    You Move Me was awesome! They helped move my elderly mom from her home in Thornton into an apartment in Fort Collins. They paid extra special care to her fragile belongings. Geron was so friendly and professional, he set her right at ease during a potentially stressful time. They were affordable and professional but more importantly, they were so personable that my mom won't stop talking about how great they are. Thank you so much to the team at You Move Me, it means a lot to be able to depend on this moving company for taking care of my mom's move when I live out of state!

    MOVERS BEWARE!! Worst moving company I've ever known. Why is this the worst moving company? I'll explain: 1) I was going to put this part later on the list, but with the times we are living in, it is important to be first. Masks were not worn during the move. I don't care if you take your mask off outside or while driving, because you should, but you should wear a mask at all times when inside the person's home. This was not followed at all. They wore them at first but as soon as they entered the premises, they took their mask off as if it was their own home. This, for one, doesn't seem legal and am considering turning this over to the proper authorities. 2) Taken from the company's website at https://www.youmoveme.com/qa DO YOU HIRE DAY LABOURERS OR DO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN EMPLOYEES? You Move Me uses only our own employees, who are thoroughly trained and certified to be Move Me Specialists. Our movers are awesome! - This is a complete lie. When they moved my mother it was on a weekend. They originally showed with 3 movers, then was told that they will have to hire more to move her in a timely manner. After some discussion she decided to do it. The mover himself told us that they do NOT work for the same company, they use others to come in when more help is needed. That's false advertisement... 3) Their employees are not professional in the slightest. Whether it's the loud back and forth talking and cussing between the employees, or movers with their phones on speaker as they blast explicit music in the hallways of your new neighbors. Way to set a first impression when you move in somewhere! 4) The main reason I came to complain, but they piled up as I dealt with more of that day.. they broke my mother's 52 inch Samsung 4k TV and only offered $60 to "replace" it. I'm not sure if they are living in the 60s but you cannot replace even a crappy TV for that price. Here's why they claim to only pay $60 for a $1200 TV: "We decided to do this because the TV was damaged while in preparation of protecting it and it was not due to negligence." So you think that preparing a TV to move it and damaging it in the process is not negligence? The legal definition of negligence reads as follows: "the tort or delict of being careless in breach of a duty to take care. The distinction to be made is between the act or omission itself, which is not enough to create legal liability: for this there must be a breach of pre-existing duty of care. Such a duty can exist on the basis of precedent, as, for example, a doctor to a patient or a carrier to a passenger, or can arise through the proximity or relationship of the parties." It was your company that prepared and moved the TV, therefor it is your responsibility in safe handling while doing so. I do believe the city would be very interested in the fact that your employees don't follow COVID procedures. I will follow up on this while I await hearing back from an attorney for costs on the TV

They showed up 5 hours late, yelled at me that I gave them a bad quote and refused to do my move which ended up costing me THOUSANDS. And spoiler, another company did the job in the time I was originally quoted by these people and for half the price. As a woman moving alone, these movers made me incredibly uncomfortable in the short time they were in my home. I called and got a quote over the phone. This was not unusual to me as I've only ever gotten phone quotes for moving and have never had issues in the past. I was quoted 2.5-3 hours with 3 movers. I called 5 other companies in the area and received similar quotes, I chose this company due to their availability. I scheduled my move for 4 days before I needed to be out of my place. They were scheduled to arrive between 12-3pm. At 3pm, I was told their morning job was taking much longer than anticipated but they should arrive within the hour. At 4pm I received a text from the team letting me know they were an HOUR AND A HALF away and would be stopping for food on their way. I contacted the "manager" and was assured they would be able to complete my move that day. The team showed up at 5:30pm, 5.5 hours late and I have never had movers be more disrespectful and demeaning toward me. My home was clean, fully boxed, and ready to be loaded. For $210/hour I was not about to waste time. They walked through my home to assess everything and Tyler, who is supposedly the best they have, was rude and disrespectful every step of the way. He yelled at me that there was no way they could do the move in the time quoted. Given that their morning job took 4-5 hours longer than anticipated, whoever is quoting jobs clearly doesn't know what they're doing. I was alone and the way their team treated me in my home made me incredibly uncomfortable, they yelled at me that I wasted their time, they drove to Fort Collins from Denver and their cars were in a storage unit in Denver that closed at 9pm. Even if they completed the job in the minimum quoted time, they still wouldn't have made it back to Denver in time to collect their vehicles so I don't see how that was my problem but he sure made it my problem. Tyler told me the move would take a team of 4 movers at least 7 hours to complete. To be clear, this was a two bedroom townhome, not a 5 bedroom house. As I was about to throw them out of my home for being so demeaning and disrespectful, they offered to step out and call their manager. At 6pm I received a call from the manager who told me the team claimed there were 150 boxes in my home and they would not be doing the move. When I argued that was absolutely not the case (i counted and there were 56 boxes, 6 large, 15 medium, 25 small, and 10 plastic tubs) I was told he didn't know who to believe...um excuse me?!? He offered to reschedule for another day at more than DOUBLE my initial quote. After the experience his "best guy" had to offer, there was no way I would ever agree to pay them even my original quote let alone $1800?! I told him this was unacceptable and explained the financial impact, all I got was "sorry, we wish you the best of luck with your move" after wasting 6 hours of my time and costing me thousands. This was a huge waste of my time and costly. I deliberately scheduled the move on my day off with several days after to do final small things and clean before handing over keys. A new tenant was scheduled to move in shortly after. Because of this company's laziness and incompetence, I had to pay an additional month rent and the next tenant's move was also impacted. I am truly beside myself at what a horrible experience this was. Now for the kicker - I hired another company to do my move the following week. I hired two movers and anticipated an 8 hour move due to what I was told by this team. I was genuinely afraid to do the walkthrough given what happened with moving brothers. I explained what happened and the new quote I was given and the new movers laughed. They said this team took too long at their job in the morning, ate and sat in the truck for an hour, and when they showed up they were tired or lazy and simply didn't want to do the job. They said the 7 hour quote was an FU to me since they drove up to Fort Collins. It took the new movers FOUR HOURS TOTAL. And cost me less than moving brothers original quote including a 40% tip. NEVER give this company your business. They will leave you up a creek without a paddle without so much as an apology. I'm grateful they requested cash payment and didn't require a deposit as they will never get a penny from me. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to avoid this company!
