician is competent, professional, courteous and patient, especially when explaining issues and solutions that defy understanding from us neophites. What more can one expect, except that a lot of what they did for me and my family was at no charge. Some examples: I thought I needed a new battery, turns out they simply cleaned the plug tereminal. No charge. I dropped my phone in water - they loaned me another phone while I waited for my new phone. No charge. These guys are just special read more

These guys are the best !!!! Hands down the best ! My wife's phone got swamped in a wave that ran up the beach, her screen was already cracked so the salt water got inside and destroyed the phone. Having not backed up her phone she lost everything. Another place tried to retrieve her data and photos with zero luck and they told us it was a lost cause. My wife didn't want to give up because of all the photos she would've lost. Mike and his staff saved the day. I don't know what they did or how the did it but they were able to save everything !! Like I said THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST !!! If you need anything repaired don't go anywhere else! RICH in Remsenburg read more

If you're local, or even if you're not, Tech Connect is worth a trip for anything having to do technology! Needed a screen protector for a Nintendo Switch installed. Thought of Tech Connect. Got there at closing time, Mike and Max were kind enough to stay open, and install the screen protector! It's so important, especially these days, to support the brick and mortar stores of our neighborhood. At the end of the day, it's businesses like Tech Connect that will save your day, and your wallet! They sure did save mine, and I am forever grateful. Thank you, Mike and Max for being there with professionalism, expertise and kindness! read more

I brought my Lenovo Laptop in due to battery issues. Within 10 minutes they had my laptop opened up, showed us the internal battery, how they were fixing it, and had the laptop working like new! I wasn't charged a dime for the service or any labor charges because it was a relatively simple fix. That being said they also listened to what I needed patiently and were very pleasant to speak with. I've come in here from time to time for repairs on phones and various devices and found their prices to be reasonable and repair work to be timely. I highly recommend using this business for your technology needs. read more

I can't say enough good things about Tech Connect in Eastport! I dropped my phone in water and was sure it was done for, but they brought it back to life so fast. The staff was incredibly friendly and reassuring from the moment I walked in. They clearly know what they're doing and don't waste any time! I had my phone back SUPER fast!! Fast, professional, and genuinely kind. I can't get over how luck we are to have Tech Connect so close. They are exactly what you hope for in a local repair shop. If you're in a tech crisis, this is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend! read more

I am the type of guy who beats the crap out of his iPhone. I've been to at least 5 different repair places over the last 3 years. Some big names and even apple. Most of the time the repairs, don't last, the repair person looks at you like your problem is like landing the space shuttle and or the cost could take a family of 5 out to dinner. I went to see mike at tech connect. Previous reviews were great. iPhone was dead and wouldn't charge. Mike was Mr EZ PZ. No big speech. Had the parts and i was up and running in less than 24 hours. He's fantastic. Period end of story. read more

The review of my concern/issue by the staff at Tech Connect was excellent. He listened, he spoke knowledgeably about my device and within less then ten minutes, provided me with reassurance that made me leave confident that my concerns were of little matter--and my use of my devices since have borne out his counsel. It is evident to me that Tech Connect knows its business well and, should I have any issues in the future regarding any of my devices (iPad, MacBook, iPhone), I would have no hesitance in calling on Tech Connect's expertise again. I'm reconnected thanks to Tech Connect! I wouldn't be able to write this review (or use my phone) without you! By far, a five star rating! This is THE BEST experience that I've had when it comes to cell phone repair: Quick Simple With a Smile Tom, the most skilled technician around, had not only replaced my iPhone 6s screen in less then 10 minutes, but he also hooked me up with a perfectly placed screen protector- after hours -on a Friday evening-!!! Needless to say, I'm SO appreciative; what a way to Fall into Fall 2017! read more

I called before the store was open, just to get their hours, but my call was picked up by an answering service that took my information. I got a call back within a few hours, with an estimate range for the iPad repair I needed. When I stopped in later that same day, they fixed the iPad on the spot within a few minutes, and because it turned out to be simple fix, there was no charge for the service! Knowing that they are responsive and, based on my experience, fair and honest, I would recommend them for any tech repairs. read more

I went in to this place with a smashed iPad. After speaking with Apple over the phone for about 20 minutes all they could suggest was to buy a new one or spend a ton of money to fix mine. I decided to go into tech connect and right away I could feel the positive energy from this place. I spoke with the store manager John and he took care of me right away. 45 minutes later I was picking up my iPad and it looked brand new. Also the price was very reasonable. Thanks again guys I will be recommending Tech Connect to everyone! read more

If I could rate Tech Connect higher I would! When I went in to get my phone fixed I was greeted with Mike. I went in to get my phone fixed and explained that I had problems with my home button, speakers and home button along with my cracked screen. When I came back to retrieve my phone Mike explained he had done my screen, new battery, home button and charging port and cleaned the inside of my phone with no extra charge. I'm forever grateful to Tech Connect and they now have a customer for life! Thanks mike!! read more

Mike from Tech Connect came to my home for a house call today. I have had issues with my Wifi years and have had too many tech people here to count in an effort to resolve the problems. Mike managed to resolve my Wifi issues one by one and now my Sonos works - as does my Nest thermostat- my printer now prints wirelessly from anywhere in the house! Mike was professional - arrived right on time for the appointment and was masked and very COVID conscious. I would definitely recommend Tech Connect!! Thanks Mike. read more

These guys were the best. They were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, professional, courteous & patient. They made the transition from my old phone to new, extremely easy. As a senior, this would be an impossible task for me to accomplish. Several calls had to be made (for set-up) and what also impressed me, Rob protected my security by refusing to answer personal questions that were not mandatory to respond to. I would have never known that. I would not hesitate to recommend them, excellent service!! read more

Came in here the other day to have my cell phone repaired. I was greeted by the Mike. After I explained the unfortunate scenario which led to the demise of my phone screen, Mike assured me that the repair wouldnt be nearly as much as I had been quoted from the other phone repair shop I had visited earlier that day. Mike and his team had my phone ready to go with a new screen later that day at a price that didnt break the bank. Couldn't ask for better service. I recommend this business. read more

After my laptop screen was obliterated in flight never did I think it would be so hard to find a repair that didn't require handing off my pc for a week plus but low and behold after calling these amazing people and actually talking to a live person without being put on hold all they needed was the model number to order it and in 2 days they received the replacement screen and installed it overnight wow that's why we need to support the locals and not the big box b-s! read more
