Claw games inside are gimmicks so be sure to skip--for example, a claw game full of balls, but the balls are too heavy to be even slightly picked up by the claw. The entrance has some coin machines if you want to get the kids a trinket, however they're also covered by people waiting in line in the narrow entry, because there are also a ton of strollers blocking all the cubby holes. They give color coded wristbands to keep track of how much time folks have left, though it's not precise, which I understand but didn't appreciate. I was really disappointed with our visit. The facility has become very dirty, and many of the foam floor mats that are supposed to keep children safe were torn, damaged, or bulging, which is both unsafe and unpleasant. To make matters worse, my young son urgently needed to use the restroom, but it was out of order. That was extremely inconvenient, especially at a place designed for families with small children. I hope the management takes better care of the facility by improving cleanliness, repairing the damaged safety mats, and making sure the restrooms are always available. read more

Took my family here for my little one's birthday. I love that this is a big place with lots of things to do, enough room and activities for big kids and little kids. I can see it being overly packed on the weekends so we went on a Tuesday night. I also liked that it's also one free adult per paid child so it's not like you're paying more than $100 bucks when you actually only have one or two kids jumping around. There is a time limit of about 2 hours and I felt this was more than enough time, they were exhausted after an hour and half. I was surprised at how much stuff they have such as a trampoline pole, climbing structures, and their slides are massive, so fast and scary even for a grown adult such as myself. Pros: they sanitize & clean at the end of the night, entertaining for kids, great to get some energy out when it's raining outside Cons: there's only ONE bathroom. Apparently, when they have parties in the back room, you're not allowed to access it. The last time I used the restroom, it was out of toilet paper, soap, and seat covers. There was an unknown fluid on the floor, thankfully they provide some slippers for you to use. Posted hours on their website are wrong, and also on this yelp page. Tried to go on a Sunday, arrived a little before 7pm, found out they close at 7:30pm. It should be noted, their website allows you to purchase a two hour block from 6pm to 8pm... not sure why that's possible, if they truly close at 7:30pm. TL;DR: needs more than one bathroom, better maintenance / attention to supplies, parties in the back room = no access to the bathroom. Confusing hours - needs to be corrected on their website. This was our first time coming to Jolly Roger Land, background info we have a 2 and 4 year old. I do believe that the play area is perfect for this age. You have to do this visit the right way to really get your money's worth. We came on a Tuesday arrived at 6:30 PM and it was not crowded at all. The prices online and in person are the exact same, out of convenience I decided to just pay in person. Customer service could be so much better, I understand we came at the end of the day, but upon arrival the person working the front was sitting back with her phone in hand and talking to someone on speaker. I initiated the greet and she followed it up with a question on whether or not we had been there before. Upon sharing we were first timers, she says there's a waiver to sign and points. I look back to see what she's point at about twice before I ask what she's referring to. Instead of her getting up to show me, she shares there's a QR code behind the computer lol. Fast forward to payment, she offers us either the 1 hour block or 2 hour block, but I had already seen that their hours were until 7:30... we arrived 6:30 so why would I be offered the 2 hour block and then be asked to leave within the hour?? Overall, great place to bring little ones to tire out, but during a weekday and their non busy times would be ideal! There were about 3 families total outside of ours roaming the place and made it very manageable to play in different areas. Customer service is meh, but I mean the only thing needed from them would be help getting in/paying for entrance. P.S. We did not use the bathrooms, so no input there! read more

I was very glad that there was a new play center in Oakridge. It was nice to have something to take my kids to and have them do something for an hour while I shop or something. The place is very clean and has many different activities and sections for the kids. My main complaint when I visited was that during a busy weekend, they close off their bathroom for private parties which doesn't make sense to me because then you have to leave to use the restroom in the mall or target. I had to grab my daughter with a stinky diaper and walk all the way to another restaurant while she was thrashing her arms telling me she didn't want to leave. What a fake out. My daughter is absolutely obsessed with Jolly Roger Land!!! With her constant requests, we try to make it a habit of visiting Jolly Roger Land at least once every 3-4 weeks. This indoor play center includes a huge play structure to climb, crawl, and slide. There is a ball pit where you can juggle, enjoy a game of toss, and submerge yourself in a "swim". If all else fails, enjoy the trampoline and the limited arcade. Socks are required to enjoy the establishment. Should you need, socks are available for purchase. A waiver must be signed and an adult supervision is a must. Be advised that weekday visits are going to save you a few bucks and it will absolutely spare you from the large crowds- highly recommended if you can make it work. 4 stars overall. Our visits have only been for 'open play' and the pricing is extremely affordable. I appreciate the business prioritizing sanitation. read more

I took him on a weekday so it wasn't too crowded. I really appreciate the staff organizing and cleaning the place often while we were there. Definitely better than Luv 2 Play at Eastridge. It was easy to sign the waiver and pay online. You can also pay in-person if that's what you prefer. :) loved the trampolines and slides here. Don't bother getting a membership here. They clearly only care about "big spenders." Today, they let a birthday party hijack the only restroom in the building. When I complained, the staff literally bragged that the party paid $1,000, as if my membership money doesn't count. It was great to come during the lunch hour on a Thursday as it was pretty empty. Usually in these types of spaces I'm afraid of my toddler getting trampled by bigger kids. There's a good sized play structure, different areas for different ages with for example smaller vs taller slides , ride on toys, a few arcade games, ball pit, a trampoline area. Can really keep a kid occupied for hours! My little one didn't want to leave. It is quite pricey though. $19 for an hour. I've been here a few times over the past couple years- they have always only had one working bathroom. The play area is great for kids and sanitized regularly. However my last visit on Wednesday this week, I was changing my 15 month old in the one working rest room, located behind an employees only area, leading to a storage room. The changing table fell off the wall as I was changing him. Luckily I caught him before he hit the ground. It was a very traumatic experience for us both, the loud noise of the table hitting the ground shook him up for a while. The employee working called the owner while I was gathering my things to leave the restroom and he just said he would be there tomorrow to fix it- didn't ask if anyone was injured. I found this odd. My toddler loves this place, and so do we! It's perfect for toddlers. I recommend coming on weekdays because weekends do get crowded. They have a trampoline area, a big ballpit, lots of slides and climbing, and other things for little ones to play with. In addition, they do have some coin machines and even massage chairs. This place is a dump. Don't go. 1) The bathroom hasn't worked for months. I came 3 months ago and it was broken. Went today, still not working. Same signs up saying it's broken. That's not a broken bathroom, that's a company that doesn't care how inconvenient it is for you to have to leave during your paid session. Even more hilarious, the staff said to use Old Navy's restroom. Why should Old Navy be taking care of YOUR customers? Oh yeah, bc you don't care. 2) The light up peg board has not worked in months. The portions that do light up blink rapidly and are a seizure risk. 3) The game in the ball pit doesn't work. You throw balls at the screen and it doesn't pick up the image, or gives you credit for things you didn't hit. It's not fun when it doesn't work. 4) The room where you shoot balls at people either didn't work, or wasn't turned on. 5) The trampoline room games either didn't work or weren't turned on. 6) They don't put the stuff back. They have blocks that kids can build and stack. My family went at opening today and the blocks were everywhere. Very few in the section where they go, just scattered literally everywhere in the store. Obviously staff doesn't put them back at night. This tells me they also likely don't sanitize effectively at night. When a business has no standards on something obvious, you better believe they have no standards on something less obvious. What an absolute joke and disgrace of a business. I will never be back. I hope this business gets sold to someone who actually cares. read more

Spent a total of five minutes inside until a kid puked next to the ball pit. We ended up needing to tell the staff at the desk who eventually made their way over with paper towels and no cleaning spray. While we waited for staff to help there were children and adults who walked through the vomit pile. One of the adults even went to the front counter for a fresh pair of socks. Three staff members standing around and not one could help -- no camera check, no solution, just blank stares. So there I was, walking barefoot with two babies out of the play center. During our visit, I raised a safety concern with a staff member about a ladder being left out and unattended multiple times while she was on her phone and walking around the facility. The ladder was being used to clean the tops of machines, and visible dust was falling into the play area sometimes on children's faces since she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings due to being on the phone. Because this is a child-focused environment, I felt this was important to point out. I had to raise the concern to the front desk multiple times before she told her co worker anything. After that interaction, the staff member cleaning approached me and stated that the facility is "not meant to be an unattended child place." I explained that I was actively supervising my child and aware of my surroundings. I also noted that in a child facility, parents, particularly those with more than one child, cannot physically watch every child at every moment, which is why overall safety practices are important. She tried to argue the machines are being cleaned for the children's safety. At one point a child climbed her unattended ladder too because she was so focused on other things. I asked to end the conversation and requested to speak with a manager. I was told the manager was not on site, and I said I would follow up at another time. Despite this, the staff member continued to follow me around the facility, asking for my name and stating she wanted to report the situation. I told her multiple times that I did not wish to provide my personal information and asked to be left alone. This occurred in front of my child. As I was leaving, I requested my receipt and the names of the staff involved. The staff member who followed me around attempted to interrupt and said I was not allowed to have that information. Overall, the interaction felt unnecessarily escalated. I am also concerned about customer privacy and how personal information is handled since she wanted my name to look me up. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as safety and respectful communication are especially important in a family-oriented setting. I have pictures I will not be posting but they show her on the phone, with cleaning supplies unattended, and dust flying. For privacy reasons and other children being in the pictures I am not posting but, will provide to management if needed. We arrived when it first opened at 10 am and it still smelled bleachy/clean so they definitely clean it thoroughly, haha. There are a ton of fun activities for kids, mainly gross motor stuff, like slides/climbing areas, a trampoline/bouncing area, various bikes for kids to use, some spinning tea cup-type seats, etc. Make sure to wear socks so you don't need to purchase socks there. read more
