My daughter was in Juniper Tree from 2017 to 2021. She started Juniper as a replacement of a Waldorf school she had been attending. Looking back, the school director and teacher Yishan's combined approach of Montessori and Waldorf proved more effective for my kid's learning and overall development. The teachers' and staff's personalized attention to each child in a small group setting, a clean, relaxing and cozy atmosphere that comforts children to stay calm and focused, emphasis on children's emotional growth by teaching how to communicate are not what I could get in any other school including the Waldorf school she attended before. I feel privileged to have met Teacher Yishan since she changed the way my child communicates herself. She turns learning into fun each day where children truly learns and internalizes the subject and empowers each child to cultivate their self-esteem and communication skills. When I spot my kid in an emotionally charged situation, I remind her of what she learned at Juniper Tree and she articulates her feelings and reasoning even now after we departed from Juniper Tree. I am happy to see Juniper Tree growing each year. It will have to be since their educational philosophy and practices are genuinely beneficial for children.

Since joining Adlibmasters, my speaking skills have improved tremendously. The club meetings are very organized. Meetings generally start off with two or more members giving speeches. The prepared speeches are followed by an extemporaneous session that gives other members an opportunity to practice their impromptu speaking skills. Finally, constructive feed back and helpful tips are given to the speakers and other participants. Everything is structured, timed and presented in a format with the end goal being to improve its member's speaking skills. I've been in this club for many years and each time I come it seems that I learn something new. I definitely have no regrets after joining Adlibmasters.

It has been for me joining to this club for the past two years and I have never stopped attending the meetings because I *ALWAYS* learn something NEW in every meetings. I was recruited personally by a dental hygiene student, as it seems they are in dire need of patients. When I first entered the clinic, all of the seats were taken up by people, so I was amazed that they seemed to be actively recruiting for patients, essentially. When I got my screening and assessment, I got an inkling as to why. Basically, the students need to do an exam on a live patient in order to pass for their certification, but a patient needs to meet very specific criteria in order to be used... I happen to have been one of them. Yes, everything is free, but it's balanced out by the time that you need to spend there. For example, the student performs dental scaling, notes down their observations, and then they need to wait for their instructor to come and do it again and make their confirmations or corrections. I had a good time working with my dental hygienist in-training, as she was very approachable, communicative, and informative. I learned a lot about dental work through her! I stopped going because I wasn't comfortable with multiple people working on my mouth (mainly happened because multiple students wanted to pass their test using me), I had other life issues that occurred at the same time, it was rough on me to spend the time to commute back and forth to San Jose, and their scheduling availability was not the most ideal. They seemed to only have a morning and afternoon session, each of which can take up to 4 hours. If you happen to be in a situation where you need a free dental screening, cleaning, or deep cleaning, and have time on your hands, I think this is a fine opportunity to explore.
