It's going to cost me approx $10,000 to redo the plumbing that Jackrabbit screwed up with their use of "sharkbite" fittings on a new build !! I mean seriously, those type of fittings are used if there is a repair to a water line ... not as a first line fitting in a new home !! Shame on you for doing sub-par work and using those fittings just because they cost more so the general contractor (Ben Nichols Construction) could charge a higher price and get a bigger percentage to charge on a time and materials job !! I called High Quality Plumbing based on their outstanding yelp reviews. Dan answered the phone when I called, and I told him what the problem was. He asked what brand faucet it was. I told him it was a 31-year-old Moen faucet installed when the house was built. I was concerned about the age of the faucet, but he felt confident a new Moen faucet cartridge would fix the issue. Dan showed up at 8:00 am the next day with a new Moen faucet cartridge. The old cartridge was difficult to get out of the valve body, but he completed the job in about 30 minutes. The repair bill was reasonable, and I am happy satisfied customer. I also got a 5% discount for being a new customer.
