I'm glad to see other ladies had a great experience at Xanadu. Mine was disappointing. Back in…read more2018, I went to Xanadu for a hair consultation Purchased about $3,000.00 worth of products (hair growing kit) so I can follow her recommended regimen. Went to purchase an individual product from the kit. It cost $111.00. Went to buy same individual product the price was jacked up to $130.00. I WAS DONE. Price gauging at my expense. So I stopped going . No follow up or wellness check/call. Andrea out of the blue sends me a promotional text about her services. I didn't respond. Then she sends me another text addressing me properly by name asking me how I am which was the text she should of sent me first. We have to do better by customers who allow themselves to be vulnerable and come to you for help. ESPECIALLY if they are spending thousands of dollars for services. #dobetter!

Fabulous. Wish I could bring this place home with me…read more Krystin Lehmann did my highlights & lowlights today and I couldn't be happier with the results. Krystin knew that I was a one time customer visiting from San Francisco and could have taken the easy route on my hair...but she didn't. She was very thorough in her questions as to what my current salon uses and made sure to communicate what she did for me so that I could pass it on to my regular hairdresser. When you go from dark to blonde, its difficult to get the right tone, but I am very pleased with the results and this salon. This "one time customer" will definitely come back to this place any time my travel allows. Thank you for the excellent service today PS - when I looked at her card for the correct spelling of her name, its says "Junior Stylist". Could have fooled me. Get in with Krystin while you can, it certainly won't stay that way long.

Unfortunately they didn't have any available appointments. They said they had one, but wasn't sure if the people were going to make it. I called everywhere in Dover and finally gave up. Was left with orange hair on a Dec 2 appt. Was promised it would "fade" and it happened because my hair was so "damaged". Weird my hair was so "damaged" but only on the front undersides. After texting, messaging numerous times to Amanda and even reaching out to the owner I was told I could come in on Jan 25. By this time I already had my next appointment with a reputable salon in March. What a surprise to find out she did my hair beautifully and said my hair was NOT damaged and the previous stylist probably didn't leave the product on long enough. The owner's answer to my credit card company was that I tipped the stylist. Of course I did when she dried my hair with my back facing the mirror so I didn't notice how bad it was until after I left. Plus the fact I was charged $190 for a terrible job. Unbelievable

This is great for anyone (like myself) that is concerned with maintaining social distance. We discussed the haircut and what it would entail while he explained what would be best in his opinion but it was ultimately my mother's decision. The cut came out amazing! This is honestly the shortest time we've ever been in a salon, it was seamless! Will absolutely go back again! We'll refer anyone to go which is great because not only is the service excellent, the salon does all types of hair.
