I had a shower faucet which did not run any hot water in my master bedroom bathroom. If you turn the faucet handle all the way to the nine o'clock position, the water actually shut off instead of getting hot. I called High Quality Plumbing based on their outstanding yelp reviews. Dan answered the phone when I called, and I told him what the problem was. He asked what brand faucet it was. I told him it was a 31-year-old Moen faucet installed when the house was built. I was concerned about the age of the faucet, but he felt confident a new Moen faucet cartridge would fix the issue. Dan showed up at 8:00 am the next day with a new Moen faucet cartridge. The old cartridge was difficult to get out of the valve body, but he completed the job in about 30 minutes. The repair bill was reasonable, and I am happy satisfied customer. Great guys! So glad I picked the right plumbers for my blocked sewage. I had the pleasure of meeting with Daniel and Jack for my predicament. I had a very unique problem with my blocked sewage. Previous renters must have had children that found the "cleanout" and threw approximately 50 various size river rock down the pipe. Daniel initially came out and advised me that he needed the rocks out to get the "snake" down the pipe. I spend two full days of backbreaking work and managed to get every rock out of the 5 foot deep pipe. First of All -- Poor workmanship on the digging and filling of the ditch: According to owner Daniel, he gave me a very good price on replacing my sewer line. He never told me how he charges. I asked if I was being charged by the hour per employee or by the linear foot and he did not respond to my question. I calculated the job by linear feet and I was still in the plumbers' price range but more towards the lower end. Due to the fact that I was on the lower end, his employees did a terrible job of digging and filling the ditch plus how messy they work! Next -- High-Quality Plumbing, owner Daniel does not pull permits on replacing sewer pipes and has told me that I am a FIRST!!!! where he pulled a permit. He said he has done at least 100 without any permit!! Oh wow!! Permits are the contractor's responsibility, knowing when one is needed. The permit process is in place to protect the consumer and make the contractor accountable!! He told us multiple times that a permit was not necessary and I had to insist that he pull one. According to the Nevada State Contractors Board and also Douglas County, tankless a permit is always needed. He also upgraded and installed my new tankless water heater and he did not pull a permit for that job as well. I had him pull a permit when he was doing my sewer line. One of his employees also told me that this is the first on pulling a permit. I related to Daniel, if someone drives by and turns me in that I had this job done without a permit, I as a homeowner can be in trouble and Daniel agreed. He does not care for his customers!! If I don't need a permit then I don't need to hire a licensed contractor. Trust has been broken when your professional licensed plumber has lied. It is unfortunate that I am announcing that I will never use or refer High-Quality Plumbing for any plumbing service!! read more

Unbelievable!!! Friday night around 10pm hot water heater leaking all over the garage. We waited until Sat morning after stopping the flow of water assuming we were done for and looking at a new hot water heater. Not the case at all!! Called around 8am and Daniel showed up about an hour later. Turns out the overflow valve was faulty and he was able to repair it for a couple hundred bucks including the emergency service call fee!!! My garbage disposal had been slowly going out for months, so when the kitchen faucet decided to begin leaking (excessively), I called a few friends, but none could recommend a good plumber (although they did mention a few bad ones). Between the claims in the ad and the reviews I found about High Quality Plumbing on the internet, I decided to give them a try. Daniel answered immediately (at about 4pm on a Wednesday) and said he would come by to look at exactly what was going on. He arrived when he said he would and made a few recommendations. Since I was already impressed with his punctuality and since his demeanor was entirely professional, I hired him. He said he would pick up the new faucet and disposal on Thursday morning and would be back at my place at around 4pm. The next day he showed up pretty much exactly on time, got right to work and in less than 45 minutes everything was done.
