This is a decent park. Quite big, they have tennis courts, a workout area and...a lot of dogs which was not great for trying to use my Onewheel.

It has playgrounds for both adults and kids!

It has playgrounds for both adults and kids to enjoy. I think that's really wonderful. When I first visited I missed this section. So I'm glad I came again.

One of the nicer City parks located in a swell Willow Glen neighborhood and surrounded by cool, old houses. It's got all the usual amenities that one would expect from a good park: -Beach volleyball court -Basketball courts -Tennis courts -Horseshoe pit -Old School 80s-style "exercise course" at the west end of the park -Playground & Tot Lot -Decent restrooms -Picnic tables w/ BBQ pits -Grassy fields to stretch the little one's legs -A ±1/2-mile decomposed granite track that encompasses the park; this is one of the nicer features of this place and can get pretty packed. So, get there early! I heard from one of the local residents that the place can be a zoo on the weekends, but I haven't been out there on a weekend in many moons so I can't verify it. So, in summation, great park with lots of amenities.

It's a nice friendly neighborhood park. It's spacious and big enough to play soccer, basketball, and tennis

I love this park. This is my second time coming here and it's so peaceful and big. The children really enjoy this park. I know my two nephews did. They had so much fun when I brought them. I recommend this park for everyone.

What a great park, really, not yelpified yet? Not only has a great park for the little kids, a park for the big kids, 2 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts and multiple baseball diamonds, but there is room to fly kites and picnic tables and grills. Lots of street parking and a dirt track around the outside for jogging.

Clean neighborhood park. We took our kids here to play basketball. They have 2 full courts, playground and a baseball field.

They have a deep understanding of how to nurture young athletes, making it easy for kids to grasp the fundamentals while also fostering a competitive mindset that builds self-confidence, mental toughness & the motivation to keep get better. My son started playing orange ball tennis at this academy during the COVID lockdown, when most other extracurricular activities were suspended for an extended period. At the time, I was simply grateful for the physical activity and mental benefits he gained from being outdoors, playing a sport that he enjoyed. As he progressed, he had the opportunity to participate in Junior Team Tennis (JTT), where he played alongside other junior players and developed his match play in a supportive environment while being supervised by the coaches. As his strokes became more consistent and refined, his training evolved beyond just how to hit the ball to understanding why--helping him construct points strategically, play aggressively with heavy topspin while managing risks, and make smart decisions under pressure. The level of individual attention and feedback he received was instrumental in his development. Coach Tom and his team (Daniel, Kyle, Gaby, Fernando & others) were always approachable and highly supportive, guiding him through challenges in a positive environment while sharing valuable insights from other top players. With continued training and experience, his progress accelerated, and before long, he became a top-ranked junior player in NorCal, competing in high-level tournaments across the country. As a parent, I deeply appreciate that Coach Tom emphasizes hard work, sportsmanship, and resilience--qualities that extend far beyond the court and shape kids into not just stronger athletes but also well-rounded individuals and future leaders. Their track record speaks for itself: they have produced many top-ranked junior players at the state and national levels, won the 2024 USTA award for the best junior program in NorCal, and consistently dominate JTT leagues. I highly recommend NorCal Tennis Academy to any family looking for a world-class junior tennis program that truly invests in their players' growth and success.

Before the game, the only thing I was hearing from all the coaches in Lifetime Activities was, they are the strongest among all the teams in the league. My experience when I saw the NorCal Orange team was nothing different than what I heard from coaches over here. And they beat our team badly on the fist match. Few things why they beat our team was about their consistency, rally and lot of rally.... Other than that, I don't think I could see anything fancy on those players. Next day I took help from a known coach who was working for NorCal tennis academy, and put a trial class for my son. First time that day I spoke to Coach Thomas about my son's feedback and trust me it was not good as a parent at all. Because right on my face he told, "he is not ready for yellow, he need to get trained more on green dot before we try him in yellow ball group". I was upset but excited to see how he will work with my son. This was around 2years back when I came to NorCal academy, back then and now, its a big difference and improvement on my sons technique and foot work. Now he just turned 10 but he is getting trained with high school group kids those are really high UTR players. The biggest point why I am with NorCal and wanted to be with NorCal is, they have something unique on their program which I have never seen anywhere before. 1. They don't care who the kid is or they know kid before or not. For them every kid is a tennis player and they wanted to help them. 2. They recognize the talent based on players effort and commitment on the court and put their extra effort to excel his game to the next level. Thats the best thing I have ever seen in any academy till date. - Coach Thomas watches each and every Kid personally to improve the kids game and explains to the parents about the improvement areas. - I have seen him always moving around with different courts to watch whether any one need extra help. 3. The culture is really family oriented and all the coaches are really fun loving. But they can switch the gear anytime, if you as a player wanted to mess around with the coach :) I would really recommend NorCal tennis academy if at all you are looking for a place for your kid or yourself where you only wanted tennis, tennis and tennis.... This is the place to go...
