She asked what I was looking for and gave me information on their minimum order. I explained what I was hoping to do for a golf outing at the end of the month and when I would need them. I know I was pushing it because I arrived at my decision to do this quite late in the game. AnnMarie responded to my information and told me that the workload was such that they could not accommodate my request. She also told me that she even tried to move their schedule to accommodate me but that wasn't possible. Despite their inability to fill my need, I was completely blown away and thoroughly impressed by what AnnMarie did next. She gave me the name of a competitor in Pasadena that she recommended highly. In the future, if I am in need of embroidery or silkscreening, I will make my first call to AnnMarie at Ellen's Silkscreening.

We had heard good things about the convenience of print-on-demand, but when the samples arrived we were really disappointed. The colors were off and muted, smaller text and lines came out blurry, and some of the graphics came out misshapen. We decided to try working with a local print shop instead. I called a few of the bigger print shops in downtown LA that I had heard of, but on the phone I got the impression that they prioritized significantly bigger orders. I felt that my small business needs would not be given as much attention. I turned to Yelp to find an even more local business in the Pasadena area. After reading great reviews for EM Print Studio, I gave them a call. Eli picked up right away and took the time to answer all of my questions on the phone. I was able to send him an image of my design right away. Once we agreed to some of the parameters for the project, he scheduled me in on short notice for an in-person consultation. During the consult, Eli brought examples of the options for printing on t-shirts and explained everything to me. As someone who is new to making t-shirts, I found it extremely helpful to be able to see it in-person and also feel the texture of the garments. Eli was generous with his time and it was clear he knew his stuff. I felt confident that my order would be in good hands. He sent over a quote that same day and turned around my order in record time. After we had wasted all that time with the print-on-demand company, we were behind on our timeline to get the shirts to our students but thanks to Eli we got it done. Customer Service: I have exclusively been going to All-Around Sports over the last 3 years during my endeavor to create my own, small clothing brand. I am not designer... by any measure. Yet, Art and his staff kindly helped me alter my logo measurements, produced digitizations for my various ideas, and have fulfilled requests for 100 items and 5 items with the same speed and standard. Though I may never really be a designer, seriously, this shop has helped me achieve one of my life's passions. Durability/Quality: I have hundreds of screen-printed and embroidered products produced by All-Around Sports and I can honestly say that after dozens of washes, the screen printing has not yet cracked nor have the threads on the embroidery come loose. In my experience, most store-bought clothing items with screen printing usually crack after a few washes and the thread of the embroidery comes out. It's been 3 years and my shirts look and feel like they just came off of the press. Speed: All-Around Sports has workflow down to a science. Really, regardless of the quantity of products, Art and his staff have always gotten the products to me on time, if not even a bit earlier. I have dropped off 10+ shirts on a Monday and have had them ready by Thursday. Insane turn-around times. Though I now live in San Francisco, I would still rather fly down and get all of my printing and embroidery done at All-Around Sports.
