D & Sons has taken care of my vehicles ever since I moved here in 2015, from routine oil changes to…read moreweird-noise checkups to dying alternators. I always drive older cars, 200k miles or more, so things pop up and they do a good job of diagnosing the issue and resolving it. One of the things I appreciate is the communication. Rusty at D & Sons does a great job of explaining what's going on regardless of your skill level with cars. I've been to other places that either throw a bunch of jargon at you or on the flip side act like "oil leak" will go over your head. Rusty always explains things and gives the options so that I can make an informed decision about it. As a woman, there've been a number of times where I went to other mechanics and got the feeling that they were ready and waiting to take full advantage of my naivety by using jargon to justify a 500% price increase. Here, on the other hand, it feels like they go the extra mile to help me understand the issue, my options, and offer professional recommendations based on what's best for me rather than what would make them the most money. That's the reason I recommend D & Sons to all my friends in the area -- because they are trustworthy, which is priceless. At one point I thought I needed new brake pads (Google was very convincing) so went in to get them, expecting to pay about $500 or so. They took a look and told me they still had a lot of life left on them and explained the noise (if I remember correctly it was solved with a couple of nuts). Even in the rare situation where life happens and they miss something, they take good care of me - I had an alternator go out, they replaced it, then the replaced one went out too. Turns out there was a wire with a short. They fixed the wire and put in a new alternator at no extra cost to me. They don't try to upsell you, aren't pushy, but if something is important they'll let you know. Since it's getting to the point where some fixes would cost more than my car is worth just in parts, if we run into those they let me know my options and if that issue isn't a concern for safety or passing inspection and won't significantly impact anything as long as it's monitored, they'll let me know that not fixing it is also a viable option. In general, their prices are more affordable than most other places I've been or at the very least on par. Altogether, D & Sons is a place I'd recommend to anyone needing car work done.

They also proceeded to install parts and charge me without asking if that's what I wanted to do, which I most likely would've said yes had they just asked. Do NOT go here unless you want to spend a large sum of money to have your problem still be present as well as have new problems arise.

5 STARS FOR WADE! I…read morecannot say enough good things about our salesman, Wade! If you are looking for a new vehicle, do yourself a favor and ask for Wade. He truly went above and beyond for me from beginning to end. He spent three days helping me figure out exactly what I wanted, and not once did he make me feel rushed, pressured, or like I was taking up too much of his time. Financing wasn't the issue--I simply had no idea what I wanted! I looked at different vehicles, changed my mind, and asked plenty of questions, and Wade was patient with me through all of it. What really says a lot about Wade is that he even spent his entire day off talking with me and helping me figure out what vehicle I wanted. He certainly didn't have to do that. That was his personal time, but he was still there answering my questions, going over different vehicles with me, and helping me make the right decision. I honestly don't know many salespeople who would go that far for a customer. And Wade had his work cut out for him because, at 59 years old, this is the very first Chevy I have ever purchased! I have always been a Ford person, and when I started shopping, I actually thought I wanted a new Bronco. Then I took a Bronco for a test drive. I quickly realized it just wasn't the vehicle for me. Once I drove the 2027 Chevy Equinox RS, there really wasn't much of a comparison in my opinion. The Equinox had a much smoother ride, I liked the features better, and overall it just felt like a better vehicle for me. And I have to say it--I think the Equinox looks better too! I absolutely LOVE my new 2027 Chevy Equinox RS! Mine is black with the red RS accents, and it is absolutely gorgeous. It rides so smoothly and has so many features that I'll probably still be figuring some of them out a year from now! I honestly couldn't be happier with my choice. When I went to pick it up, Wade had it completely detailed and ready for me. Of course, it was brand new, so I'm sure it didn't need much, but that extra attention meant a lot. It was spotless, beautiful, and ready for me to drive home. What impressed me most about Wade was that I never felt like I was dealing with someone who was simply trying to sell me a car. He took the time to listen to what I wanted--even when I wasn't quite sure what I wanted myself! He answered my questions, gave me the time I needed, and helped me find the best vehicle for me and my budget without ever pressuring me to make a decision. After being a Ford person all these years, I never thought I'd be writing a review saying how much I love my new Chevy, but here we are! Wade helped make a Chevy believer out of me. I will absolutely recommend Wade to my family, friends, and anyone else looking for a vehicle. And I already know this won't be the last vehicle we buy from him. My husband needs a truck next, and when that time comes, we'll be going straight back to Wade! Thank you, Wade, for your patience, kindness, for giving up your day off to help me, and for making what could have been a stressful experience such a great one. You definitely earned a lifelong customer! If you're shopping for a vehicle, ASK FOR WADE. He's the guy you want helping you! And please make sure you tell him Sherry sent you!
