The good: Very quick response when asked for a quote. They moved our daughter, and we noticed they guys were courteous and efficient. They are also very friendly. The not so good: when we moved we hired Your Personal Movers. It was a big move, so we acquired some of the paper and boxes from our daughter to save some money. We told the guys where they were, and ask them to use them first. After they left, we found most of those boxes unused. As we unpack, the amount of paper used was totally unnecessary,; which increased the number of boxes. It might have made sense if we were moving across country, but we were going 6 blocks! I talked to Brian at Your Personal Mover. We weren't able to schedule enough time to do my move in one day, so we did part on a Wednesday and the remainder on Saturday. ( I called on Monday, so I was thrilled they weren't already booked.) I was quoted a flat rate hourly price. Dakota and Tyler showed up right on time. They were fast and efficient, yet they were also careful!!! I have moved several times in the past few years. This was by far the best and least expensive move. They stuck to the flat rate with no surprises. I hope to not need movers again, but if I do, this is the only company that I will call. read more

We booked a move with these guys after a recommendation from a local Golden friend who said they were great. Spoke on the phone and confirmed via email with a move date. On our moving day they were a no-show, they got the date mixed up. My family ended up doing an entire house in 1 day to turn the house over to the new buyers. 48 hours later our new house still looks like a yard sale, It'll takes days to get it all back together. Their hourly rate was a great value, they were very prompt with our estimate and to answer questions we had prior to the move (always same day, within hours), and the day of the move went exactly as planned. Our experience with Your Personal Mover was fantastic. We sent an email to their site and owner Annette responded within a day. Annette's husband Brian coordinated a visit around our schedule and conducted a walk-through resulting in a price quote that very day (including various service options such as having them pack or providing packing materials). When they arrived to pack, Brian and Annette brought four seasoned employees (not hired help for the day) and one new employee just starting (a working college student). The results--most likely due to the years of experience--were great: attention to detail without one (that's right--not ONE) broken or missing item, small or grand. Brian and Annette took on the most delicate of tasks to help ensure such great results. They re-used the professional moving boxes and wrapping material that we saved from our interstate move two years ago, which allowed us to save a bit of money on packing materials. The wrapping they used for our paintings was something we had not seen before: a kraft paper over a polymer with a special protective layer that touched the canvas--great stuff that we gave to an artist friend to store his own paintings. When they unloaded the boxes at our new house, they took care to a make sure they put everything where we wanted it--a particular room, the deck, the garage, the back yard, etc. They even hauled away the washer and dryer left by the previous owners and gave them to someone who could use them. They hooked up our own washer and dryer for us (with the understanding from us that they are not plumbers and could not be responsible for leaks...they worked fine and their correct hookup was verified by a HVAC & plumbing professional who visited the house soon after for an unrelated matter). Once we were unpacked weeks later, we coordinated a time when Annette was heading back to our neighborhood to quote on a new job and she collected all of our flattened moving boxes--Your Personal Mover had a client coming up on a fixed income, and these used professional moving boxes were given freely to that client. Annette and Brian understand the value of good service--it is their livelihood and they treat it as such, from the way they first respond to a customer to the way they hang on to good employees. We highly recommend this local company; we hope to never have to move again, but we could call Your Personal Mover if needed. read more

I have used this crew 3 times now. Most recent was 2/24/2017 when I moved from my house of 24 years to my new house. These guys rock! Clean, quick, courteous, on time, careful; what more could you ask. On the first move there was some slight damage to a really heavy piece. Stuff happens. But Annette was persistent about scheduling time for a repair person to come out and fix it. It was done and I was satisfied with the repair. And in all three moves, with lots of big, heavy furniture, that was the only damage. On this last move I turned a lot over to them; taking apart beds, prepping my washer for the move, hooking stuff back up on the other end ; they did great. Highly recommended! Hustle and flow. Professional, personable, friendly, very hard working and honest. I've moved a number of times and used some of the big van companies, too, and this was the best experience I've ever had. I said honest -- they could have walked away with my sound bar, but called me back (they'd put it in the cab for safe keeping). Had a move that needed to get done on short notice. I called around and received ludicrous quotes until finally contacting this company, which quoted me at about half the price of its competitors. They showed up promptly, worked tirelessly for every minute I paid for, and were cheerful and nice all the while. I'd recommend this company over any of its bigger competitors any day. Just used Your Personal Mover to move the contents of our 10 x 20 storage unit into an ABF (Upack) trailer. We had scheduled them 2 months previously, but had to cancel at the last minute due to emergency surgery that my husband had to undergo. Anette was so understanding, and I was happy that they were available again after my husband had recovered, and we were finally ready to move. Matt & Isaiah showed up on time and went right to work loading our belongings into their truck, then driving down the street to where the ABF trailer was parked, to transfer everything from their truck to the trailer. We asked them to pack everything tightly, as we were being charged by the foot for the space we used in the ABF trailer. Matt & Isaiah were very efficient, careful, polite, and hard working. A complete disaster, continuous nightmare, and a regretful experience. We received no cooperation from Brian the owner of Your Personal Movers, Inc. when we had a problem with the move. He did not come to our home to see what the problem was. However, via telephone, he said, "My crew would never do that." These guys were great. Your Personal Mover unloaded a rental truck into our new townhouse. Brian and his colleague arrived on time, did a tour of our house to find out where everything would go and then wrapped the bannisters and woodwork with pads so that they wouldn't get dinged. Your Personal Mover moved us across town within the Denver Metro area. We moved in 3 parts: 1 - Old home to storage unit so we could stage our old home for sale. 2 - From storage to new home a day before our main move. 3 - Main move from old home to new home. They also advised us on how to minimize the cost of our move. The overall experience was excellent. The estimates were accurate. They we able to work with us on a schedule change. They were sensitive to minimizing our cost and gave us good advice on how to minimize our overall cost, e.g. we moved the yard items, pots and plants ourselves in advance of the move. We moved our artwork ourselves after the move. I liked their no-fuss and simple all-in hourly rate pricing approach. We did not use their packing services as we had the luxury of time to do it ourselves. The guys who moved us were pleasant, very careful about bumping anything and worked at a very rapid pace. Bottom line is I highly recommend Your Personal Mover and we were glad to be able to contract with a Golden based small business. read more

The best moving experience I ever had (and it was my 10th move in 12 years). The guys showed up on-time, and they were polite and professional and English-speaking. They were careful and cautious with all our stuff, and not one single thing was broken. Their truck is huge, and these guys can pack a truck with far more stuff than you would imagine. They worked hard all day long and didn't make me feel like they were wasting my money. The way this company bills is easy to understand - it's just one flat hourly rate - there are no fees for mileage or stairs or fuel or heavy objects, etc. Moving is stressful; this company takes a huge load off! read more

Moving in Arvada and my friend recommended Your Personal Mover, and I am very glad he did. Brian came out just a couple of days after I contacted him to give me an in-person quote. Not only did he offer a competitive price but he let me know a number of things to reduce the cost of the move. Shortly before our move my wife was hospitalized and a small army showed up to help us move (thank God!). We got so much done the day prior I was concerned YPM would be upset that it turned into basically a "furniture only" move. I contacted Annette and let her know what was going on. She was very gracious and completely understood the situation, expressing more concern about my wife's condition than the $$$ lost because we got so much done ourselves. The day of the move was also a great experience, all of the movers were very friendly, asked questions to understand exactly what I needed and worked their tails off! What should have been a full day turned into just half a day but they just took it in stride, got it all done! Another point worthy of mentioning: although some of the movers looked, well... like movers!?; long hair, tattoos and/or piercings they were all professionals, super friendly and even "kept it clean" around my little ones, thanks guys!
