Johnny did my nails and he made sure I liked them through the various steps of the process and allowed me to ask for changes along the way. He worked off of a reference photo and did a great job replicating it. He also assured me that if I have any problems with my nails (chipping, etc.) that I should come back and they will take care of it for free. Prices are fair and you get $5 off if you pay in cash (they have an ATM). You can walk in, but I'd recommend making an appointment just so you don't have to wait as long if they're busy. I like to support a new local business, and they really are doing a great job! I'm sure I will be back.

I believe it was the male owner who did my nails and he was talkative and friendly. I think he paid better attention to detail than some other nail techs I've used before, and he checked with me several times throughout the process to make sure I liked the color and length, which sometimes doesn't happen at salons! However, I do see some of the complaints about the place being disorganized and a bit messy. Not a five star spa experience by any means, but if you want decent nails done at a decent price, I don't think this place is half bad. I wouldn't rely on walking in here--make an appointment to ensure you aren't waiting a long time, because when I went there were only two people working.

In addition, this is not normally where I go for a pedicure. I go to a different shop that has only one nail tech and requires appointments. That works for me, since I prefer not to have to wait when I arrive. But unfortunate my usual nail tech had to cancel today, since she had tested positive for Covid. Elite Nails is a large Vietnamese shop with a lot of nail techs, so I knew I could get a pedicure there without an appointment. There was a wait when I arrived. But when a nail tech got to me, I had a very positive impression of her work. When my usual nail tech recovers from Covid, I will return to her shop. But if I ever again needed a pedicure without an appointment, I would not hesitate to return to Elite Nails.

The lady who did my nails is named Cheryl if you would like to get your nails done by her. She spends quality time on prepping the nails before she puts the acrylics on. She is so gentle and careful with my nails, I don't think I could ever get my nails done by anyone else. The nail art is the most amazing I have ever seen, and she does it freehand. The stylists that do business here are all hair styling/cutting career professionals that have practiced their craft for years and have their own customers. Each stylist leases their own space within the salon and is responsible for their own scheduling and individual business. I've been coming here for at least ten 10 years seeing "Karen" every three weeks year around. Fun, easy to reschedule if need be, interesting to chat with--she's like family! I know her husband and her kids by name, some of her grandchildren, I know her political leanings and where she vacations. She knows my family and everything about me. She's a delight and makes he happy by the time I leave. What's better than that? And she gives me a great, affordable haircut. She's sort of my Floyd the Barber, although she doesn't stutter. So, the point of the review is a bit of a response to the one other from the previous month by a long-time Yelper which I felt didn't provide some important information. I showed the ladies at the salon the review--they'd never seen Yelp--and they all said the same thing: only one person that ever did make-up is no longer employed there, left shortly after that review was posted. What I can tell you about the salon itself: - Always clean. Cutting hair is a messy business but the facility is always orderly. - The bathroom is spotless, every time, without fail. - Easy parking, usually right in front of the salon. - Every stylist has their own hours. - The facility is well cared for, always painted.
