There were 3 halls to choose from varying in size, each beautiful. We chose the 9th floor because it had an option of adding their lovey suite that is attached to the banquet hall by a private door. It too was beautifully decorated. We had an after party in the suite and spent the night there after the celebration. Truly amazing. I highly recommend this location for Weddings and special events. I had my wedding reception at this venue a year ago today (November 2024). For about 90 minutes the…read morepower went out in the entire building. My wedding reception was held on the 7th floor. When the power went out, there were guests who were stuck in the elevator... For 90 minutes! The Dallas Fire Department had to come and extricate people from all 4 elevators. Some people were forced to climb up 7 flights of stairs to get to our floor. Other guests ended up leaving the wedding altogether because we just never knew WHEN the lights and power were going to come back on. There was no back up generator or power source that the building could draw from. We were not able to start the wedding reception until AFTER 10pm! There was a quinceañera on another floor, and a 70th birthday party being held on a different floor. Everyone had NO POWER! (To be fair, when my mother came to check out this venue the week before the wedding, she said she had to take the stairs down, b/c the power went out then too - in the middle of the day!!!!) So for over 1 hour, our vendors were not able to serve our 400 wedding guests! I lost an hour of service from every single vendor - which ended up totaling over $12,000 lost. When I contacted the owners of the venue, they refused to take any accountability, saying they were not at fault. They refused to refund us even a fraction of the amount that we were owed. They refused that they owed us anything at all! We spent months trying to work out an agreement / negotiate compensation with the owner, to no avail. Nothing. Not even a dime. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANY OTHER VENUE FOR YOUR EVENT! IT'S NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY... SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA AND BOOK YOURSELF A DECENT VENUE. I would give this place 0/5 stars if I could. I highly do NOT recommend.

My only hardship was with some contractors they hired to help us at end of party. They did not match the caliber of event 1013 and were smoking during their contracted time to help and were more concerned with eating our food versus serving it and wrapping it up at the end.
