I am an healthcare professional who actually does ingrown toenail removal so it's not like I don't know what one is. Also I asked for a design on my big toe. I had picked out a baby blue polish and asked for a sunset with a small sailboat. She kept telling me it wouldn't show up and that I needed a lighter color on my big toes. she recommended white I said no, so then she kept pushing orange. It didn't match the baby blue and looked horrible against my skin tone and then when she started painting the sailboat with a very dark blue, she covered the whole nail and it looked like a jack-o'-lantern. I was horrified. I had to tell her just paint the basic blue with no design. I spent $140 for none of my nails to look good, not get a cute design, got guilted into pedicure I didn't want or need, and now have a painful, probadly infected toe. Whole experience felt rushed and money grabbing. Couldn't just relax in the pedicure chair and use the massage features. I felt held hostage. I literally sat there trying to hold back the tears because I never can get the awesome nail designs everyone else seems to have. I will never allow anyone to work on both my hands and feet at the same time again.
