Tony makes you feel very relaxed from the start. Although the studio is quite small, it is decorated & lit in a way to provide a calming & peaceful ambiance to go along with the soft music in the background. Tony is professional and courteous. He takes his time and knew to pay attention to where all my tension was built up without me saying a word. I like that he also used several methods of both massaging & stretching the muscles. Very relaxing. I almost want to keep it a secret so he doesn't get too busy for me. Either way, it's worth the wait.

I used to get massages maybe twice a year but after going to Gary, I started to go every 3-4 weeks. The massage techniques and sounds take you to whole new level of relaxation. The massage table allows you to feel vibrations of the music and the massage feels customized to go with the sounds. It's definitely an experience I've never had before from other massage therapists. My knots and muscles actually feel worked out which is what most other places lacked. My chiropractor even complimented Gary on being able to tell when and where I need an adjustment. If you're looking for a great massage therapist who is knowledgeable, empathetic and checks in on you to see how you're feeling the day after the massage, Gary is your guy!

I'd rather have my girl Tyea(she's a wizard)go straight to work on my problem areas rather than have someone blindly go over my whole body with broad strokes like you will get in an old school massage. It's like a scalpel vs a samurai sword. My body gives me a lot of good feedback in the way of endorphins/oxytocin/etc when I get some nice focused pressure right on some scar tissue or super tight areas, so I much prefer the precision that these types of massages offer. Feeling good during the massage is great, but the real benefit is the aftereffects. Since coming to see Tyea several areas have improved. Things just work better. I can stretch my diaphragm more deeply, more core engagement, gait is faster and longer, more external rotation of my hips and shoulders, knees don't hurt when I get up after sitting long periods, no more neck pain, mewing is better(tongue posture), no more peripheral neuropathy, less scar tissue, just to name a few things. Most people have no idea how good they could feel, and that they have adapted and gotten used to a certain level of dysfunction. It's easy to do in today's world.
