We bought a 2013 Nissan Altima 10/21, when we bought it they had to jump it each time we turned the vehicle off, we test drove it and it idled a little funny but thought it was probably the battery (we thought no problem just get a new battery) on and off it acted up but no codes were thrown, end of June this year the TCM went out.... Well after making repairs on other vehicles we decided to see if they would buy it back. As we live 2 hours away from them my husband called and told them what we were wanting to do and the person he talked to said I'm gonna email you an appraisal form please fill it out and email it back with as many pictures of the vehicle as you can, no problem got that done and a couple days later they said they appraised our vehicle at $3,000, but could offer more if it's in good condition... we didn't expect more cause of the mechanical issues... so we get it towed up to Springfield, on the way my husband called the person he had been talking to telling them we had it on a tow truck headed that way, and the guy said sounded good! We drove up there so we could talk with them, and of course sign all the paperwork and when we arrived absolutely nobody knew what we were doing there or anything about anything... apparently these are their "internet" people that you talk to when you contact them... anyways, so we showed them the email of our conversations and they were like well, gonna have to get it in the shop to look it over and it is Saturday (the day we set up to have this all done) and we are a little shorthanded today so it may not be today (there were 5 guys in the shop and no cars, cause that's where we went first) and he was like we are gonna have to check it over and see.... 3 hours later..... they call us back and tell us it's not the TCM (which is the diagnostic report we got before trying to sell it) but the transmission... and they would not buy it at all, little alone the $3000 they had already quoted us, but if we wanted to TRADE for something they would give us a $1000 for it..... after we had already stated SEVERAL times we were not there to trade... so not only are we out the money to get it towed up there because they quoted us an appraisal amount and are not standing by it, we now have to pay to have it TOWED back home 2 hours away... I have all our emails back and forth and the code it's throwing...
If I could give 0 stars I would. I only leave 1 so that I can leave this review. read more
