They also have a nice Ask for a Plant program where they will send a plant friend to your room for your stay and will plant a tree somewhere for everyone who asks for a plant. They are also not stingy with giving out bottles of water (the tap water is safe there, but nice to have environmentally friendly bottles for wandering during the day). Social hour from 4-5 is nice, though I wish they had more variety in the choices. On one of the super hot days, they were handing out ice cream as people returned from the heat of the day. Lotti's also seemed to be out of a lot of the main dishes, even though the menu is already pretty limited. As for the rooms, they were okay, but felt a little worn and could really use some updating. Nothing terrible, but for what the hotel charges, I think you should be able to expect a bit more comfort and quality. After checking out the W Hotel nearby, which was much nicer for a similar price, I couldn't help but feel disappointed. For nearly $4500 after taxes for three nights in two rooms at the Hoxton, I honestly felt a bit cheated. I requested room service and I would get back to the hotel at around 5 and they still hadn't cleaned my room. I was frustrated. 5 days here was not worth the price, even though it's a pretty good location for public transportation.
