Loretta listens to what you want and makes great suggestions to make sure you are truly happy with your hair at the end of the session. She always makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive to when you leave. Last time she fed me tons of delicious cookies and we talked like we were old friends gabbing away while she was doing my hair :) My husband's aunt is a hair stylist herself and is always so critical of other people's work but when I sent her pictures of my hair she says "You gotta keep her! She's fantastic!" I've only seen her twice but both times were a great experiences. Her talent and great customer service is what will keep me returning when I want to change up my hair :)

Second time braiding Started an hour and a half after appt…read moretime so I wasn't too happy with that, but I know that happens often and I'm used to it. I got box braids this time and they looked Fantastic the first week. Lovvvved them. The owner started the braids and then had two other women finishing them so they were done in under two hours! This is how to not be in the chair all day people! Fast forward 7th day and we have major slippage. Most of the braids are a full inch from the scalp now. I'm pretty sure because she wrapped around hair. You can see in pic. I was sure these would last a month or more but 2 weeks in and I don't think I feel confident that some just won't fall out. I've been doing a braid over the top and big buns so you can't see the slipping, although I would prefer her to be able to wear down. If we do go back we'll probably do cornrows again or crochet. I like that her shop is large and kept clean and she's friendly.

And I left with wet hair because she was gonna charge me extra even know she said it was included so I didn't know how bad it was until I got home! The lady was non social and when she did talk it was to another customer who was getting her hair dyed and she complained the whole time to the other woman about how she didn't want to be there that she should be in church ! I had the worst experience/uncomfortable of my life at this salon they made me look terrible so I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS SALON! And I know alot of people may look at reviews and say oh they probably just didn't like the person well not in this case I don't write reviews very often but when I do it's to make sure no one has the same experience as I did so if you have long beautiful hair don't let them cut it because you will leave there upset now I have to wear my hair in a ponytail until it grows long enough to get it cut right sorry for the rant just don't want anyone to feel like this thanks.
