My wife called this place to have a key made for our 2019 Spark. At first, the two gentlemen were…read morevery friendly and accommodating even offering to right the PWC that was on its side on the trailer due to a bumpy ride. Before the "technician" attempted programming the PWC to the key I informed him that this wasn't our first replacement key and that Team Power Sports in Garner, NC supplied the last key and it DID NOT require programming. I was almost certain of this but the "technician" insisted that all 2019 Sparks and newer needed programming. So... two guys are working on our PWC with programming boxes and a laptop. After 10 minutes they tell us that it won't take programming and something is wrong. At this point my wife is goes online to see what would cause that and she finds that it could be a weak battery. The workers changed the battery for a good one. I call Team Power Sports to get the details of the last key we bought and they said that our PWC is the non-convenience package and does not require programming. While on the phone, I relayed the information to the person trying to program the key and that's when he lost his composure and told me to "take it to them then" and that "I'm such an expert" at which I try to explain that I was just trying to relay what I was being told by the actual dealer that sold us the PWC. The bottom line is that I wish I would have went to a real service center like Team Power Sports and not some fly-by-night shady home business that clearly is in over its head. This business has no business being in business and that key programming is service center 101. I feel sorry for anyone that had repairs done at this business.
