I have had such a positive experience with the staff at this club. Everyone is personable, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Lauren Correia, the Guest Services Manager and previously the Sales Manager, was truly one of the highlights of my time there. She was always warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful whenever questions came up regarding fees, renewals, or membership matters. She consistently made the experience feel personal and easy. Since then, my son has attended both camp and several Parents' Night events, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kids World. The entire team is exceptional. I have experience with other children's camps, and Dasha Nonkin, the Kids Club Manager, really stood out. She was thorough, kind, organized, and very detail-oriented. It is clear that she takes tremendous pride in the camp program and in creating a meaningful experience for the children. My son was treated like gold. He did incredibly well, learned so much, and came away with stronger social skills, a better understanding of teamwork, and so much enthusiasm for the arts and crafts, projects, and activities. He genuinely raved about his experience and wants to continue to join future camps! Alex, the director of the large sports viewing area , was extremely helpful and friendly. We went to go watch the USA versus Belgium World Cup soccer game and I had spoken to him the day prior and he helped to arrange a seating area for my family and few other family friends with their kids as well. He was extremely polite, accommodating, and helpful and wanted to make sure that our experience was not only great for the adults but also the children. He checked on his routinely to ensure that all of our needs were met. I highly recommend going to The Plex for sports viewing with friends and with families. The adults enjoyed drinks, wings, salads, pizzas, sushi while the kiddos ran around and played at the arcade, the bounce house and with the soft soccer ball in the open spaces. There are separate buildings/entrances with a gigantic shared parking lot, but this venue is not the Athletic Club. The Plex is the building toward the right. The place is a dream for sports lovers. Giant screens for watching your favorite teams, and a plethora of facilities and activities for expending energy. An illuminated video game arcade, giant claw machines, hoops, billiards, and the most cornhole boards I've ever seen in a single setting. Multiple rinks on site... four volleyball courts fit into one, two separate soccer fields, and a roller rink where roller hockey is probably also played, from the looks of it. But this past Friday, I partook in Open Skate here. The skating session started with an annoying online waiver process (required for first-timers) and a $15 fee for an hour-and-a-half time slot. They charge an extra fee for skate rentals, but luckily I have my own rollerblades. Also got myself a green bead necklace which they were giving out for free for St. Paddy's week. There were sets of bleachers at each corner, outside the rink, where I left my shoes (underneath) while skating. It was super breezy in there, kept nice and cool during this heat wave. The floor was massive, with color-changing lights glowing in the dim space. A range of music played through the speakers including songs like David Guetta's Titanium, Save Your Tears by The Weeknd, Beauty and a Beat by Justin Bieber, Hips Don't Lie by Shakira, and Airplanes by B.o.B. My favorite part... ZERO skate aids! Mainly skilled skaters on the floor, even a lot of the kids seemingly. Having fewer inexperienced skaters compared to other roller rinks made for a far more enjoyable time. The house lights turned on at the end of the first session, signaling skaters to exit the rink, as there was a 15-minute break before the next group (two time slots available on Friday and Saturday evenings). The Penalty Box Bar and Grill had two sections and order counters. One was an actual bar restricted to the 21+ crowd. The other was the "grill" serving a wide range of menu items including burgers, tacos, sushi, rice bowls, pizza, wings, and more. There was even a separate area with a multitude of craft beers on tap. And the venue offered endless seating options on multiple levels. We had such a great time at The Plex during our 7 year old's birthday party. It's a fantastic place for both kids and adults with so many sports activities to enjoy. The roller skating at their large and smooth rink was the highlight and allowed both kids and adults to burn some calories after a great dinner at their indoor restaurant. The food was also excellent. The pizza and chicken tenders were cooked perfectly, and everything was fresh and delicious. They also made hosting a birthday party incredibly easy by providing the drinks, utensils, plates, and other supplies, which took so much stress off and worry away from our planning. It was honestly a perfect place to celebrate a 7-year-old's birthday party. Most importantly, we want to give a huge shout out to Damien, one of the staff members. He was helpful and preset during the whole event and made a huge difference in our experience. Before and during the party, he took the time to show us around, explain the logistics, answer our questions, and make sure we knew exactly how everything would work. He was friendly, attentive, patient, professional, and he genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. Huge thanks goes out especially to him and his high level of customer service. The Plex is an incredible asset to the San Jose community and a place I truly enjoy visiting. I am there every Sunday for soccer and the facility is always well maintained with a great atmosphere. The food is consistently good and they have a full bar which makes it a perfect spot to hang out after a game. Their arcade is also impressive because they keep it updated with the latest games and it remains a very family friendly environment. Beyond being a great sports and entertainment center, the team there showed immense compassion during a difficult time for my family. They hosted my grandma's memorial service and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Alex and Elsa were particularly amazing and went above and beyond to help us. They even opened the doors early so we could get organized and they played a beautiful slideshow of my grandma on the TVs throughout the space. This rating is based on lack of communication by the facility to it's paying customers and not adequately staffing the venue so host staff of a birthday party are being pulled in many directions. My son had his 6th birthday party at the Plex. I specifically picked this location for the bounce houses and climbing wall. I scouted the place out in January and was told by the kid's corner team that for birthdays the kid's corner included both bounce houses and climbing. The website also indicated this at the time. I was surprised to find on the day of the party that the climbing walls had been removed and a new bounce house area was installed on the soccer field. My son was disappointed that there was no climbing wall, as was I. I had advertised on the invites that there would be climbing. My son and his friends still had fun. I did think the staff could have paid more attention to our party group. We were told to get there early to maximize bounce house time. Myself and most guest arrived 15 minutes prior to start time. However, we did not start walking over to the bounce house area until 5 minutes after our start time. Daniella our host said she was going to the front to direct people. However, when 2 pm came and she was no where to be seen I went to the front and she was checking in regular guests. Also the bounce house time ended at 2:55 pm. So we did not get the full 55 minutes. On an up note the food table was set up nicely. Shout out to Trey who did an excellent job and has wonderful customer service skills. At the end of the pizza party Daniella disappeared for about 15 minutes. She said she was going to be gone for 5. It was frustrating that the host was not present initially at the time of setting up to sing happy birthday. At the very end I voiced my frustration to event organizer Isabella Mendoza about how I was sold something different than initially advertised. She then proceeded to gaslight me and say that the climbing wall has not been part of the party package for over a year and is not in the contract and how I didn't read the information correctly. There was no empathy from her about the situation. She acted like I did something wrong. The only person who truly apologized and listened was Trey. In the end it would have been nice to hear "oh we are sorry that it was not clearly communicated that there would be no climbing wall." If this was said I would have rated this place a 4 out of 5 because the kids still had fun. But when you try to hide mistakes and not own up to them that is just not acceptable. Interestingly there are reviews on yelp from less than a year ago talking about birthday parties with bounce house and climbing wall activities. Please see review from Julia O, from Oct 10 2025 from Gilroy. Her review specifically says for her kids birthday they got to use the bounce house and climbing wall. Also see yelp reviews from Chris C. from San Jose on 10/27/2025 who talks about a birthday party with climbing wall. Finally a review from Thuyvi from Haywood on 4/26/25 which talks about a birthday party package with bounce houses and climbing wall. Ultimately, I wish I would have been given a heads up when booking that the climbing wall would not be available. I could have booked the party for the weekend prior when the wall was present or I may have chosen a different package. It's also rude to tell your guest that they read wrong when they extensively reviewed yelp and google reviews before the party, spoke with plex staff in person and was given no heads up about changes to the event space. Of note; this is not the first time the Plex does not update people. When I originally came to scope out the place I had intended to go roller skating with my family. No where on the website did it say the roller rink was down due to volleyball games. We found out at the door. There is a clear lack of communication with this establishment and it's customers which is troubling. read more

This review is for the Little Kickers program held at The Plex, not the Plex itself. We've been with Little Kickers for two years. The Bunnies class (around age 1) was great...big field, well organized, and very engaging for toddlers. My son loved it. Now that he's in the Cottontails class (2.5-3.5), I'm a bit less impressed. The space is much smaller and feels crowded with bigger kids and parents, and many of the skills feel repetitive from the previous level. At this age, my son is more interested in running and kicking the ball, and he sometimes loses interest. The program is also on the pricier side. As for the Plex, it's a large facility with lots of sports activities, but parking can be very difficult when events are happening. I've had several practices where finding parking was a challenge. read more

We came here for our toddler's Lil' Kickers classes. This is a well-maintained avenue with multiple facilities for soccer, for roller hockey, and a few others. The facility is clean, seems to be pretty new and well maintained. The only downside is the food choices here is minimal. And the location is fairly isolated. Had my son's birthday party here today and we had a blast. Our hosts Hanna and Johnny were both amazing. They were constantly checking in on us and making sure we were good. Drinks for our party were constantly filled and they prepared our spread. We ordered 4 different types of pizza, California rolls, and chicken quesadillas. The pizzas was quite good and the California rolls were fresh. I liked that I was able to come and just put out my decorations and they set up the food nicely with heat lamps and pizza stands. Plates, cups, and utensils were provided making it easier to enjoy the party. Besides having a party its a fun spot to catch a game and have a drink and some food. Tons of TVs all around the facility to watch the game. We enjoyed the little soccer action having our own indoor pitch and the rock wall. The jump house is more for younger kids but kids still had a blast. Only downside we had was the arcade. Half the games took our credits but didn't work. We also had tickets to redeem but there's only one vending machine for it and the line was long so we left. Kept the card for future visits. We came here for my daughter's birthday party. Our party coordinator, Fernando, was so great and so patient with the children. He was so helpful with the activity, serving the food, taking pictures and everything. The venue charges 20% gratitude automatically but it's shared with all the workers. I wasn't prepared so I didn't have any cash with me to tip him extra. By the time I found some, he already left for the day Fernando, if you're reading this, I left some tip with your boss. We had so much food but personally I only had veggies dip and a beef quesadilla so I can only comment on these. They were both delicious. read more

Def worth the big bucks you are shelling out. If you are able to make it for HH, you'll save yourself a bit of $$. Everything was thoroughly cooked, flavored well, and portions weren't too bad.. granted, we did go and order a whole lot. My daughter absolutely loves the inflatable jumpy houses. I like the convenience of being able to let her play and feed her all at the same location. Staff was helpful enough but attentiveness is lacking- make sure to keep a close eye on your kids especially if they are on the younger side. 5/5 stars. It was hard to get my kid to leave openly but bribing her with a few games at the arcades sweetened up the deal. We were really excited to sign up our toddler for soccer here. It is the only place in SJ that takes kids as young as 2 years old. We had friends recommend it, so we decided to try it out despite some red flags. The first red flag was how hard it was to communicate with them. They hardly answered the phone and when they did, we couldn't get a definitive answer. Essentially, we were calling to find out which class (cause there are a lot of them) would have a bilingual coach. Our kid only speaks Spanish and we wanted him to have an inclusive experience. After weeks of calling and emailing back and forth, we finally were told to choose the Wed at 4:30 pm. After paying almost $500 for the Cottontails class, we show up and the first coach was fine, but he was switched out after the second week. Most of the season it was another coach that didn't speak Spanish, though poor kid tried to. This means we had to translate live the entire class. Then we find out that the last 4 weeks was going to be another coach. Second red flag! The other thing I didn't like is the teaching approach for these young kids. The coaches would do a lot of pretend play with elaborate story plots to explain soccer skills which are not developmentally appropriate for 2.5-3.5 year olds. They needed to do less talking and more playing. This is a huge facility and everyone is nice, but for the amount we paid, I feel we did not get what we paid for. The coaches are high school/college students so it is understandable their experience and scheduled are limited, but don't charge us so much then! read more

The space is very spacious and accommodating, which makes it great for big groups and events. Parking is relatively easy, which definitely helps when you're coming with kids and sports gear. We've had two very special family gatherings at The Plex over the past few months, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. In November 2025, we celebrated my mother's 90th birthday there, and in March 2026 we returned for her Celebration of Life. Both events were handled with such care, kindness, and professionalism by the amazing management and staff. A special thank you to Alex Del Angel and Elsa for going above and beyond to make everything perfect. Elsa did a beautiful job creating a slideshow that played on the TVs in the area of The Plex where we gathered to celebrate Mom's life. It meant so much to our family and added such a personal, heartfelt touch. What makes this place especially great for family events is that there's truly something for everyone. My young granddaughters had plenty of games and activities to keep them happily busy, while my kids enjoyed playing pool, darts, and spending time in the arcade. Many members of our family also play indoor soccer there every week, so it's already a place that feels like part of our lives. The Plex is more than just a venue--it's a welcoming community space where families can come together, celebrate milestones, and make lasting memories. It's a little pricey to do a birthday party here, but all the kids seem to enjoy it. The food options are pretty good. The kids love the arcade area and the bouncy houses. Along with Trey and Colton to help with the assist! Johnny was always there making sure we had our drinks in hand made sure we're all good with our food. Sub, asked last night if she could turn off the lights? I said NO, I wear glasses I cant see in the dark. I came for a workout. She turned them off anyway. At 6:30 pm closed the blinds and set up night club lights to "boost the mood." Another lie of a class: everything the description states in the APP is NOT DELIVERED. It's another self serve class that benefits the instructor with an easy paycheck. I understand, nightclub lights are needed for her to pretend she is doing a workout. She is confused. Nightclub and gym don't rhyme. Take the lights away and she cannot deliver. I needed a cardio vascular workout; instead she had us MEOWING like preschool kids. I didn't. On Friday night this class is had the lowest number of attendants ever and still management allows the class to continue for the "CLICK" of it. This is a class meant to fill in your time, if got nothing to do. I got no time for this. I come for a workout. I blame management for this type of false advertisement. Management should take the time to branch out and look for SEASONED AND EXPERIENCE INSTRUCTORS. Instead they use our fees to develop students as instructors and take on recommendations someone gave them. I never hear we will hire new dance instructors. Mind-blowing, this is false advertisement: " TREMENDOUS CARDIO VASCULAR WORKOUT." However, guaranteed you will be running around the class MEOWING LIKE A PRESCHOOL KID! Ridiculous! Funny! they should add in the details of class "we will take you back to your preschool years and we will meow like cats." This is a hot mess!!! Time for new management too!!! read more

They have a lot of cool things to do- we got to do the bocci and cornhole, but I would have loved to check their arcade and rink. I never knew this location hidden in South San Jose existed till a local school fundraiser. They have plenty of parking and its easily accessible from the 101. They have a variety of activities to do including an arcade, indoor soccer, corn hole, and a good size roller skate ring. The prices were reasonable and they did have food and drinks. If you are looking for a great place to relax and play games I would definitely look at The Plex as an option. read more

Enjoy your $20 plastic cup of beer! I purchased a $20 card for my wife and I. Their wall of taps has about 30 beer choices, many of which we were unfamiliar with. I dispensed an "a spit" of a few of them into a plastic cup for her, and the 1 she liked I dispensed a full 12 ounces. Then I tried to dispense a a few samples for myself only to find all the displays read. "Tap Off". I asked the guy who sold me the card and he said the $20 was all used up and showed me his terminal documenting all the minuscule pours. $20 for 1 beer. This review is for our daughter's birthday party in the concourse room. We had a great experience from beginning to end. We've been to many other parties in this same venue, so we decided to go ahead and try it out for ourselves. *Isabel* is the Director of Private Events and she was our main contact. She helped us figure out which package to choose for about 40 kids and around 50 adults and also assisted with catering choices. She was fairly easy to reach by email and phone. On the day of the event, our "party coach" was *Daniella* and she was amazing with the kids! We applaud her for rounding up that many kids and keeping them on schedule from kid zone time, to mealtime, cake cutting, & an arcade session. We wouldn't have survived without her. *Jose* was in charge of catering during our party and he also went above and beyond in making sure there was always food and drinks available throughout the party. We had a spread of pizza, tacos, chicken tendies/fries, charcuterie boards, fruit, and a selection of beverages. Everything was pretty good & well laid out. One qualm I had, but obviously the nature of a venue that also does club sports, was that it was pretty busy due to all the leagues playing that day (volleyball tourney, hockey, soccer, etc.). Parking was a bit tough, but luckily our room was at the farther end of The Plex and had its own entrance. The guy working the front desk was swamped, but he was still very calm and helpful! 5/5 for the great customer service and all the fun the kids (and parents) had. It can get costly, but we didn't have to worry about a thing, so that's a win in my book. (Also no injuries in the kid zone, so that's always great.) read more

It was my first time coming to the plex, I was recommended by a coworker. She told me that this place is great for birthday parties especially since my son was turning 5. Once I arrived there was no one in the front desk to give me any information about how things worked in this place and what activities I could do on a Thursday night. I was waiting there at the front desk for a while and then a few minutes later a young girl with blond hair came to the desk and instead of asking me if I had any questions she just gave me a very nasty look and made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt like this was very unprofessional and it made me feel very unwelcomed. I decided to not let this affect me since it was my child's birthday and he was already very excited about all the fun games there was at the arcade. I later found my way to the soccer desk where a young man named Victor helped me with all of my questions that I had about this place, I did tell him that I was going to be expecting a group of people coming to the plex to celebrate my sons birthday. He was so kind and offered to help me reserve a few tables for my guests. He did inform me that there was a kids corner and it came included with rock-climbing. At kids corner I was helped by an employee named Brenda and she was super sweet she helped me with creating the accounts for my children and also helped the other parents as well. She was continuously checking in on me making sure I was having a great time. She made me feel very safe and cared for, she was very wonderful! Once the children's times was up, my guests and I headed back to the tables Victor helped me reserve. I later ended up bumping into Victor and he checked in on me asking if I needed any help or if I had any questions he was here to help me. I felt very catered to and despite the awful situation that I endured in the beginning both Victor and Brenda automatically made this day better. As I was leaving I saw the same girl with the blond hair on her phone and did not even care to acknowledge any customers who were coming her way. She just seemed to have an attitude every time someone dared to interrupt her while she was on her phone, I felt like this is the type of employee that can ruin a company and someone's first experience. First experiences are everything and can even make a person not want to come back again. No one should feel unwanted in a company as a customer. read more

We had 24 kids and Daniela kept them all in order! The kids played indoor soccer, jumped in bounce houses, had a pizza party in our own private room, then played at the arcade. This review is just about the volleyball facilities. Came here for the first time for vball league games. Looked promising at first, lots of stuff for everyone. Would have considered coming here for vball open play. But after a series of league games, learned the design of the courts are terrible. Low beams FREQUENTLY interfere with play. Do not use the beer wall! We loaded a card up with credits the last time we were there due to a larger group and not knowing how much beer people would want.
