We are very happy with our experience at SAI Tennis Academy. In just 4 months, my daughter went from a total beginner to consistently rallying and serving. Coach Yussuf is fantastic--his teaching style is highly effective and great with kids. If you want to develop your or your child's tennis skills, this is the place to go! read more

I have been working with Anuj for about 2 months now. Over that time, I have seen steady improvement in my weakest areas and can now serve and rally with decent consistency. Sai Tennis has been a fantastic experience! Coach Anuj is an excellent teacher - so kind, patient, and skillful. Coach Anuj is amazing with kids! He's patient, professional, and really knows how to make tennis fun and engaging for young learners. My child always looks forward to his lessons. Highly recommended! read more

Coach Anuj is really good with kids and quickly developed a great rapport with them. He is very consistent and works hard with the kids as they learn the right technique and foot work. We have also had coach Andy sub in sometimes and he too was really great. They are very patient with the kids and are very invested in getting them to progress. Also Sanjay the business owner is very flexible and approachable and is able to work with us to adjust the lessons according to our needs. It shows they value people more than just existing as a business. I highly recommend Sai Tennis Training read more

It's really great academy only for re-creational purposes....it's waste of time and money. If you not happy with my response, ask coaches / x-coaches, how many of their kids are playing competitive tennis. please ask them with proof....it's shows how this academy would be.... Good luck.... read more

Definitely had a very positive experience learning tennis with coach Anuj. He was always enthusiastic, encouraging and gave very good improvement tips for forehand, backhand, serves. He was patient and pushed just the right amount to get better performance! I surely recommend him for tennis coaching! read more

Am 50+. Me and my high school son joined SAI tennis academy and we have enjoyed the tennis classes. Coaches have been very pleasant, courteous and accommodating. They are very professional and very good in tennis coaching. Big shout out to SAI academy. They are great with very young kids as well, we have seen 5, 6 yr olds come to the academy... Great place to start your tennis no matter what age.. read more

My son has been with Sai Tennis for 3 years. He loves training with Coach Paras and Coach Andy. They taught him so much about the game and they are some of the best coached in the Bay. We see a lot of improvement in our son's game, seriousness with his practice, and enthusiasm to keep up with tennis. read more

Sai academy is really great. We went to Sanjay and tried some different coaches for my 8 year old. We found that Coach Yousuf was gentle, Coach Andy is serious and Coach Paras makes it fun. We were able to get my 8yo to learn from different techniques from different coaches for about 2 years. Sanjay is very professional, and prompt in responding and scheduling. Great experience! read more

A great place if you're an adult with or without prior experience and want to learn some tennis. My wife and I have been training with Sanjay's coaches for 1.5 years and we're happy with our progress. We had no prior tennis experience, We can play casual games with our friends after some sessions, we are still making steady improvements with the coach and we still really enjoy tennis. They also offer a pretty flexible cancellation policy, which is a plus since your schedule may change all the time as an adult. read more

We used Sai Tennis Academy to help my 14 year old refine her form, serve and overall technique. Yalta was instrumental in that by catering specific lessons to improve her footwork and positioning. With his help my daughter's serve improved tremendously. She has developed a very sound second serve that has helped her in the HS matches. She hits weekly with Andy and he is helping her with court positioning and movement. Both coaches are super friendly and helpful. read more

My wife and I have started taking lessons from Youssouf since late last year and we have seen amazing progress on our techniques and consistencies. We are at two different playing levels (my wife was new to tennis lessons, I've played since I was a kid) but Youssouf designed the drills and lessons very well to help both of us benefit from our sessions. Now my wife is in love with tennis and we are looking into playing some local USTA tournaments. Highly recommend Sanjay and his team of coaches! read more

Andy is an amazing coach for my 9-year old starting in tennis. We very much appreciate how he verbalizes the mechanical techniques by providing clear instructions on how to swing (not just move his arms but also legs vs hips, shifting his weight, taking smaller side steps etc. We started with the 10 course package + 4 additional, and will pause on tennis while my son advances in other extracurriculars, but hope to come back to Sai in a year or so. read more

We started tennis with Coach Yousef just before the pandemic hit and are so glad we decided to continue our outdoor sporting activity. My son and I took private lessons from Coach Yousef on a weekly basis and have thoroughly enjoyed our lessons as we built our tennis skillset over the last 2-3 years. I highly recommend Coach Sanjay and Coach Yousef for all of your tennis lesson needs! read more

Sanjay is one of the best tennis coaches I've ever met in Bay Area! His tennis technique is top-notch for sure and he knows how to encourage and drive his students to next level. He always shows his professional and respect to ppl on the court. To be honest, some sport coaches are more like a "babysitter" and they don't really push you to make any progress. They always say you are doing a great job even the kids actually don't ... ... but Sanjay is not one of them. He is the one who is serious and diligent with coaching. You won't regret having Sanjay coach you or your kids, I believe! read more

I had a wonderful experience with SAI tennis. Sanjay was extremely flexible in booking my lessons since I couldn't have lessons at the same time every day. I loved working with Amit as my coach. Me and my husband David took a couple of classes with Andy. We had so much fun! Andy is very experienced, very patient with us, and he always takes the time to explain proper techniques with us. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Sanjay and Andy are both amazing tennis coaches who I would highly recommend to tennis players of any level. I started out playing tennis without any professional instruction, so while I could hit some basic shots, I didn't have great technique and didn't quite know what I was doing wrong or how to fix my issues. I started out with semi-private lessons with Sanjay who thoroughly explained the proper techniques and helped me correct my form in a surprisingly short period of time. I eventually transitioned to having Andy as my coach due to scheduling conflicts, and Andy's professionalism, thoroughness, attentiveness, and constructiveness honestly made me enjoy learning tennis more than I had expected when I first signed up for lessons. His way of explaining and demonstrating proper form and technique was easy to understand, and he's always kind, patient, and respectful in every single lesson. Thank you both for being such a significant part of my tennis journey! read more

I did a private lesson with Youssof. The lessons were great experience to me. Youssof was attentive to detail, punctual, and did great job on encouraging me to focus on right pose and improving stamina. I had to quit because of my personal situation, but I would love to resume lessons with Youssof. read more

I was taught by Coach Youssof from SAI tennis and I highly recommend the lessons. He is very patient and understanding. Before coming to SAI tennis I was suffering from hitting consistent ground strokes. Youssof quickly recognized that I tend to be too aggressive and overhit the ball. He recommended me to have a more defensive mindset when the ball is deep and hit with more topspin. By following his tip, my game has hugely improved. Additionally I like to highlight the owner, Coach Sanjay has always been very nice and responsive. He even invited me to play doubles with them on the weekends which is a great opportunity to apply what I have learned in my lessons. Overall, I highly recommend SAI tennis if you are looking to take your game to the next level. read more

I took 12 lessons with coach Amit. Amit is encouraging and patient. Thanks to those rally and drill, my major improvements are ground stroke (forehand and backhand), then some slicing and volley. The downside is the coaching of serve. The progress I made for my serving was not that much although some tips from Amit help. There is definitely partly due to my own issue like inconsistent ball tossing. (I do practice a lot.) Later on, I figured out by myself (via watching YouTube and practice) that since I am not tall enough, so that flat serve that I was practicing has high failure rate (I do use continental grip). And, I figured out these days that the slice serve with pronation is the better way for me to have consistent serve. At that time, Amit said everything I did is right but just tossing. Overall, Amit need to come up with some systematic way for the teaching of powerful serving in the future. Also, it would be great if Amit can spend less time on the screen while coaching. read more

My daughter has been taking lessons at SAI Tennis Training for several years. Coach Yossof helped my daughter build a strong foundation by providing encouragement and close guidance. We registered for the 8 lessons with coach Amit and we were complete beginners to tennis. Amit is a great coach, he is very encouraging and patient. We learned a lot of skills and were able to rally after the lessons. It was a lot of fun. Highly recommended! read more

My husband and I have been taking lessons with Coach Youssof since we just got started with tennis. We were looking for a coach whom we could learn the fundamentals and we are happy with our progress. Coach Youssof is really patient and trying to incorpate a lot of drills so that we can improve consistency and build confidence. Also Coach Sanjay who runs SAI tennis is really reliable and responsive all the time. My husband and I are pleased that we are able to enjoy learning tennis during COVID with SAI Tennis! read more

My partner and I took 10 courses on tennis fundamentals and then 4 additional courses to improve our retention. Before we embarked on our training, we had poor control of the ball. We could swing but in extremely bad form which caused the ball to go in a random direction. In some cases, we ended up losing balls to nearby traffic. Oops! This made the game a quite unenjoyable experience. Enter the training. The first few classes helped us to learn all 6 basic swings of tennis: groundstroke forehand and backhand, forehand and backhand volley, serve, and finally overhead smash. One of instructors, whom, Sanjay, the owner of the business, recommended has been extremely very helpful and have gone out to repeat the instructions in different ways to ensure we fully understood technical aspects of the game. Just FYI, we are deaf and communication in general has been a barrier to learning. We just finished our 14th class and we can appreciate the improvements. We can anticipate the incoming ball better than before which allows us to get to the right position and return the ball in a timely manner. I remember having a bit of soreness in my arm before taking courses and now I have not experienced any pain due to correct techniques used. We can maintain the back and forth rallies and volleys consistently without losing a ball to the traffic! Hopefully we can continue this progression through the winter. However if we are unable to maintain its momentum, we would take their lessons again to help refresh our skills when springtime is around the corner! read more

My husband and I have been taking lessons with Sanjay for ten weeks now after a year on and off of lessons from another company. In just ten weeks, Sanjay has completely changed our game. We're now able to serve and rally consistently with each other and start to think about point construction. He focuses on the fundamentals and has an eye for detail. He makes tons of small adjustments to perfect our motion. He also incorporates drills, so we get a bit of a work out too. As adult learners, we also really appreciate how he clearly explains the rationale behind why we should do things a certain way. We're so pleased with our clear progress in such a short period of time, and we are eagerly looking forward to our continued improvement under Sanjay's coaching. read more

Sanjay is such a great teacher. I had only played a little tennis - then my husband and I wanted to play together, but I wasn't good enough .... I asked Sanjay to help me beat my husband, and taught me so much! Now I feel so much more confident with my game and I can totally play socially - and beat my husband! Thanks Sanjay! You're the best. read more

Definitely recommend SAI tennis! My wife and I have been taking lessons with them since Jan 2022. We were both total beginners with no background. Our game has improved a lot in the past few months, and would recommend these great coaches to anyone! read more

I had a bad technique, could not hit Top swing, could not play backhand consistently. But than I found Sanjay's SAI tennis academy. My super friendly and great coach Youssof worked on each part of my game for 14 weeks, Starting from the correct way to grip, court awareness, Footwork drills, Forehand drills, Backhand drills, Slice/Drop shots, Slice/Kick Serve, and approach shorts. He helps to Correct what needs to be corrected after one session then uses drills to reinforce proper technique. Go with SAI. They will exceed your expectations. My game has changed 180 degrees within 3 months and I am really enjoying tennis now. Thanks again Sanjay and Youssof! you are awesome, keep it up read more

I've been very pleased with this tennis school. Owner provides weekly reminders, prompt with questions, and so easy to work with. My son who is adverse to anything physical has never complained about attending his lessons--that's because he is seeing improvement himself. The coaches are all encouraging and high level in terms of teaching mechanics and technique. My son has even voluntarily asked to rally at our local tennis court near school--which speaks volumes as very little takes him away from his computer. I would highly recommend Sanjay and all the coaches he employs here! read more

Our 14 year old daughter has been taking tennis lessons with Coach Youssof of SAI Tennis for a year now. She was a beginner with some very basic skills when she started. In one year Coach Youssof has her tennis skills developed to where she is rallying and is consistently "Queen of the Court" at her schools tennis program. Winning against peers in her age group that have been playing tennis for several years. The program that Coach Youssof and Coach Sanjay have designed is customized to meet the player at their skill level and moves to the next phase once the player has mastered a skill. They emphasize good practices over speed of learning which makes for a solid foundation for their players. Our daughter genuinely enjoys the lessons and looks forward to her sessions with Coach Youssof. She has become a confident player and will most likely play tennis as a lifelong sport thanks for SAI Tennis and both Coach Youssof and Coach Sanjay! I without any hesitation highly recommend SAI Tennis for their excellent youth tennis program. read more

Hands down the best tennis coach one can ever have. There are a lot of coaches out there who can mechanically teach you techniques, but very few coaches would really be vested in your improvements and very few who would play a critical path in ur progress and success and Sanjay has truly been instrumental in transforming my game from beginner level to advanced intermediate level. He is professional on the court and a true friend that you can share your life and experiences with off the court. He is extremely friendly with kids and knows techniques to motivate them and most importantly make them feel happy when they play tennis. Kids enjoy his company and a lot of them have grown up with him from age 6 to 18 read more
