We were pleasantly surprised by how great Yoshi Sushi was. We usually have lower expectations for AYCE restaurants but all the food we had was delicious. The service was fast and accommodating. AYCE is $20 Mon-Fri from 11-3, otherwise it's $28. There are some items that aren't included in the AYCE and are noted on the menu. They have purple rice available by request, which they say is a crossbreed rice considered to be a superfood due to its higher nutrient content and digestibility. I liked the texture and preferred it over white rice. Their rolls were a little heavy on the rice. We tried a few teriyaki dishes and were able to ask for just the protein without the side of rice. My favorites were the scallion pancake (comes with curry sauce), chicken/beef teriyaki (very tender), dinosaur roll, sesame balls, and the red bean ice cream.

Went to yoshi sushi with my bf on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy. We did the all you can eat option which was around 27.99 each. The sushi was okay - not bad but also nothing to brag home about. We also ordered the pork gyoza which was very good The spring rolls were doughy and not a great crunchy consistency so that was disappointing. Pad Thai was ok My bf got the yellow fin jalapeño was the best in his opinion. He loved it. Service was fast and our waiter was very kind.

Always a great choice, all you can eat and great sized portions. Great service and plenty of seating! If you enjoy sushi, definitely give them a try.

Move over Sushi King, there's a new all-you-can-eat sushi in town! haha. I met up with one of my friends here one afternoon when they first opened up. Plenty of space and were served pretty quickly. The sushi that I've picked turned out amazing! I sadly had to leave behind the rice because it def gets you filled up! Interior is beautiful and we were taken care of. I def recommend and will be coming back for all you can eat!

Came here for the all you can eat($26pp). I got the RockNRoll, Fire In The Hole, Jurassic, RVA, Red Dragon, and Mamba Out roll. Most of the Sushi was really good I personally liked fire in the hole and RVA. I didn't like red dragon or mamba out. Service was very average at best, and can be a lot slower depending how crowded it is. They have a lot of items to try and for the price, there is good value and variety of things to have. I would definitely come back again! Food(50%): 7.6 Staff/service(25%): 6.0 Value(25%): 8.0 Overall: 7.3/10

Extremely impressed with this AYCE sushi restaurant. We had an amazing server, I wish I remembered his name. He was so attentive and friendly. We ordered appetizers and a round of sushi all which came out very quickly. The amount of fish on the rolls blew mind compared to other AYCE sushi restaurants. Especially the hand rolls. My partner has an avocado allergy and they accommodated two rolls without the avocado which we really appreciated. The tempura shrimp inside the Jurassic roll was really tasty! We were also very impressed with the quality of the fish used in all of the rolls. We will definitely be coming back when we're craving sushi!

Yoshi Sushi is an AYCE sushi and hibachi. Their lunch deal is $18.99 on weekdays and $25.99 for weekends or holidays. It's a very lovely interior with beautiful designs. It is very clean, and spacious. I was surprised there wasn't more customers. I made a reservation for lunch but that isn't necessary. It's an order a la carte for AYCE, so it's made fresh to order. I loved a lot of the appetizers, like the crab salad, seaweed salad, wonton with imitation crab meat, salmon. The edamame was a bit saltier, and the calamari was very crispy but ok. The sushi was good, I mainly order and eat on salmon, tuna and eel. It was very good! The hibachi is also so good!! They make their beef medium. It's very tasty and tender with a lot of garlic. The veggies are also made perfectly and so juicy. The beef fried rice has a good wok taste. You can just order the beef without anything else too!! The sushi was so good but overall, I give 4/5 stars for the slow service. We arrived around noon, and there weren't many customers during lunch yet it took the servers a very looong time to get us even just waters, or to bring us small plates, dipping sauce cups, extra chopsticks, etc. It also took a while before the food came out, but once it did, it was all at once. Yoshi Sushi is def my go to sushi place in RVA! I'll be back again!!!

100% recommendation... our server was so attentive and nice!! Those helping to seat and drop off items were also a pleasure. Found this place on yelp to find an all you can eat before going to Altria for a show. Food was good! Mushroom soup was way too peppery but our other items were great. We tried: shrimp tempura, calamari, gyoza, kani salad, chicken fried rice, chicken udon noodles, steak hibachi, shrimp tempura roll and dinosaur roll. I also got a lemon drop martini that was tasty and well made. Cute interior, sea life themed. Lots of fun wine bottle storage.

An all you can eat upscale japanese spot worth going to. The Pad Thai is delicious, and the hibachi options are a meal is not an appetizer portions. The sushi rolls are ample and premium sizes, too. You must go hungry, and yes, order an adult beverage too! Richmond VA was a great vibe. It's 25.99 for the all you can eat menu. There's also an a la cart option too.

There's a lot of options for what you can order which I was really surprised about! Service takes a while though, about 20-30 minutes for food to come out when you order so you really can't eat your fill. Also the sushi was okay, it was mushy and there was more rice and sauce than anything. Everything tasted pretty much the same. The pad Thai was really good and so was the cheesecake. The place was also pretty and clean

Never has such a delightful eatery been so aptly named! Trouvaille is a glorious find indeed! Mind you, if you read my reviews you will see I know a bit about good cocktails and better food! So context: I was completely blown away by this little tucked away spot on Lombardy Street in Richmond's glorious Fan neighborhood. To begin: Top shelf alcohol, merged into glorious soothing cocktails expertly blended and presented as swanky as any NYC or SF bar! If you like an expertly blended Manhattan this is the place. Next time the old fashioned or anything frankly on the menu! For dinner: I had the gnocchi with fresh spring peas in a light cream sauce with the kind of tender savory chicken one dreams of. The whole thing was an imaginative yet comforting fusion of Japanese-Italian-American comfort food. Think: deconstructed chicken pot pie! Hubby had the short ribs which melted in my mouth alongside a perfectly crispy yet tender Japanese inspired (Korean?) rice cake next to perfectly unctuous kimchi!! Just amazing! I traveled the world in every bite! Umami perfection. But I skipped telling you about the appetizer of fresh spring salad with arugula, burrata, and just fresh everything. The dressing was a tiny but overpowering but totally tolerable because of the perfect tang and balance of creaminess. Do good and the serving was beyond generous! We ordered delicious Homemade... like a truly homemade fresh loaf of bread arrived with perfectly not-too-sweet strawberry (what?) butter!! And save room for dessert! The oh so thin crepe cake with uh-mazing strawberry sauce and sweet (not too) crème was just light and pleasing. Again I could feel/taste the Japanese influence And then! An on the house chocolate pot de crepe had me swooning! This with our Malbec wine was like heaven on earth. Finally? The bill. So freaking reasonable! We spared no expense and had a bottle of wine! Nothing but pleasure here. The bill did not even make me angry! And I love decorum do I am happy to report: The vibe is incredibly cool, too. Think Gothic meets minimalism meets the gilded age. Such a glam space but not in the least bit intimidating. I am in LOVE! Don't miss this place. I see Michelin stars in Joe the Chef's future. I've been seeing Ginza Soot but haven't tried it. My husband wanted ramen (we usually go to Takara) and we saw Ginza had ramen on the menu so we decided to try it. We ordered takeout: -Korean wings half regular and 1/2 spicy. They were just okay. Better Korean wings are available around town so I'd skip these next time. - Beef gyoza- reminded me of the frozen ones I buy from Lotte or Trader Joe's. They were okay but I didn't get the 'made in house' vibe from these. I've had better. Wouldn't order them again. - Pork tonkatsu ramen spicy. Granted it was takeout, but the package seems like it was assembled and stored in the fridge until someone ordered. The broth had to be heated up. It wasn't great. Wouldn't order it again. - general Tao's chicken spicy. This was way too sweet and not a hint of spiciness. The broccoli was overcooked. This is on par will mall Chinese food. Actually I've had better general Tso's at the mall kiosk. I bet the drinks and teas are good. For food, this one is not for me. This goes in the once and done column for me.

Not spicy hot, like blow on your food as you eat hot, so be careful. It was very flavorful though and I took some leftovers and reheated in the air fryer just fine.
