I like firm pressure, and she had no problem whatsoever bringing that to the table. She was intuitive and committed to relieving the significant tension in my neck and shoulder. I found her through the great reviews on Google maps, and her website was incredibly professional and easy to book with. I tried the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage for the first time, and I really enjoyed it! It was nice to have areas worked that are normally skipped with Swedish and other types of massages. And that's not all... I used to go to a couple of different franchises as a member, and House of Harmony is so much better! I was greeted with aromatherapy right when I walked in, and she continued to use it throughout the session. Camilla doesn't skimp on the aromatherapy OR the water - she gave me a bottle instead of one of those little paper cups! The center strikes a great balance of homey & professional, with lovely lights, artwork, and decor that gives it personality vs the more cold and sterile atmosphere at the franchises. The linens on the massage table were heavenly. Also, her membership packages are reasonably priced, and very flexible. She didn't try to sell me on them either - I brought them up to her. Oh she has proper pressure and knows when to adjust well. She read my muscles and adjusted her pressure as she went. I love fellow healers that get in tune with their customers bodies/minds. It truly does make the massage amazing. The massage spot was easy to find. I loved how simple yet meaningful everything was. The water sounds and aromatherapy immediately calmed my nerves. The lighting wasn't too dim to feel creepy. The music isn't anything to throw off the mood of relaxation. I really love that I decided to come here. At some point another worker opened our room door to see if the room was available and I do wonder if the other person waiting for a massage got a full moon from me. The massage therapist also play music in their rooms, separately. So if the person in the room next to you had music going it's two of the same or different tunes just clashing. I don't mind that the massage therapist didn't really speak too much English but just the Swedish massage I received was probably one of the weirdest ones yet. I know no two massages are the same but I wonder if the people at this location are licensed? Massage seekers definitely be aware. I left a little more tense than I arrived I think, and my neck is a lot low sore than it would be after a typical Swedish massage. Had scheduled an appointment for epidural injections. Thought to see if Lin could help. Found it odd they hovered over the machine as I was checking out and leaving a tip. I paid via tap to pay and then I left a Cash tip but FYI - the preprogrammed starting tip options are 30%, 40% and 50%. At some point it's just out of hand. So a 50% tip on top of an $80 service?
