This used to be a great place to go for unique pizza, but this visit was disappointing. It was a carry out order that I placed online. There were more black olives than usual, like almost half a can and almost as many mushrooms. But I could count the pieces of Italian sausage on one hand, not even one piece of meat for each slice. The same was true for the red onions and roma tomatoes. The parmesan cheese was lacking as well. The bottom was soggy and this may have been because of the steam in the box. This is one of the best pizza places I've ever been to. It really sets the bar high for other pizza shops. You walk in and pick your choice of crust - white or wheat. They roll it out for you and toss it in the air while you decide on the rest. There are a dozen different cheese options and about 20 toppings to choose from. Once you've created your special combination, it goes into the oven for baking. The pizza comes out with a crispy crust and cheesy, gooey center. The customer service is nothing short of excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back if I'm in the area again. read more

I went here today, and there was only one person working. He was working really hard but it was not possible to keep up with the amount of people in here plus pick up orders. We saw 4 people behind us walk out and the people waiting were pretty upset. This place is really good but not worth the wait when it takes 20 minutes for a panini. Pretty cool concept, however, the pizza was thoroughly mediocre and overpriced. The basic pizza starts off at a fair value however, as you add more and more toppings, the pie gets more and more expensive and you eventually end up paying $12 for a personal pizza. Transmet has pizza slices that are about the same size for a third of the price. There are better alternatives out there that have the same quality of ingredients for far less money. Not that Your Pie is bad. It's good. The concept is cool and sometimes it's the most convenient way to spend pocket money. Just. This place has nothing amazing or super unique to offer me so I'm unwilling to eat here again. There's no wood fired oven but they're charging wood fire pizza prices. read more

Very poor service. We were the only people there and one person in our party didn't get her pizza until everyone else in our table was finished eating. We watched as people who came in after us got their pizzas. No apology, no attempts to make it right even after pointing it out. Everyone at our table has worked in food service and that is not cool. I like the concept but that is were it ends.. A Subway's version of Pizza. I think the price you pay for what you get is lacking. Pizza tasted good. But definitely left hungry and wanting more. $7.99 for I would guess 9 inch pizza is not a value to me. Other reviews say is 10 inch pizza so maybe off by an inch. Also on a Saturday the freestyle soda machine was out of Coke and Dr. Pepper. The tables are only 2 feet apart if that. You feel like you are dining with people right next to you. Not a fan. It is a chain restaurant and to me can get just the same or better at any other pizza chain. First time visit and probably last for me. Others love it but left me disappointed. read more

I recently moved back to the area and am a regular again. What a great staff they have, clean bathrooms for my 5 year old, and just in general accommodate my needs. When it first opened, this place was awesome. It has declined. They began skimping on the cheese, so to get enough to actually cover the whole pizza you pay an extra buck. The topping used to be placed in a presentable way, now, you will get many slices without any topping. It has become disappointing. My daughter first recommended this place. She lives in Athens and knows how I am always looking for something new to try when in Athens also. First trip there, service was actually pretty good. Staff seemed to be rolling along, organized and friendly enough for a quick bite restaurant. Second time visiting, just last week, a whole different story. We got there at around 11:20 a.m. and they just seem flat out disorganized. Let me just start by saying my #1 pet peeve with any restaurant, upscale, fast-food, chain, or decent sit-down would have to be when you post your hours, be fully ready to accomodate folks at those hours. In other words, have staff try to dress themselves, have the restaurant seating, food, cleaning, everything done expecting people to walk in at 11:00 a.m. if you claim to open at 11:00 a.m. I work odd hours and do eat lunch many days as early as 11:00 and you always seem to get that "my lord, I can't believe someone is already here look" when you walk in right after they open. That was the case here although they should had been ready 20 minutes before as we came in at 11:20. No smiles, no friendly "welcome to Your Pie", no nothing! I watched as we sat and waited for our food and the same continued for practically the next half hour to 45 minutes. There appears to be no team work amongst the employees and just very slack and unpersonable in general. The manager looked as though he had been doing some number crunching on the first table as you walk in and although the restaurant is quite limited on seating, left his backpack, laptop and everything else sprawled across the table until well into the lunch hour. The pizza here is excellent. I had always asked my daughter if there was any good pizza anywhere in Athens as I frequent the Gwinnett, Forsyth and Atlanta area often and they at least have Mambo, Alessios and Mona Lisa. When she recomended this place I can say that so far, I haven't been disappointed in the food they serve, only the service. They must step it up soon as I can see other venters are noticing it as well. I sure hope this won't be one of those places that you begin to get attached to and drive by one day to see something else there in it's place. read more

A previous reviewer mentioned a bad experience with the staff, but that must have been corrected because I see the same faces every time I come in and they are all very competent.
