I attempted to get a wireless device at this store over a year ago. I told the guy I'd be using it for my online class I was taking and would be livestreaming and watching lectures. Apparently he didn't listen because after being home for two hours using the wireless I'd used up the entire amount of gigs for the month. I cancelled the next day and also called Verizon's 1809 number to cancel. Fast forward 14 months later and the guy I putted my address incorrectly - didn't get my email for the account and now Verizon shows up on my three credit reports saying I owe $195 - for an account I used less than 24 hours and already paid for. To make matters worse I've twice Called the store and they are too busy to talk and don't return my calls. Turnover is high nobody I first spoke to is there to help me. Called Verizon and found out this is more like a franchise, so not really a Verizon store. SAVE YOURSELF and just don't go here. If you want the horrible details, here is the saga of my extended interaction with them: I wanted to upgrade and ordered the new iPhone because they did not currently have it in stock. 1. Made it sound like my only upgrade option was to switch over to the monthly payments of the phone's retail value. False - It is actually THEIR only option to offer this upgrade plan - they cannot offer the two year contract. 2. Went back to cancel the order/upgrade so I can stick with the 2 year contract, and they argued with me. Make a sales pitch, fine, but aggression/frustration when I don't take your advice is not okay. 3. Couldn't cancel the order until the phone arrived. So I called to cancel when it did. I was told that it was cancelled, but found out that it actually wasn't when I tried to upgrade from the Apple Store. 4. Called from the Apple Store to make them cancel again and got hung up on twice. read more

I recently switched from At&t to Verizon. This location had amazing promotions on phones and accessories. The rep went above and beyond to help us get our service transferred over and setting up our new phones. The rep was very patient, helpful and definitely knowledgeable. Epitome of a perfect experience. After "you have multiple software issues but erase everything and try again" at the extremely friendly Greenwich Apple Store (also one of the best, despite that response) with my iPhone 7, I decided next stop was Verizon to see what could be done. Akhil helped me decided on a new iPhone X in less than 5 minutes, gave great advice, suggestions, and made the transaction easier than anything. First, they are not really Verizon . . . kind of. Yes, they are called Verizon, but when problems arise, Verizon will blame them, and then they will blame Verizon. Even after the equivalent of days (literally) on the phone with Verizon so-called customer service, I still have no suggestions how to get around this. Are some store real? and some not real? Who knows? Second, I bought products, they did not work, brought them back to be returned within the designated time period, and they refused to refund the money, because they could not access my account (well, they had deactivated the account, as it turns out). But this has gone back and forth with no resolution . . . even months later. Third, they are dishonest. They said they would either fix the problem or return my money. They have done neither. I should have been more suspicious when they asked for a copy of my Social Security card to set up the phone account. What's up with that? Wonder whether I am still to find out the full extent of the problem with this place. read more

It would have been great if I got what I went to the store for. A week or so ago, I came in hoping to open up a new account. I walk in and no one was there to offer me any help. The manager was sitting down surrounded by customers while this young man was going back and forth to transfer stuff and fetching papers for the him. He could have helped me, and he was about to but the manager told him that he would take care of me. So while I was waiting to be helped, I looked at the phone cases that they had. They were priced twice the amount I would have gotten it from best buy or walmart. I walked out with nothing and very disappointed. It's beyond me how the store owner can let this happen. read more

Horrible experience. Manager was belligerent, unhelpful and threw his own employee under the bus stating how the employee made a mistake and he was going to cancel my order after I was there for OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF. I had to leave the store with nothing, no old phone, no new phone...and return to pick it up hours later. And I wasn't the only person who had to leave and come back, another family did too due to the incompetence at this store. We both ended up back at the store at the same time to pick up our phones that still were not ready and at the same time the Manager of the store picked up his briefcase with a store full of people and walked out. This is not a verizon store and as a result they aren't actually able to help you with anything regarding your verizon account. From what I can tell they can't actually do anything. I went in wanting to buy a new phone willing to pay whatever it cost and they wouldn't sell me one. This store is fraudulent. They appear to be very helpful but in the end they do things behind your back that end up costing you more money. Verizon corporate does not want to deal with the problem either even though they carry their name. I paid this store for an insurance policy for my phone and in June I had the need to use it so I brought the phone to the store because it was completely dead and the guys told me to pay for my deductible and that they would send me a new phone. A few days later when I picked up the phone, it was the same phone (it had a scratch that I recognized) but it was working. I asked them why they were giving me the same phone when I had paid over $150 for my deductible and they said they would exchange it for a new phone and did not go into further detail. A month later the phone came to my address and I sent the old phone back to Verizon as instructed, Verizon proceeded to charge me $300 replacement fee because it was submitted under warranty and the screen was broken, which is why I paid for the deductible to begin with because it should no have been submitted under warranty, this was all done by the store without my knowing. I called corporate Verizon and they took no ownership for the store and they did not credit the money even though this storefront with their name had committed fraud!!!!! They told me to call the store and have them take care of it. I have called them over 10 times and they always tell me that they will get back to me and are working on it and they never get back to me or take care of it. They are not to be trusted, they are a shame to all other business and Verizon should be more careful as to who they franchise. read more
