His location was a bit out-of-the-way for our company and took us about a half hour to drive to (which is not a distance we normally travel for dinners/activities). Each group was provided a mystery box of chicken thighs, and mahi-mahi for protein. We also had broccoli, orange, marmalade, rosemary, and black beans. We all had fun, laughing along with Tre. He is hilarious! The meal he and the other chefs prepared for us, was also delicious. Free-flowing, fun and laughter! Would definitely recommend this venue for other team building events.

They could have offered us a replacement class or a pickup order of new fresh macaroons, but we were simply told "sorry, it happens sometimes". Everyone else has such great reviews and photos on Yelp, so I'm really sad I did not get that same experience. I totally understand that things happen, but for $79 I expected edible macaroons to take home, and instead I got hard rocks that needed to be thrown away.

She was quick to respond to my questions before the event. Chef Rose greeted us at the door and welcomed us into a fully prepped kitchen. Chef Rose got to work, putting us to work. It was AMAZING. We made the most amazing meal, and we learned so much as well. My husband is a foodie and loves to cook, so I was slightly worried he would be like this is lame. I'm the baker in the house (although my husband makes amazing souffle's) and I walked away with tips and and tricks that I will definitely be using in the future! It was absolutely delicious, and he made the entire class effortless. Taught us a lot about chocolate along the way and imparted great advice for an easier time with remaking it. Case in point: many years ago I made a lamb cake for Easter. Growing up, my grandmother had always made one and I thought it would be fun to try. My young adult children at the time, named my creation a "Rat Cake." I can see how they might have come up with that. I used chocolate sprinkles as whiskers and now that I think about it, I don't think a lamb even has whiskers! :-) For the past couple of years I have gone to Cake Carousel for help in picking up the needed supplies to make a decent looking Easter lamb cake. My result has not been laughed at so, I'll take that as a win! Their tub of whipped buttercream is perfect! Not too sweet, reasonably priced and it spreads on great. They have precious candy flowers that instantly elevate your cake. The grandkids even had fun helping me decorate! It was the first time for a lot of us and instructions were clearly explained so that we understood what would give us the best results. There are a lot of colors, tools, and other items that you can use to make your piece truly your own. The not so good was the customer service. I don't know if it was because we were a large group, but the individual that was initially set to assist us with explanations and gathering our paint seemed to be put out and not happy to help. She wasn't really available to us as we had questions come up as we started painting our pieces. It wasn't until later where another individual seemed to take over that the mood shifted. She was very attentive and helpful. She came and checked up on us a few times. I regret not getting her name but she was exceptional. She was the saving grace for the experience. Overall, a fun experience that I can see myself doing again with friends for a girls night, and something to do on date night with my husband. I'm still waiting for my piece to be completed so I'm excited to see it when it's ready.
