His ability to engage our large and diverse group while making it a fun and memorable experience for all was extremely impressive. Even people who normally roll their eyes at these sorts of activities were participating and having a great time. It didn't matter if you were an experienced chef, a novice, a senior leader, or a newbie on the team....everyone loved it! His location was a bit out-of-the-way for our company and took us about a half hour to drive to (which is not a distance we normally travel for dinners/activities). On the way there, some people were complaining about how far away it was, but THE MOMENT chef tre started talking with everyone there was zero additional mention of the drive (and it wasn't mentioned again a single time after the fact). Thank you chef Tre and team for an amazing night!

Two stayed out to be judges. Each group was provided a mystery box of chicken thighs, and mahi-mahi for protein. We also had broccoli, orange, marmalade, rosemary, and black beans. We all had fun, laughing along with Tre. He is hilarious! The meal he and the other chefs prepared for us, was also delicious. Free-flowing, fun and laughter! Would definitely recommend this venue for other team building events.

I recently moved to Plano and have been researching fun activities to participate in. Running in 90+ degree temps with humidity will tire a girl out! Something needs to be indoors. Enter, an incredible pastry class. I'm no rookie when it comes to culinary classes. I love them! I love cooking and baking and always learn something new from a class. It's something I throughly enjoy. This experience was 5 STARS! Everyone was so warm, friendly, inclusive and kind. We really had the absolute best time. I've been trying to feel a sense of community after relocating and the other students, as one told me are "my people". My week days have been spent in an altogether different environment that regardless of if it's cultural has brought me down in a real way. I was looking for an afternoon of joie. The class was so inviting, hands on and fun! We made a bunch of items, shared snacks and our creations together. On break another student in class gave me a tour of Central Market since I'd never been to one. Grabbing coffee, exchanging business cards with others, bookmarking a ton of new spots to try and learning about other fun activities was truly worth every dollar spent to join this 4hr class. It felt exactly like what I had imagined moving to Texas with Texans would feel like. It attracted the finest residents. I can't wait to return. They have an all star line up of classes and August is hatch chili month. I will surely be signing up for at least one class a month. The florals are also totally worth mentioning, the store and class is adorned in the most incredible arrangements. It really was such a lovely class. Now if I can find someone to teach me Mahjong! The store is also gorgeous! I'm definitely at the age where I couldn't care less about local bars, show me a stunning grocery store! Coming from Los Angeles, dare I say it... Central Market might be better than Erewhon.

I delayed writing this post in hopes that by the end of the weekend Angie would have sent me an…read moreemail or called with an apology, but that never happened, so I'm here to leave my review on our experience at her place of business. I booked Flour Power to host my daughter's 11th birthday party with 15 children, and the entire experience was a major letdown. From the outset, communication was disorganized. The pricing listed online was misleading--what was advertised as a 16-guest package actually only covered 11 kids, with an extra $25 charge per additional child. The venue was tiny and cramped, far from what you'd expect from a business specializing in children's parties. I was given minimal time to set up my own decorations, and the limited space made it feel chaotic from the start. The cooking class was poorly planned and executed. Only four dough-making stations were available for 16 girls, forcing groups to sit and watch rather than participate. The activities were basic and boring, with little to no effort from staff to keep kids engaged. After the dough session, half the girls lost interest while waiting. Next was sauce-making and garlic bread, which was just spreading butter and Kroger parmesan on a store bought French loaf--another "group activity." The girls then sat bored for about 20 minutes while the sauce simmered. I asked Angie multiple times to play music to liven up the atmosphere, but the music was barely audible and she never fully fulfilled my request. A staff member's rude attitude stood out. Several mothers privately told me about her eye-rolling, glaring, and bossy tone toward the girls. Even some older girls commented on her unkindness. I considered addressing it during the event but wanted to avoid interrupting or causing anymore negativity. When it was time to check out, I asked Angie if she could show me my remaining balance. She opened her laptop and quickly clicked through a few screens. Before I could say anything, she landed on a page where she told me I could leave a tip. At that moment, I hadn't yet discussed my overall experience or shared feedback from myself and other mothers and athletes. This feedback was important hoping she would consider it to improve future parties I was caught off guard because nothing in the email confirmation mentioned gratuity, the party itself was already $700 and the way she pushed the tip in my face struck me as both unprofessional and tacky. Given our concerns about the evening and how forcefully she insisted on a tip, I told her we wouldn't be leaving one at this time. That's when things took a turn for the worse. She gave me a disgusted glare and said, "Are you serious? You're not going to tip us? Who does that? Don't you think we deserve a tip?" As a luxury business owner myself, I couldn't believe how she handled the situation--especially in front of my 11-year-old daughter and her friend. I was left speechless. Then, she slammed her laptop shut and said, "I'll just take it out of my own pocket!" I requested a private conversation away from children and staff to voice my concerns, all of which fell on deaf ears. Angie then continued to openly berated me in front of my daughter and staff as I made my way back to the front, questioning why I wouldn't tip even after insulting me multiple times during our private conversation. When I mentioned I'd leave an honest review based on her unprofessional & erratic behavior, she threatened to leave one about my business despite having no prior knowledge of me or my business. My daughter and her friend both left visually upset by the interaction & were even brought to tears on our way home. Overall, the event was overpromised and underdelivered. The space was cramped, outdated, the activities poorly managed, staff were rude, and Angie handled the situation unprofessionally. I would not recommend Flour Power for children's parties. EDIT: Added message in response to Angie. Angie- Your response contains several inaccuracies. The girls were engaged with each other, not the cooking class. During an attempt to address my concerns with you privately, you raised your voice and berated me for not wanting to leave you a tip based on our experience. Your behavior that evening included unprofessional remarks directed at me in front of your staff, my daughter, and guests. While I have documented the full series of events on my phone, the focus here is on the factual recounting of what occurred. To state that tips are appreciated but not expected is simply untrue. Given how the situation was handled, I'm sure you must feel embarrassed. However, responding to my honest review with denial and misrepresentation is not the professional way to address these concerns. I trust you will consider this feedback seriously. The best path forward is to acknowledge and address issues professionally rather than denying or misrepresenting how the event unfolded.

It was 13 8&9year old kids and the 3 who hosted the party were so happy, patient, they really enjoyed the kids and the cooking. Lots of places have paid helpers who do their job at parties. But here, they were so engaging - it really made my sons friends feel welcome. Spills and loud voices didn't phase them, they all had such a kind way of redirecting the kids who needed some guidance. The best part for Mom and Dad was that we walked in and needed nothing. They did it all. Water, lemonade, snacks, decor, cupcakes, candles. Even a lollipop party favor. On a busy Fall Saturday with kids sports in full swing, this was a huge blessing to my husband and me. I would highly recommend this studio for camps and especially parties!

As mentioned in the other reviews, the cost is $16.95 pp. When they seat you, you get a choice of three different entree's (i chose the seafood cake with Orzo, my mom chose the grilled pork chop with polenta) along with fresh made bread, homemade fabulous strawberry lemon marmalade, and flavored butters. In addition to that, you have access to the various food stations. They have a salad and soup station, an omelet station, a pasta station, and a dessert station. They provide you with basic beverages such as coffee, iced tea, orange juice - but you can also BYOB so making your own mimosas are definitely an option. I could go on an on about how wonderful my meal and experience was - i really cant say enough but here's a short version: My seafood cake was heavenly. it consisted of crab, shrimp, and cod. it was mostly seafood and didn't require along of binders. I was seriously disappointed that it was gone so quickly. Keep in mind, your entree is more of a small plate, however with all the other goodies at the stations you'll definitely leave stuffed. The soup i got was a corn chowder that was excellent. Of course, you cant go wrong with an omelet! it was fluffy and perfectly cooked. I passed on the pasta station because i was getting too full and I didn't want to miss out on dessert. I loved how all of the staff was eager to talk about the food, process, etc. Their service was impeccable and made our experience very memorable. They even had a guy there playing the acoustic guitar. If you love food and love being around people who enjoy discussing ingredients and techniques this place is for you. Heck, even if you just want to eat and chill this place is for you! Make sure you call ahead for a reservation. Also: i would consider this place more kid-tolerant than kid-friendly.
