My husband got my a special relax day gift of a massage for body and face for 60 minutes. I have never had a professional massage. I was excited, I booked my appointment right away. During the booking on the phone I did not get told to be a little early or ask if it was my first time or lets just say any customer service friendly question you think she would need to know. Later during the appointment I realize had she asked some of these questions the experience could have gone a lot smoother and more relaxed for me. First I had a hard time finding the place, so I was 10 min late. Then when I get in she wants me to fill out a sheet/ waver with a lot of questions on it. that took even more time. then she showed me to the room and I felt like I was in an old persons home with the lights off and a lava lamp. As she was looking me weird cause I was just standing there waiting for an introduction or instruction. I had to ask her what's next? what do I do? She then explains, when she is done with what she is going to do and what I need to do she then rudely informs me that "because your late and we are starting late you will not be getting the full 60 minutes of the massage." and she left the room. The pillow while laying on my back was flat and began to give me a head ache. She only worked one area I asked her to get. Then by the time I was on my stomach and really began to relax it was over. I felt rushed at the end to get my clothes back on. I couldn't even enjoy the relaxed feeling that I had started to feel. I began to look around the shop, there are many scents, spices, and other items. But I was rushed out of there because she had a appointment she had to get to. That's why I got cut short my time. And got cut short of a good first time massage experience. :( read more
