I am naturally hesitant to eat raw seafood in Ohio. I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this, but…read moreOhio is not, in fact, near an ocean. There are no tuna swimming majestically up the Ohio River. So whenever someone hands me a bowl of raw fish here, there's a small part of my brain preparing for consequences. Poke Bunny, however, was a great little find. It's a true hole-in-the-wall spot with almost zero seating inside, so don't arrive expecting a leisurely dining experience with a waiter folding a napkin into your lap. You walk in, grab a sheet of paper, check off everything you want in your bowl, hand it over, and preferably take your delicious little creation somewhere else to eat it. And delicious it was. The fish seemed fresh and tasted great, the toppings were excellent, and the sauces were FIRE. The whole build-your-own system is easy, there are plenty of options, and you can basically engineer your perfect little bowl of raw-fish happiness. This is exactly the kind of place I want for lunch when I'm downtown for work... quick, easy, tasty, and no post-lunch regrets about eating seafood several hundred miles from the Atlantic. I'll absolutely be back.

They are served on a crispy bun and filled with juice meat, onions, cucumber, and lettuce. They are a nice size and the toppings and ingredients are good quality. Come for the food but stay to talk to this sweet soil! I cannot wait to return!!

I think this might be the same as "Shaxian Delicacies," or replaced it, because that is not in the food court but they seem to have the same kind of food. Small menu: Jiamo "sandwiches," noodles, steamed buns, etc. If you're hungry there are combos (jiamo and noodles, etc.) I wasn't super hungry, but I ended up with more than I could eat because it all sounded good. Two marinated eggs that I'll try later, a pork bun, and a pork jiamo. A jiamo is a sort of sandwich, really a bun cut open and stuffed with meat. Mine had finely chopped pork, and onion, with a bit of seasoning. I had hoped for more flavor. It's good, but mild. Comfort food, with a little pork broth soaking into the hearty bun. The steamed bun was pretty standard, puffy bland dough stuffed with, again, mildly-seasoned pork. Good, basically Chinese street food. Filling, cheap, easy to eat. Service was great. Pretty basic dining, in the food court. No napkins to be found.

They offer a solid variety of ramen, rice bowls, and udon noodle dishes, along with some really tasty appetizers. Everything we tried was fresh, well-priced, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and the broth was rich and comforting -- exactly what you want from a good ramen spot. One of the coolest parts of the experience? The food is delivered by adorable little robots, which was both fun and surprisingly efficient. It definitely adds to the charm and makes the place stand out. Service was smooth, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food came out hot and delicious. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last. If you're looking for a casual spot with great ramen and a fun twist, Hiro Ramen is worth checking out.

Sweetie wanted dumplings and chose this spot. Kid K was on board because they have boba. And me?…read more I love trying new places, especially Asian places. It's where Crispy Coop used to be. I miss them, but this is a worthy replacement. Same odd-shaped lot so be careful at peak. We went at 4 on a Saturday and it was steady but not busy. Half the clientele was Asian, which is a good sign to me. Staff were friendly, and patient with newbies. The interior is quite nice. We got ours to go, and it took about 10 minutes. Sweetie got pork and cabbage dumplings, pan-fried, and liked them. Kid K got a milk tea, added boba, and liked it. We asked for the piggy buns but they were out, so we went with bunny ones. But then what we actually got were pigs. Well, on the outside- those are supposed to be filled with red bean paste, and the bunnies have custard. These were pigs with custard. Whatever, the kid liked them, and got over "but I'm scared they'll be too cute to eat." Chomped in, loved the dough, liked the custard. I got pork sanji, and crab-pork soup dumplings. What's the difference? Sanji are buns, little bao buns. These were filled with a pork paste without much seasoning. Still good, and they came with a nice soy-based sauce. The crab-pork soup dumplings were excellent. Big, with lots of filling (eat them over a bowl or plate; not crazy soupy but definitely liquid inside with the meat.) One common denominator was that we all loved the doughs- on three different styles. The fillings were good but not as good as the wrappings. Price was good for how much food we got. Service, ambience, flavor was all good. They also have some Chinese entree standards, along with loads of dumplings. We'll be back.

I feel awkward having to check over my meal when I pick it up, since that's what the staff is supposed to do, but I'll have to do that if I order from here again. I love soup dumplings, and I haven't had any in years. They were out of pork soup dumplings, which is what I really wanted, but the chicken soup dumplings were good. They did a lovely job with the texture of the soup. The mini pork sanji were excellent, with or without the dumpling sauce. It concluded with a fortune cookie that was definitely not edible anymore. I've never had an old fortune cookie before, but this one was bendy and soft, not crunchy or fresh. Obviously the cookies aren't made in house, and they're just a bonus anyway, but it was still kind of gross. Again, it felt somewhat careless. I'm not sure if I'll return, but if I do I'll probably just get the sanji bites.

For example, you could get the spicy kani salad GF, but it would not have the spicy mayo on it (their mayo contains gluten). I was also told that the only GF ramen bowls were the vegetarian ones. I'm not a huge fan of tofu, but all the other proteins are marinated in a soy sauce containing gluten. I felt a bit mislead by the menu. However, my ramen was delicious, minus the chewy tofu haha There were a few sushi rolls that were safe and they did have GF soy sauce. They can get busy inside, so be prepared to wait during popular times.
