The staff was very pleasant and our sales person was low pressure. We had an issue with our bank and the dealership was very accommodating. Unfortunately, the bad taste left by this experience was when we went to sign and were made aware there was a "non-optional" antitheft device at an additional cost. $895. I've experienced these sort of mandatory upcharges at dealerships before. It feels very predatory. Had we not had a long day and drive to get there, we would have walked away. Date: May 19, 2022. (sold my car here) This place was one of the two businesses listed in the Kelley Blue Book's "Instant Cash Offer" when I was looking to quickly sell my car. I had an offer from CarMax already, and since it's right across the street, it's no-harm, no-foul if this business didn't have the chops to compete. Well, they did; I got $2,000 USD more from here than I did at CarMax (which was already $4,000 USD higher than Vroom, $5,000 higher than Carvana, and $3,500 USD higher than Shift), in the same day, after arriving at 3:45pm, getting all of the paperwork signed, and getting my certified check in-hand by 4:20pm (nice). The business owner and check signers sit over in the Younker Nissan office down the street, and according to the sales staff, go home around 4pm, so make sure you arrive around 3pm to properly get your vehicle tested by their sales staff. If the business owner goes home (they can single-sign a business check), then two designated check signers have to sign off for the check to be considered valid; I deposited the check on a Friday, and by Saturday it cleared, so it's legit (They seem to bank through KeyBank, for what it's worth). Also - one thing I will say - they'll lowball the price you get from the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) offer. They initially offered me $3k less than what KBB's "instant cash offer" was (and only $500 more than CarMax), so make sure you know exactly what your car is worth. I still somehow gave them a $1500 discount from the instant cash offer that KBB had given me, but I was able to get them to pay me what I believed the car was worth at the time, and go home with more than what I would have gotten by going to CarMax. Basically: if you want less of a hassle, just go to CarMax. If you go here, DO NOT TELL THEM what your offers are, since they only seem to want to profit as much as they can off of you (and it's really slimy that they do - they sold my car for which is $8k more than I sold it to them for, so why do they care about a measly $1500?) If you sell your car here, you have to still file a "Bill of Sale" online on the Washington State Department of Licensing (WSDOL) website. If you already registered your car through License eXpress, then you can pay the fee online and report the sale that way. Also remember to de-register your car on the GoodToGo! Website (if you use a toll pass), as well as remove your car from any apps that reference your old plates (such as the PayByPhone app, the Parking Kitty app, or ChargePoint / EVGo). read more

I have a Mitsubishi so I decided to find a Mitsubishi store for service. This was my first time visiting this store. Did oil change and multiple points check with reasonable cost. The staff was very friendly and responded to my concerns about tires and checks for preparing a road trip in high temperature days. I was also able to use the coupon on their website to save a few dollars. I was able to go the store on the day I called. No waiting for appointment. Not much waiting either before handing my car to them at the store. The waiting for the service was reasonable. It was a weekday though. Received an "Instant Cash Offer" from KBB and this dealership reached out to me interested in purchasing my vehicle. Both Josh and manager, Luke, tag-teamed with email communications. When I arrived they each interrogated me suspiciously on why I was selling my vehicle that I didn't have for too long and kept pushing personal questions about my other vehicles that had nothing to do with the point of my visit. They asked me to repeat my "story" a handful of times, including dates of all my purchases, and created an unwelcoming experience crossing boundaries instead of focusing on the reason why they asked me to come in. In the end they told me they couldn't create an offer nor honor the KBB one due to cosmetic damage that was there from before I purchased the used car, despite both dealership and a 2nd mechanic inspection to verify conditions. Best case scenario, maybe they don't usually disrespect potential customers and waste their time by asking them to drive out. Hopefully I was just treated that way because I'm a person of color, which is 100% not okay either. I highly recommend going with a more well-known car buyer company or literally any other dealership. None of the others I visited created such a hassle or treated me like a criminal. read more

Be careful buying a car here. This place should be reported to the Attorney Generals office. What I saw at Yonkers I would expect from a "pot lot" but not from a Mitsubishi dealer. I couldn't believe the car was missing inner wheel well splashguards and front bumper cover supporting rods. ( see pictures) I can only imagine that without core supports to the edge of the bumper cover that the front bumper would jiggle as you drive. They even told us the car had a clean Carfax, which goes to show how unreliable Carfax is with respect to prior accidents. The back bumper wasn't properly fastened causing the bumper to hang too low and allowing visibility of the retaining clips. I thought the sign on the glass car door window stated that the car had been reconditioned to the highest standards ?? The car also smelled like a Dog pound. Many buyers don't have a trained eye and Wouldnt know what to look for. or even the basic body shop knowledge I feel sorry for the buyer who would dare try to purchase that car. read more

The service department tried to charge me 19 dollars to restate my tires. I had purchased my car at Younker and their oil change for life of car deal. I've never been charged anywhere to rotate my tires. The service manager told me if you buy the tires from them they rotate for free. Well, I bought the car from Younker so didn't I technically also buy the tires? Service department nickles and dimes. Also, service manager wasn't wearing a mask inside (this was late May; hopefully he is now) and looked at me weird and judgmentally when I wouldn't walk inside to give the key to him and then waited outside. read more

Never buy a car from Younker. They are hands down the most stupid idiots I have ever dealt with. I traded a car in for a new one, and in the process they managed to not release me from interest (dealerships handle ALL the paperwork) from the vehicle I traded in. 3 years later someone crashed my trade in and I was getting charged for a hit and run in a car I hadn't owned or driven in over 3 years... Now, I got tboned and filed an insurance claim, I have stayed with the same insurance they set me up with. Turns out they gave the vin for a completely different car, and I have been insuring someone else's vehicle. Perhaps the joke is on me, the only reason I bought that car is they had entered the wrong price online and I got it for almost 5 thousand dollars less than it was worth. Moral of this story, these people are really stupid, save yourself the dumbassery of dealing with these window lickers and buy elsewhere. Even if it seems like a good deal it will haunt you for years to come. We purchased a used Volvo xc90 and had a great experience with Jeremy. Loved the car! Got it home and once we were able to get more than 30 minutes on the road with it, at 60mph noticed a big vibration in the rear. Thought it was a tire out of balance but turns out the car had two bent rims. Called younkers and spoke to Steve the sales manager who told me he'd get back to me. These 22" rims are pretty spendy so looked into getting them repaired and found it pretty easy to get them fixed. After the repair, returned to Younkers and talked to Steve who was able to make it right and cut me a check. Customer service is important to them and it shows. I'm now very satisfied. on top of all this, while waiting to get said check, I checked on license plates and they had them but turns out I owed another $75 in fees due to an estimation in the registration fees based on my address. This review is for their car services/maintenance department. I came in to get your standard oil change and a brake inspection as I was experiencing some squealing and brake shudder. It was a little rocky at first since it took about 15 min or so, give or take, until someone even took a look at my car (I was told both mechanics were out to lunch at the same time) but the service I received was pretty good overall. The woman at the front desk of the services department was very helpful and explained to me the process and what may need to be done. When it was certain that the rotors in my front brakes needed resurfacing and brake pads replaced, she took me to the garage and demonstrated further (without me asking) and one of the mechanics also explained how rotors can be warped over time, etc. I appreciated this as like most women, I don't know much at all about the mechanics of cars. (My boyfriend always explains car stuff to me, but I tend to have short term memory when it comes to car mumbo jumbo.) Also, they have free wi-fi and your standard vending machine, water/coffee, and T.V. in the small waiting area. I also appreciated that they allowed me to use a desk in their car sales department so that I can do some work on my laptop and I was not bothered by any salesman. They gave me a ~$30 discount on the services I received and my car got the customary exterior wash and vacuumed interior. read more

Recently moved near by and just went in for a oil change on my Evo, brought my own oil and filter, no problem. Also had a noise checked out, it was just something that needed a minor adjustment. He did tell me he wasn't able to remove my documentation fee i don't know if places can but I was able to get the car I wanted. I just wish it had a few more features but other than that he respected my time and wasn't too pushy or aggressive at all. We took the car for a test drive and she showed me a few more vehicles which I declined because of the mileage on them. I had a great experience here and will be back for my services and maintenance. UPDATE 11-2-18 came here for what I thought was an issue with drum brakes which turned out to be a normal sound. The guy in the parts department is super nice and he told Me what all my options were for accessories. Though you can find parts much cheaper typically on eBay just make sure it's an OEM part. I inquired wether my Vehicle was timing belt or chain because it didn't specify in the manual. They answered all my questions and installed my license plates. My original Sales guy Dane is not your typical salesman. He's never pushy. I will say one of the sales girls at one of the desks wasn't super friendly but I didn't have to deal with her. They got my vehicle washed and vacuumed as well and I was in and out in about an hour and half. Waiting room has free coffee and tv complimentary WiFi and a snack vending machine. read more

We were very pleasantly surprised to see $14,000 cars with 10-year/100,000-mile warrantees, and after a compare and contrast, chose one. After telling Alisa that we were pressed for time, she got us through the financing paperwork FAST. She ran! We then drove up the block to where their in-house financing department is, and Alisa kept the spurs to them to be expeditious. Fast forward a year later and I purchased the last new Evo MR from Shortline Mitsubishi in Denver, CO. Drove it back to Seattle over four days. (No free ways, only back roads - wonderful) I called Younker service dept to make sure the first oil change should be done at 3,000 miles as I had covered close to 2,000 already. The Denver dealership also stated Mobile 1 full synthetic only. The service manager at Younker told me.. "No oil changes until 5,000 miles and your car doesn't need synthetic, it takes regular oil" I then called Pierre Mitsubishi on Lake City Way and asked the same question. The service manager Tony said, yes Only Mobil 1 full synthetic and yes, change it at 3,000 miles.
