But they more than made up for it by the end. The owner and another mover ended up coming and helping out to ensure we got done in the allotted time, and we ended up very happy with the services. Would recommend.

I used Lifestyle Moving and Cleaning for both a move-in cleaning and moving services. I'll review…read moreboth. Move-in cleaning - I arranged to have this done before I moved into my house so I wasn't present to make sure it went to plan. Despite not showing up until 11am Edward was very communicative and sent me photos once the cleaning was complete. I arrived a few days later to find there were whole cabinets that hadn't been cleaned, many corners where cobwebs hadn't been dusted, and several other items that led me to believe that the 'deep clean' that I had thoroughly outlined had not happened. Moving - I had already arranged to have Edward and crew move all my contents from the moving truck into the house so I decided to stick with it. They showed up about 30 minutes late but that was the only disappointment. From there they were extremely efficient moving everything professionally with dollys and tools need to get the job done. They put everything exactly where I told them to are were meticulous in organizing it in the house. Long story short, I'd hire them again for moving in a heartbeat. Cleaning I'd make sure I was present to ensure it was done to your satisfaction.

I hired Seth and Beyond Moving to move my elderly parents from Colo to Texas. It was a huge move…read morebut Seth told me he could handle it. His guarantee was he would repair, replace, or pay face value for items broken or damaged. Sounded good. He told me packing material would be about $300 - ended up charging me $1100. How as a professional be that far off?? The packers were always about 1 hour later than scheduled. We had to be out of the house by a certain day and i knew based on the progress it would not happen. I ended up packing many non- fragile items to speed up the progress. So many things went wrong- they broke so many items and hid some of the broken items so I didn't know until days later. He pressured me to sign papers and settle very late at night before I had a chance to check on things. Many things are missing and I don't know if they were left at the house or disappeared in the move. I have moved many times and never had such a bad experience. It was a stressful time - he told me he would take care of everything - a very disappointing experience. I would avoid this company if you have items you care about.

No response. I then called the office line twice, no response. I then called and texted the two owner numbers on the voice message for emergencies and "moves in progress." NO RESPONSE except being yelled by one contact when I was mistaken for a telemarketer before even saying my name. No response from the owner to text either. I had to scramble and find other movers. The cost of doing that same day was extraordinary. I may have been willing to wait for them but never got a response. The only thing I needed was communication. A text with an updated ETA. A basic response. But to be 3 hours over the window with no update is wild. I still have received nothing from the business directly, only a third party. It's too bad because they came highly recommended and I love supporting local businesses.

Friendly, efficient and fast…read more Jose has a very positive attitude towards challenges of moving. Expect him to say "Easy-Peasy". Moved us from one apartment to another during apt renovations. Did a great job with just one person to help. Jose believes in word-of-mouth business referrals. Does not have much of a presence on the internet. He has been very successful with this old fashioned way of doing business. I plan to use his services again and recommend him strongly to anyone. It's rare to find people with such strong core values of decency and customer service skills like him.

I have done many moves and have hired my share of movers and this was by far the worst experience I…read morehave ever had. Chris was incredibly unprofessional and was clearly moving slowly to run up the time. It took the full 4 hours (for a load and unload) I booked to move a two bedroom apartment and they weren't able to complete the job. They poorly packed the truck, so they weren't able to fit all of our items in the truck. Despite saying they would prioritize our larger items (of which we only had a few pieces), they did not and we were still left with a queen bed and twin daybed at the end of the time. I felt incredibly uncomfortable about Chris's attitude when I asked (politely) how long he thought it would take to complete the job because this was not a typical experience for me, he became aggressive, hostile, and raised his voice saying, "Are you saying we're moving too slowly?" and was extremely defensive. I was so uncomfortable and felt unsafe due to his behavior, so I released the funds to them when the time was up, but I regret letting them so blatantly take advantage of the time. For example, I saw Chris maybe one time in the first hour they were working, while his partner moved our things--and he was moving stackable crates so I know it certainly did not take an hour to load those in the truck. After I confronted them, I could tell they were moving even slower and I saw my items sitting in the hallways as I went down there and he and his partner were both just standing by the truck. Given the other review, this is clearly a pattern and a way to get more money doing less work. Avoid at all costs!!
